• RV042 vpn - stops passing traffic but remains connected

  We have two boxes with a VPN tunnel RV042 connecting.  No problem, initiating the tunnel or passing traffic initially.  However, after "a certain" time (apparently random amounts of time) the VPN stops passing traffic.  Then, someone needs to go in web admin and disconnect/reconnect the VPN how it's ok once again.  What now happens several times a day.  FW ver is 1.3.12.6 on both sides - and addresses static ip from the ISP on both sides as well.  Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  Sorry I don't have a solution for you, but your post almost made me cry. We are experiencing the same problem, but with the VPN gateway to gateway static to the dynamic. I was hoping that the problem should go away if I could make the static dynamic side. It seems now I'm looking for other solutions. I wish you luck and thank you for bringing This gap to my attention.

• PIX stops passing all traffic at the entrance to command crypto

  I have a strange problem with a PIX 515 6.1 (2).

  I have 3 VPN tunnels already implemented. While trying to set up a 4th the PIX stops passing all traffic. He arrives precisely when I enter ANY command "crypto map.

  cancellation of the order by using "no card crypto...". ' or "clear xlate" is no help either. The PIX must be restarted before the traffic going on again. The CPU usage drops to zero and my telnet for the PIX session remains connected.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  Hi Ishaq,

  Please make sure you remove the card "Crypto" off the coast of the Interface by doing a ' no card crypto toVPNs no interface out ' and then add the necessary commands before reconnecting the Crypto map. Usually when we add a new command "toVPNs xx ipsec-isakmp crypto map" without removing the Crypto Card it starts encrypt all traffic passing through the PIX. After you make the required changes, reapply card Cryptography.

• Can't print Photosmart C5280. Error "object GPCore COM has stopped working and was closed".

  I have problems printing my Photosmart C5280 All-in-one on my desktop of Windows Vista 32-bit. I felt for a few years and have only recently met this issue. A few months ago, I set up a home network so I could print from my Toshiba laptop. The printer is connected to the computer via a USB cable and the laptop is connected via a Bigpond Modem/Router which is connected to the desktop via an ethernet cable. More recently, I have also configured for my son to be able to print from his HP laptop. Initially, we were able to print from any computer. The two paltops are running Windows 7 64 bit. However, in recent weeks, we noticed that we were no longer able to print from a laptop, and a few days ago, I was unable to print from the office. When I try to print from the office, the print job seems to go to the print queue, but is then removed from the queue. I then get an error message

  "GPCore COM object has stopped working and was closed".

  
  

  This applies to all applications even the test print. I just went through the steps on the HP site, including downloading and execution of printing HP troubleshooting and doctor Scan and uninstall then reinstall the printer. I'm a bit of a novice at the side Computer Hardware and wonder if there is anyone out there who has had a similar problem and found a solution. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

  Sometimes to do a simple uninstallation / reinstallation is not do the trick, and we try to remove all the software from the computer completely. Most of the drivers available at HP have a scrubber utility that removes all traces of the software on the computer and allows you to reinstall the software fresh. We should start there and see if that gets us running.

  I recommend you to do all this on the Vista machine. Once we have a working computer we can then pass from there to other laptops.

  Here are the instructions to use the tool of the scrubber. There are two sets of instructions, one for if you have installed the drivers from the HP website or if you have installed the drivers from the CD that came with your printer. Follow the instructions for your installation accordingly.

  Of the Original installation CD:
  1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup
  2. open my computer and click right then on the CD from the drive and select open
  3 open the Util folder
  4 open the CCC folder
  5. If you have an HP computer, run the L3uninstall.bat. If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.bat
  6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer
  7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup
  8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player
  http://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/
  9 download drivers and full software features

  10. run the download to reinstall the printer
  
  If the software has been downloaded and extracted to your system:
  1. type % temp % in the field of race
  2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)

  5. If you have an HP computer, run the L3uninstall.bat. If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.bat
  6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

  Looks like you're running the Digital Persona of SimplePass flavor.

  Two things to consider / try, in order.

  If the reset works, you don't have to reinstall the driver...

  • Hard reset
  • Reinstall the driver

  Hard Reset:

  Sometimes, all you need to do is the computer suddenly.  This method works for a variety of connection and "glued" program issues.

  • Disconnect all the external devices first.
  • Remove the AC power and battery
  • Press and hold the power button while in the minus 30 seconds
  • Reinstall the power supply for the first start only * see Note
  • Power on - connect
  • Next time you shut down the system, replace the battery.

  * Note: You can ignore the little battery aside.  If you wish, replace the battery the first time and do it with her.

  While playing the sims 3 the screen goes usually black then back to the game. then it goes black again and the game will continue once again, the screen is much darker. the darkness of the screen comes and goes and seems to pass the game of light to dark.   Take a look at this post: what to post in the forum games and then give us the details of your system and the operating system.   Given that this error is indicating your graphics card you can uninstall\reinstall the most recent driver.  Then clean restart your system and test.  Check the specifications of your video against the requirements of the game card.  If your card is at the very least, you may need to lower the resolution of the game.

• "dsca.exe program has stopped working".

  At startup I get an error message indicating "dsca.exe program has stopped working" how to fix this?

  dsca.exe is a Dell program used with, it of the support center and is not necessary to run at startup.  Go to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx and download, install and run Autoruns.  Pass the all tab.  Check all the items until you find the one who mentions dsca.exe or appears related to Dell (check all the items in the list because there may be multiple entries).  For each entry, uncheck the box to prevent it from start to start, and then click OK.  Restart the message should be gone (and you not have lost all functionality to your system by doing this).

• SmpSys.exe has stopped working

  I get the message that smpsys.exe has stopped working when I connect. Also, I can't pass on the firewall. The system simply won't accept it. I click on, but it remains off. I get the message' firewall cannot be turned on because the associated service is not running... Is this something to do with the message that I get when you connect? I have no other program, virus or security running.

• Trouble passing traffic HTTP w / IPS enabled on the Multilink Interface

  I have a 2811 using 2 bonded T1s to the Internet (using MLPPP). Before I glued the T1s and used the interface serial0 to access the net, I used the following instructions on my public interface without any problems;

  After that I stuck the T1s and removed the above statements interface series and placed on them my multilink interface panel, everything has stopped working (i.e. my home DNS, Web sites), but a remote user could ping the internal Web sites. When I removed the statements above of traffic Panel multilink interface flowed very well, but I had no security. I have included my config. Someone at - it guidance? I also tried to use 'ip check out myfw' on fa0/0 to see if it would work better and I got the same results, no access to my web servers from the outside world. Once I removed the statement, however, everything was perfect.

• Creative cloud has stopped working

  For a while now, have I struggled with the creative cloud application.

  Whenever an update is available and I try to install apparently is normal, until the progress bar gets almost 90%, then it just closes the window. Background cloud creative process will continue to run and will be hogging resources, but the installation never seems to finish, long waited on it was 9 hours. When I say my computer restarts there is no pop up window telling me a process is ongoing and should be closed or whatever it is.

  Once I restarted my computer immediately a pop up appears which reads "creative cloud has stopped working".

  In the past, I worked around it using the tool of CCcleaner, removing with Panel command does not work and then reinstall everything, but he would rather solve the problem instead of having to pass an all-day reinstall all my programs Adobe when Adobe decides to date creative cloud.

  My iPhoto has stopped working. I did clean up. Now, when I click it shows cannot be opened because of a problem. The problem has not said.

  iPhoto was not maintained or updated updated by Apple for about eighteen months.  Photos taken app supported since that time.
