  I'm shooting with a Nikon D300s and I was using 8 elements and Camera Raw 5.5 (included in item 8) to process my photos for two years now. Since today, when in Camera raw, I now see a new set of camera with v4 profiles added to the list options in camera of calibration.   These would have been added by an update to plug in Camera Raw. Each is an alternate interpretation of the raw data. We get these profiles of the manufacturer, then it means that put Nikon to update their profiles and we distribute them. Probably, you wouldn't be able to seems not much difference between the older version and the new version of the profile.

  These profiles are just files on the computer, and if you really just want to do the cleaning in the list, you can remove the extra copies. They are stored here:

  Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\Camera\Nikon D300S

  Win Vista/7: C:\Program Data\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\Camera\Nikon D300S

  Macintosh: HD/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Camera Raw / CameraProfiles / photo/Nikon D300S camera

  I recommend keep v4 files, because these are the latest versions.

  After deleting messages in OE, go to file | Folder | Compact to reduce the size of the folder.  Otherwise removal does not affect the size of a folder.  You should probably go to file | Folder | Compact everything to reduce all sizes of folder in OE.  I would like to make a backup first.

  I'm just starting to use networking and Windows 7 homegroups. I have a desktop PC and a laptop, Windows 7 64 bit on my network. Both have 3 user accounts with the same name. My account Steve has the same name and password on both. I want to be able to share files with myself in the residential group and no one else. However when I put my files on the desktop to be shared on the homegroup, it shares with all other accounts on the laptop. I can't share only with Steve on the homegroup.

• IMac is not able to share multimedia files with multiple users on the same computer.

  We just bought a new IMac that we were very excited.  We have phones Apple and iPads, replacement and ten year with a new Mac old PC made since.

  Now, the trouble begins. For more than ten years Windows had several usernames on the same machine and have been able to have a shared folder only for music, pictures and video that my iTunes program and others could acsess and share from several user names. This kept all in one place for new photos families by me or my wife and our 30 gigabytes of music that comes from our CDs was available at bolt of us. Now in train to implement on IMac should be easy but is impossible.  after transferring the music to my login information, it cannot acsess all files on my login. I am not even able to share or provide his acsess. I can move the iTunes folder to my shared folder. She can get acsess now but iTunes says that the library file is locked. I worked with care from Apple on the phone for that sold, but they believe it will not be possible without creating two copies of the 30 gigabytes of music for each of us. who would take more hard drive when it failed too.  Sharing is not any help. These files were before iTunes. I'm not pay 30 dollars a month to store in icloudcor use a google reader slow to the Internet connection when everything's fine here. Apparently Applow programmers do not believe in sharing of multimedia files between two users on the same device, even if a PC does that very well. Home sharing cannot help this. your applications should be able to be told to use the media files shared without import copies to readers of the user. I am very disappointed. Someone else has any ideas for that?  I have pictures, not iPhoto. I have a week more to be able to return it. I'm not interested in making a fake account that is always connected to share or maintaining of me constantly connected. It should have been easy, I had to be happy to play with new software.
