Factory recovery finished, now several devices in system without driver

Hello! I have a desktop HP Pavilion p7 - 1236 s with Windows 7 Home Premium x 64. I got the factory settings last night using recovery discs HP bought for my specific model. I have not installed/uninstalled all programs, drivers, etc., and now, Device Manager lists several devices of system without a driver.  The list includes: 2nd generation Intel Core processor to DRAM Controller-0100; direct memory access controller; high precision event timer. Intel 6 series/C200 Series Chipset Family SMBus Controller - 1 22; 5 instances of resources of the mother; digital data processor; programmable interrupt controller; 2 instances of card system; and the system clock. Before you recover my system last night, I had uninstalled the Intel RST 11.0.0.1032 program version. I have a single 1 terabyte hard drive (no RAID) and use the computer for my home-based business, and I had read elsewhere that it is not necessary for such a situation. Following this recovery, I see that the pilot in the path: C:\SWSETUP\DRV\Storage\Intel\RST\11.0.0.1032; However, the program is not in the programs of the devices & or Device Manager. -What is originally is current driver problems? I'd be VERY happy any idea that you could provide. Thank you!

You are the very welcome, Pam.

I hope HP will do a great job, fixing the problem.

  • Device PCI T410 without driver

    Hello

I just did a clean install of Windows XP 32 bit on my T410 and after installing all the drivers from the Lenovo Web site, I find myself with a PCI device without driver. I get a pop up window, whenever I connect. The device id is 3B2F, which, according to pcidatabase.com is a 6 Port SATA AHCI Intel Mobile. I installed quick storage drivers and drivers from the chipset and can't find anything about this or else that seemed relevant in the list of drivers, so I'm stumped.

I was unable to install Daemon Tools Lite, and I think that this might be related. It fails when it tries to install the SCSI adapter. I believe that the PCI device was there before I tried to install Daemon Tools, and it comes back if I try to uninstall in Device Manager, so I don't think it's a remnant of the failure of Daemon Tools install.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

    Thank you.

    Hi Jerome,

This device is the "Intel (r) 5 Series 6 Port SATA AHCI Controller' that the name should be in Device Manager.

This should be the correct driver of Lenovo:

    http://www-307.IBM.com/PC/support/site.WSS/document.do?sitestyle=Lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-74431

It should also work fine by downloading the Intel driver which is a newer version.

You said that you have installed Rapid Storage, but have you downloaded the driver from Lenovo and are sure that you have actually installed? If you download the driver of Lenovo using the link above and run the "6mim25ww.exe" file it will be unpacked to 'C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IRST', but it will NOT be installed. After uncompressed you can go into the Device Manager and double click on the device, then click on 'Update driver' and select 'Browse my computer... ". "and then type the path 'C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IRST '.

Another option would be to download the latest Intel's RST and simply run the installation so a little easier than the driver of Lenovo. If you got an SSD that trim the Intel driver support is a better option, because the driver of Lenovo doesn't support trim. The RST 9.6 or more recent support of trim. If you use a HARD disk, you must cut anyway.

  • SP3 update: now I can't system upward!

I ran this update SP3.  Now, my system does not start - even in SafeMode!  I have recovery self-made discs (2).  I can restore my system without losing the Post Microsift Office factory (installed)?

OK, so I found the solution!

Apparently, it's a recurring problem with HP computers when updated to the service pack SP3.

Although I don't have the exact message listed in this article, it was close enough to give it a try.  Success.  Note: I had to go to step 2 of the process.

Step 2: Use Microsoft Recovery Console to rename intelppm.sys

I had to restore my computer to factory settings and now I can't go on the internet. I have Windows 7

    Hello

When you perform a restore, you may need to reinstall the network drivers, etc..

As you can not access the internet on the recovery computer, use the computer that you are on to get here to do this.

Go to the website to make your computer > Driver and Software Support Section > find your computer model number > then your operating system > locate drivers Windows 7 > download and install the desktop > copy to flash drive > transfer onto the repaired computer.

  • Satellite L670 - the system HARD drive recovery does not start

    Hello together,

I have a problem with my laptop. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, that the laptop came with Win7 Home Premium 32 bit.
Now I want to restore the original Windows Home Premium. On the laptop is a second partition with a folder named "disk HARD recovery.

When I hold the button '0' on start nothing happens. The beginning of doesn´t of system recovery.

Can you help fix the problem.

    Thank you and best regards,
    Dinder

    Hello

This does not work because you have installed Win 7 64 bit as you said here:
    > I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, that the laptop came with Win7 Home Premium 32 bit.
But have you tried also pressing F8-> fix my computer-> drive HARD recovery?
    Try this

Otherwise, drive HARD recovery does not work because the boot manager has been changed or damaged as a result of the new install of Win 7 and this is why you cannot load HARD drive recovery.
That is why it s always recommended to create a recovery disc before changing anything on the HARD drive.

What to tell buddy you need recovery disks. I guess that you have a European model for laptop

You can order the recovery discs here:
    https://backupmedia.Toshiba.EU/landing.aspx

  • Suffered the laptop using the recovery, but now only see 1 hard disk, not 2 disc

    Hello

I used the system recovery disk to erase all the data on my laptop and re - install Windows Vista a-fresh. I used to have two hard drives (C and E), but now when I restored it I have only one.

Should I just stick with it like that, or I can re - create the division?

    Thank you

    kjh888

    Hello

What model of laptop do you have?
With 2 hard drives do you mean 2 hard drives or 2 partitions on a HARD drive?

The point is that recovery disk formats the HARD drive and erase the partitions created on the HARD drive, so if you had a partition, then a recovery disk can delete it from the HARD drive.

  • Re: Satellite A300-1MC: recovery would restore to the original system?

    The story so far...

    Laptop failed (A300-1MC)

    No available recovery disk
    Replaced HARD drive
Installed Vista using the borrowed from the previous model of Toshiba Satellite recovery disk
Installed the missing drivers-online work system without valid product key
Connected the old HARD drive using the box external usb
Launched original TRORDCLauncher on the old disk - no error

So now, I apparently have 2 recovery DVDs.

Question: Will these DVD restore to original system?

The previous Satellite was no TRORDCLauncher and come included with recovery disks

I am aware of the correct procedure-online recovery disks in order to https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu

    > So now apparently I 2 recovery DVDs.

Recovery disk would still set the laptop in the same condition as at the first day of purchase

  • Pavilion G7-1368dx: the factory recovery failed

A few weeks ago, Windows Update downloaded 10 Windows on my laptop. I tried a few days and decided I didn't like it so I uninstalled and reinstalled Windows 7 on my laptop. I lost the hp Recovery Manager, and by some people on this forum, I ordered the hp dvd recovery. I received the DVD and saved all my personal information. Then following the hp instructions that I started on the DVD and the recovery driver and application of discs. Records downloaded and after installation it says "failed to retrieve from the factory. So I retried 3 times with the same results. I searched the site of hp and found my problem and he said that you must have the wireless switch, but I tried and there is now nothing when I hit the button wireless. I am in desperate need. How can I fix it?

In fact, I realized that I was wrong to installation with the hp factory recovery disks. If your laptop has wifi the you must have the WiFi button before using the HP factory recovery disks, otherwise it will fail by the Service the customer of HP. Thanks for your help.

  • Device Manager says no driver base system, no driver of coprocesser

I have a HP Pavilion DV6707 entertainment notebook, AMD Athlonx2 64 processors and using Win Vista. Also, NVidia Geforce Go 7150 M graphics card with video memory shared to 799. My computer man put in a new hard drive for me and installed Win7 home Professor, thought, he'd a beautiful big favor. Now in Device Manager, it now shows the yellow triangle of Base and by the Co processor under that system. I searched HP as Nvidia me returned to the manufacturer to find the specific motherboard and or drivers. HP has no win7 64 bit drivers for this mother on board only the Win Vista drivers.  I downloaded the Vista 34 bit driver to a file, but of course Im afraid to try to install. Can a d/l old Win Vista and install with the key on the bottom of my computer? If I do that I will lose all my stuff I've accumulated so far on my computer? All in all I don't see where the lack of driver for this has affected the use of this computer.

  • HARD drive gone bad. How to replace the HARD drive and reinstall operating system without a recovery disk?

I have a HP with Windows 7 Home Premium TouchSmart tm2.  The HARD drive is clicking and will not start.  Error: Device not found Boot.  I guess I have to replace the HARD drive, but how can I restore/reinstall operating system without a recovery disk?  Windows was preinstalled, and I have the product key.  Thank you.

    Hello:

You can order a recovery disc defined by following the instructions on the link below.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00810334

    or...

You can download the 32-bit or 64-bit version of windows 7 Home Premium ISO on the link below and use your product key to activate the installation.

    http://www.mydigitallife.info/official-Windows-7-SP1-ISO-from-Digital-River/

You need a program that will be able to burn ISO files so that the DVD is bootable DVD burning. Burn at the slowest possible speed for best results.

Then install all the drivers you need for your PC support and driver page.

  • Windows recovery on a non-windows operating system

In early 2014, I bought a new Toshiba Satellite A7200 P75 (10/10 would buy once again). For about a month, I used the system with Win 8, that is very unhappy with her and Metro impulsively, I made the decision to completely remove Windows 8 and installed Linux Mint. However, I have created a system image and a recovery disk, now a year later I want to restore my system where it was when the image was created and go back to Windows as my main OS. Is this possible? I have scoured the internet for days and have not found a solution for restoring on a Ubuntu based OS. I used the most recent updates to win 8 and I am impressed and would go back (again). Any help would be appreciated, soon.
