Fake phone call or not

Explore easysoftech.com/1.exe - is this a virus because the phone yesterday told me to run it by someone who said that they were working on behalf of Microsoft.  They called saying they had my computer license number which they did and said every time I go on the internet that my details are coming on their server and they told me to run the above.  Before I ran it Microsoft Essentials began with a virus warning.  Was it a fake phone call.

A red circle that appears when you miss a phone call will not go away? Any ideas?

    Hello

If I am not mistaken, you see a red circle when you miss a phone call that you would like to go. If this is the case, you can simply open the app phone on your iPhone and wait 10 seconds, and then return to your home screen. In doing so, the iPhone think that you have viewed your missed calls, once you see the red circles will disappear. If you're still having problems, this can be a problem and a simple reboot will help. Here's how you can restart your iPhone:

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears
    • Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone
    • Once the iPhone is off, press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Apple logo appears.

    I hope this helps.

It's absolutely a scam!  No company like Microsoft, Apple, Dell or anyone else call you for any reason unless you call them.

There's a certain phone scams going on right now and if you have the caller ID, just look at the display and if you see "Microsoft" or if it is "Private" and that the appellant represents a computer company, ignore the call.

There are web sites that publish the fake pop-up messages indicating that your computer has problems and a scanner.  NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, cela!

Windows 8/8.1 already has an anti-virus/anti-spyware program (Windows Defender) If you are not using anything else and it will cover you.  I tested Microsoft Security Essentials (now called Windows Defender in Windows 8) for about three years and sometimes, if you get a web page infected, the web page is displayed as an empty and your web browser automatically updates your home page with a warning displayed.  It does not work.

If you get a pop-up message that stays on the screen as mentioned previously, DO NOT click on it.  Press CTRL + ALT + DEL and bring up the Task Manager and close all programs that appear as running.  You can see the web browser nearby.  Then you can close the Task Manager and open IE and if he asks me to restore your last session, say NO and go to the home page.  You'll be fine right there.  The pop ups are called "diversions" and locks your system.

Windows 8/8.1 will clean and optimize itself if you let on and intact for about 5 minutes.  You will see the 'Flag' icon change a flag with a clock which means that it runs Windows updates, disk cleanup, Disk Defrag, and update/analysis of Windows Defender itself.  You don't have to do anything.

  • Update IOS 10. Phone calls does not.

Yesterday, I downloaded IOS 10 for my iPhone 6.

When I now phone calls, others cannot hear me on the phone. I can hear the person I talk to a fine, but they don't hear me. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, is it possible to fix it?

    I'm also not a T-Mobile customer. I'm with Verizon.

    Hello jackhahahahaha,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. It is my understanding that since the update to iOS 10, the other appellants are unable to hear you when you use your iPhone 6. Understanding can be the most important part of a phone call. I want to assure you that others are able to hear you clearly.

I recommend first restart your iPhone. This can solve many unexpected behaviours. Follow the steps below to restart, if necessary.

    1. Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears.
    2. Drag the slider to turn off your device completely off.
    3. Once the device turns off, press and hold the sleep/wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

If the problem persists, test the microphones on your iPhone and follow the "Get help" section in the link below.

  • 10.2.1.537 Z10 post upgrade Blackberry Z10 OS blackBerry-phone call does not

    Dear team,

I have updated to OS 10.2.1.537 today morning post updated and I'm not able to make phone calls. On the choice of the network, I am able to select the required network (Airtel India) but not able to make phone calls. Neither the data service works. SMS message also works using the telephone network, but not the call. Tried restarting, remove the SIM and the battery without any improvement.

When you try to call I always get the message "the cell phone line is not available. Choose a different phone line and try your call again.

    concerning

    Surya Roy

Hello and welcome to the community!

10.2.1.537 is, in relative terms, a very old operating system level... you really need to use something more current, especially given your model Z10. I recommend that you force a reload of BONE via the more energetic method... ADF:

Remember that you you get the AutoLoader for 10.2.1.3247 because it contains some very important fixes for the Z10 specifically.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones * or # when a phone call is not recognized

    Need help!

Sometimes, when I am on a call and asks me to enter my account number, and then press the book, I enter my account number and then press [alt] [Q]. However, it is not to recognize the # sound being pressed. Some companies will let you just enter the number of account and then assumes that you have completed, but I came across one who keeps asking me to enter the account number, and then press the book.

I also have the same question when I call my home phone and I need to support on * to access my voicemail. I press [alt] [A], and it keeps telling me that I entered an invalid option.

I would appreciate any suggestions or messages.

    Thanks in advance

Press on the * /A key, with NO pressure on the ALT key.
