• need help to compile multiple css files in swf

  Hello

  I have several (about 5) css files I want to compile in a single PERIOD (swf format) css.

  I thought that in two ways this can be done:

  1. do you have a summary of file css to all of the other files (something like "include") and compiling just this one.

  2. using mxmlc to compile all the css files in a single swf file.

  I got no indication on the web for each option.

  Does anyone know if this is possible? I can't wait to join the css files in a gigantic stylesheet...

• Several CSS files accessed by Media Queries vs. Dreamweaver fluid grid approach

  Is it better to insert the media in the head of a HTML file that refers to one of several CSS files depending on whether the device moble, plate, or office or is it possible to use the approach of fluid grid of Dreamweaver layout that evokes a single large CSS file with all the instructions for the three formats. I understand that it is the only choice you have if you use the grid to fluid. I just worry that this could slow down a mobile connection to load three sets of instructions CSS when only one is necessary.

  Take a look at the load time of my site that contains a huge CSS file.

  Hi, can someone help me with this conundrum?

  I have a site page 5, based on a common model with the BODY tag as an editable for other pages. However these pages require a separate CSS file, but I can't find a way to change the files for different pages.

  The model that I created (Home.dwt) contains its own CSS file, but how then modify this file based on other pages?

  Any help would be appreciated

  Take a look in your Home.dwt file to the top, between thesection. I think that when a model is saved/created by Dreamweaver inserts an editable 'head '.

  If its in the file Home.dwt, then it should be in all the other pages created from the template. Simply insert your css like below:

  Insert here the CSS

  If it is not in your file already Home.dwt to create an editable region for the specific css of the page:

  Save the Home.dwt file, and this region is expected to propagate to pages from the model

  Also please take into account the fact that any new styles css for a particular page should go in the code AFTER the link to your existing css file. This ensures that the new css styles will too drive css styles in your linked css file.

• Damaged on Dreamweaver CC 2015.3 CSS file

  I wrote CSS on Dreamweaver CC 2015.3 properties when I pressed the button turn off by accident.

  After restarting my laptop, the CSS file is totally damaged.

  This looks like a crash dump. It is possible that the original code is always in the file, probably upstairs or downstairs. If this isn't the case, I don't think that there is a way you can recover the file. Dreamweaver does not make backups.

  The beta version of Dreamweaver tries to recover files after a crash, as long as they have been recorded at least once, but this feature is not in DW CC 2015.3.

• CC of Dreamweaver (2015) - color chart does not spell insert or an RGB value in the CSS file?

  When I use the color picker Eyedropper to retrieve a color from a CSS file screen, by clicking on the color closes the dialog box but does not insert the color.

  It sounds as if you use the selector of color in Code view. In Code view, Dreamweaver expects you can enter the value manually. Use the pipette from the creator of CSS.

• How to fix: Page Template styles do not respond to changes in CSS files in the text editor of 'Developing' Admin Console

  I bought a model site.  It has a css file, /styles/screen.css

  It also has a template page 'home' with the link to the style sheet within the < head > section:

  "< link href="/styles/screen.css "rel ="stylesheet"type =" text/css"media ="screen"> < / link >

  I am tempted to change screen.css, by editing the file in the 'Develop' administration Console and pressing the 'Save' button on the file when changes are made.

  However, the changes do not appear in the preview of the Page template.

  However, if I do a < style > section in the head <>of the page template and put the change, it displays correctly.

  It's like the Page template does not recognize changes to the screen.css.

  I press "Save draft" and "Update" before you press 'Preview' to check for changes.

  My question is how to fix the Page Template styles that do not respond to changes in CSS files in the text editor of 'Developing' administration Console.

  I am a new user of BC and I agree it is likely a result of not knowing how the css BC.

  I think that you too complicate the thinking problem that BC is a non-standard way of processing applications to a css file. This looks more like a cache or perhaps a code problem. However, I would be happy to take a look at your code and see if I can remember where is the problem. Try Skype me and screen-sharing and I'll see what I can do.   What looks like the code in the CSS file?

  An external CSS file must be written in CSS only (no html tag like,,etc.).

  It must also have a .css file extension, if yours has an extension .html, that it will not work.

• Stop Dreamweaver loading of scripts/CSS files included in a page

  Dreamweaver CC 20141 (Mac OS X 10.10, Yosemite) has a big BUG... is not possible build with this large complex/websites.

  If I have a site with a large number of css files (or scripts), Dreamweaver takes too long to load/save a page that included (the wheel turns indefinitely).

  Is it possible to prevent the loading of scripts and CSS files included in a page, while I'm working on it (even temporarily) Dreamweaver?

  I know that without this function (loading external files), Dreamweaver is absolutely useless, but at the moment I found yet another tool of the IDE and I need to work with the speed.

  Could you comment on your links to external scripts and CSS files.

  To disable only the styles in Design view, go to view > Style made > uncheck display Styles.  Or consider using a Design-time Style sheet.

  To speed things up a bit, try these tips:

  1 edit-> preferences-> Code-> Disable description ToolTips indicators

  2 edit-> preferences-> highlight-> uncheck two active data translated and translated

  3. change->-> preferences-> synchronization settings uncheck all sync settings

• Dreamweaver is randomly delete my .css file and then crashing... need help as soon as POSSIBLE!

  I use Dreamweaver CS 5.5 to my work.  I just built a new Web site for the company use it for awhile, it was delete completely while in dreamweaver css file, and there was the little * next to the title as he had not been registered.  usually, I would try to close it without saving or crashing which is normally done after what is happening.  So far, the css files were not totally deleted... yet.  I do not expect that to happen before as I have try to fix it.  I searched google and forums and have found nothing or related topics.  I had my computer completely reformatted and that seemed to have fixed for a short period.  Now I'm on another web project and does it again, but this site is bigger and more important than the previous, and I don't have as much time to work on it.  Has anyone encountered this bug at all?  I need to get this fixed as soon as POSSIBLE... Really, I wouldn't lose my files.  I tend to hit Ctrl + S instinctively these days and I wouldn't do that, while it's been deleted.  Besides the downtime to restart Dreamweaver only that she is do it again 5 minutes later.

  • Windows 7 Pro SP1 64-bit
  • Dreamweaver CS 5.5
  • 24 GB RAM
  • Intel Xeon X 5650 @ 2.67GHz/2.66GHz (2 processors - 24 cores)

  Hmmmm...  When the content of the files disappears at random, it is usually a symptom of something much more deep - like a nasty Trojan/Virus, a failing hard drive, bad CPU or damaged user account.

  You can try the usual alternatives of DW below, but I think you might want your guys/girls TI to run some diagnostics on your computer.

  #1 make sure your CSS & HTML files contain the code invalid.  The tools of the W3C below.

  # 2 acting weird, the first thing to try is to delete the Cache of corrupt in DW DW start

• Why dreamweaver wants to replace my existing css file when you create a new page

  I created a Web site and I can not dreamweaver to accept my existing css file when I create a new page in the same Web site.  I click on file, create new page, I select page fluid and in the lower right, click on the link to an existing css file and click ok, but dreamweaver tells me so my css file does not exist and wants to replace my existing css file? What's happening?

  It's a little surprising that it is the way it is for a while now. Rather than create a fg with the attached css html, DW invites you to create a new css / replace the existing one. Why?

  The part confusing here is that the "css Attach leader"offers two options.

  1. fix like a normal CSS

  2. attach like a css FG

  If you check the preference to "Join as fluid grid CSS" (see attachment) you should not see this question.

  

  that is, unless you attach the css like a css FG, DW treats like any other css and waiting for you to bind one another css FG

  However, I'm too confused at first until I realized the difference. Hope this helps

  USNG Webfonts in CC is supposed to be easier, but instead, it's just a hindrance. I find myself deleting lines and includes lines of CSS and closure of many "stylesheet.css" file everytime I want to use a custom. It drives me crazy.

  Unfortunately, there is no option to disable linking stylesheet.css to your code.

  The stylesheet.css is created in the InDesign directory whenever you import once in your site and the police of the links to your pages.

  I suggest you please connect an enhancement request at https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform.

  Also good me if I'm wrong, you may want to than all the fonts that are connected by a single style sheet and doesn't have a style sheet for each time, right?

• Bootstrap, existing and Dreamweaver templates

  I'm new to the Bootstrap and I was wondering of several questions.

  First of all, I bought a Web sites entirely sensitive Bootstrap templates / themes (one being a model built on frame 3 Bootstrap html5 versatile). From what I read, it is best to create a CSS custom for all modifications of the existing model. What a best practice in Dreamweaver, copy and paste the main CSS to Bootstrap into a custom CSS file and make changes via the CSS panel on the right?

  Second, how I integrate Bootstraptor blocks to a model that I use (Starter Bootstrap model KIT: Twitter Bootstrap models free and Starter Bootstrap premium KIT Bootstrap v. 3.0), in Dreamweaver CS3. Do I have to use all the resources of support for a block of bootstrap?

  There is no instructions on the actual use!

  Bootstrap 3.0 is the old version.

  Current bootstrap is 3.3.6 and version 4.0 will be available soon.

  A basic document "bootstrap" consists of

  • "Bootstrap" CSS,
  • Optional Bootstrap theme,
  • jQuery JS
  • JS "bootstrap".

  During development, I use the whole package.  After the completion of the project, I sometimes Strip code for CSS unused & components.

  Template.dwt files are an exclusive feature of DW that facilitates the management of site a little.

  DW comes with some pre-constructed CSS Layouts that you can use to jump start your projects.  You will find under file > New > blank page > HTML, 3rd Panel.

  I find myself linking to reset.css, lightbox, jQuery, all the time I do a new project by using one of the models of DW.

  Is it possible that I can modify the source code for these templates, so I have Let's say the link to the reset.css file in all my models when I opened the?

  The files for each of these templates can be found here-

  C:/Program Files / Adobe / Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 / configuration / BuiltIn / Layouts

  (on 64-bit, you would use the "Program files (x 86)")

  I think that you can copy this BuiltIn folder and paste it in your USER folder to.

  C:/Users /AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Dreamweaver CS5/en_US/Configuration

  Can change in this folder to the user as you wish.
