Several .lic files in the directory of Licenses

Can I place more than one license .lic file in the license folder in c:\Program Server\Licenses of license of VMware?

Yes, for esx 3.5 / vc 2.5 it is not necessary to consolidate the license files, the license server will read .lic many sons of the given directory

  • Convert several Word files from the Explorer windows for PDFs with bookmarks

    Hello

    I used to be able to select several Word documents in Windows Explorer and convert them into multiple individual PDFs with bookmarks (using XP, Office 2007, Acrobat 8 Standard). Lately, my computer has been upgraded to Windows 7 with Office 2010 and Acrobat X Standard. The selection of multiple files function exist; However, I encounter following issues:

    Thank you

    c3000ca

    1. the converted files without all the bookmarks.
    2. save the file screen pop up twice. First asked me to save to where it begins to convert, after PDF conversion screen has finished, it will ask me again to save the file in the root directory, i.e. when the files are really saving.
    3. for each open Doc file, Word 2010 pop up a message will indicate that the normal template file has been changed and ask me if I want to store the update.

    I tried searching everywhere on the web and seems we do not encounter the problem. Did someone encouerting similar problem?  Is there a way to solve the problem?

    Finally, I reinstalled Office 2010 and Acrobat X Standard.  Everything went very well.  No found bugs.  It must be a problem during the installation of the program. Detective Conan.

  • antivirus quarantined files in the directory of firefox as a malware program files

    These 3 files have been quarantined as viruses or Trojans heuristics:
    libegl.dll
    nssdbm3.dll
    webapprt - stub.exe

    All 3 files are in the directory program files for firefox. Once these files have been quarantined, and tried to launch FF I got error:

    Could not initialize the safety component of the application. The most likely cause is problems with files in the files of your application directory. Please check that this directory has no restriction of read/write and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you leave the app and solve this problem. If you continue to use this session, you might see the incorrect application behavior when you access security features.

    Once I click OK it opens FF but it won't open the home page. I want to be sure that these are in fact FF program files and not a virus trying to wreak havoc on my laptop. Thank you.

    Unfortunately, I can not add troubleshooting information as I'm in THE writing of this since I can't open FF.

    Hello szzqz, yes judging by the names of single file, these are the files that come with firefox and which are necessary for normal operations - so it is very likely that it is a false positive of your antivirus software. just to be sure, please download the full version of firefox for your new system from the official source to https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ and install it on top of your current installation, which will replace the missing files.

  • read xml files in the directory, and then extract the words from their

    I looked in the forums of LabView for a problem similar to mine, but I succumbed to find advice, I need.

    Some time previously, I wrote a LabView program to build a dictionary from an array of strings.  It was really just a list of words that I used to make a crude search engine.

    Now I try to repeat this experience.  However, I'm stuck at the first hurdle.  I have a directory containing a number of folders and files, including .xml files.

    What I have to do is read the individual words in the xml files and then merge the words in a large list.  From there, I should be able to make the dictionary, and I hope that my old search engine still works with the new data.

    The attachment shows my unsuccessful attempt to create a VI that can first index all files in a directory (what it is) and then list only files ending in ".xml" (which it does not).

    Any advice on how to get my word out list would be greatly appreciated!

    Adam

    Is that what you are looking for? (See attached image VI)

  • Reading/writing data to files in the directory "data" of the application

    I'm trying to write and then read a little data, and it does not work. The size of the file is back by '0' because I wrote the file:

    char* ptr = NULL;
    write_file("./data/test.txt", "testing!");
    read_file("./data/test.txt", &ptr);
    fprintf(stderr, "HERE: %s\n", ptr);

    void write_file(char* file_name, char* data)
    {
        FILE* file = fopen(file_name, "w");

        if (file == NULL)
        {
            fprintf(stderr, "Cannot write to file: %s\n", file_name);
        }
        else
        {
            fprintf(file, data);
        }

        close(file);
    }

    int read_file(char* file_name, char** data)
    {
        FILE* file = fopen(file_name, "r");

        if (file == NULL)
        {
            fprintf(stderr, "Cannot read from file: %s\n", file_name);

        }
        else
        {
            struct stat st;
            int rc = stat(file_name, &st);

            if (rc)
            {
                return -1;
            }

            long num_bytes = st.st_size;

            *data = malloc(num_bytes + 1);

            fread(*data, 1, num_bytes, file);

            (*data)[num_bytes] = NULL;
        }

        close(file);

        return 0;
    }

    Don't know what I'm doing wrong here...

    No idea, but a few tips:

    • Have you created the directory data?
    • Put an exit if the entry is successful, so you can be sure that your code is executed
    • Close the file only if opened successfully
    • Close the file with fclose. Close may not do and cause it is not emptied, the content can be empty. See http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/clibrary/cstdio/fopen/
    • Add a fflush (normally not used) after writing
  • Using copyTo to copy the Sqlite database file to the directory of the user

    I am trying to copy my database Sqlite directory of private enforcement directory of documents accessible to the user. Here is my code:

    // closing db connection
    dbConnection.close();
    // clearing the db file variable
    dbFile = null;

    // new handle on the same db file
    dbFile = File.applicationStorageDirectory.resolvePath("mydb.db");
    // copy to documents directory
    dbFile.copyTo(File.documentsDirectory);

    When I try to run the code on the device, I get:

    There is an example on the Adobe AIR help page:

    original var = air. File.documentsDirectory.resolvePath ("AIR Test/test.txt");

    newFile var = air. File.documentsDirectory.resolvePath ("AIR Test/copy.txt");

    original.copyTo (newFile, true); true means crushes!

    Therefore, specify the new file name too not only the directory.

  • Including several JSX files in the Panel

    I am trying to include several JSX files with my Panel and I followed this blog by Davide Barranca post:

    http://www.davidebarranca.com/2014/01/HTML-panels-tips-2-including-multiple-jsx

    External scripts are all evaluated very well, but when train to call one of the functions in one of these scripts, nothing happens:

    main.js

    csInterface.evalScript("externalFunc()");

    External.jsx

    /*jslint vars: true, plusplus: true, devel: true, nomen: true, regexp: true, indent: 4, maxerr: 50 */
    /*global $, Folder*/

    function externalFunc(){
        alert("yay - loaded additional external JSX");
    }

    It may depend on how you write your functions in the secondary jsx.

    var secondaryFun = function(param) { ... } // fails
    function secondaryFun(param) { ... }  // fails
    secondaryFun = function(param) { ... }  // works

    In addition, using the #include in the main .jsx a Panel causes a script error every time, but or may have the #include in a secondary .jsx file called from the hand through evalFile() and it will work.

    Madness of jsx inclusion here.

  • Find file in the directory

    I am currently using InDesign CS5.5

    I have an automation script for datamerge in javascript, I wrote, but I have had trouble finding all the references looking for files with javascript. I am well aware, you cannot have in javascript for the web, but there are side script server but cannot find where tutorials are online.

    What im will succeed to reach is this line here... but in javascript.

    rootName var = app.doScript ("set dittos to (do shell script" ls/Path/To/Folder")", ScriptLanguage.APPLESCRIPT_LANGUAGE ");

    now, to explain why im using this incase anyone wants this or wants to know... This will give me a list of names of files in a directory...

    I then apply...

    var filename is rootName.split('.'). Reverse(). Slice (1). Reverse(). Join('.');

    which deletes everything except the name of the file without the extension.

    A part of my program is... each csv file that comes in will not have the same name so I use this to get the name and then later apply to my data source and for recording on the PDF file.

    I would be grateful if anyone can help me get looking for a javascript file or if they could send me a link to the location of the documentation.

    I tried to use getFiles ("*.csv"), but I get an error... When I type an alert after getting the file, it displays the file with the full path and I can't use slice because it does nothing. literally, it does not decide. This is why I have been using applescript. I don't know if its more effective or do not use Javascript to do this or just Applescript would keep all languages.

    Finally, I would like to know how to put in place a function or some kind of County to enter only 1 file at a time in the case that 2 files go to the directory.

    Also if anyone wants the code to make a datamerge and save the PDFs I'll post with pleasure.

    Thank you

    I'm better at change to create

    Change this option to your taste

    filename = fetch_me_a_file ("*.csv");
    if (filename == null)
    alert ("No file found, or user canceled");
    else
    alert (filename);
    function fetch_me_a_file (mask)
    {
    var fileList = Folder.myDocuments.getFiles(mask);
    if (fileList.length == 0)
    {
      alert ("No files found");
      return null;
    }
    if (fileList.length == 1)
      return fileList[0].name;
    var selectedFile = Folder.myDocuments.openDlg("Fetch me a file", mask);
    // Canceled?
    if (selectedFile == null)
      return null;

    return selectedFile.name;
    }

    I was wondering if and how your Split Off Filename line worked, but decided to use this regular expression instead:

    name = filename.replace(/^.+\//, '');

    (replacement of everything before and including the slash with nothing), but then I thought, wait a minute. 'The object' returned by two getFiles and openDlg isn't actually a file name , - even if JS ideally converts a requested full when path-, it is a file object. And a normal file object has this useful property 'name': it's just the name of the file.

  • Where to put the simple html file in the directory of WebLogic structure?

    After installing JDeveloper 11 g and WebLogic 10.3 which came in the same exe (jdevstudio11110install.exe), I want to try WebLogic as ordinary web server for a simple html file. Where should the file is placed in the directory of WebLogics structure and they are there any settings that need to be done to make this work?

    Hello

    WebLogic cannot be considered as a Web server, even if she plays this role.
    I mean, you won't find any structure "htdocs Apache."

    You will need to create an EAR and or a WAR containing all your media.

    Alternatively, you can use virtual directories, such as detailed here:
    http://eDOCS.BEA.com/WLS/docs100/medrec_tutorials/webappdd.html#wp1059998 (Section 2.5)

    I hope this helps!

    Kind regards.
