Hello. Dear Apple, I just want to know y iPad 2 Air cannot make phone call or what app or SIM card text have number can you improved

    Thank you

There is nobody here from Apple, just we users.

WhatsApp has not been developed for the iPad. Ask the developers.

The iPad can't make a phone call because it is not a phone.  But there is a choice of applications such as Skype to make calls over the internet.  The SIM card in an iPad has data only.

    2. What is the difference between an iPad only wifi and the other with wifi + 3 g without a sim card?

    1 honesty

2 WiFi + cell phone has GPS receiver and cellular material (obviously) to work with the cellular network.

    3. Yes, but you're dishonest.

    4. you can have internet access while you travel (for example: in your car, on the beach etc, where there is cellular signal coverage)

I understand it's not your fault, but you should always contact the seller and inform them of the error. If they tell you to keep, jump up and down with happiness.

  • share data between two applications

I would like to know if there is a way to share data between two applications of MXML or more?

Using the class SharedObject can operate only in a single application, but if you start a second request, this SharedObject does not its value (zero) already set from the first application.

    Thanks for your help!

I remember correctly, there is a setting to allow work between applications. Also you must be sure flush() to save the data.

    Another option is LocalConnection.

  • New SIM card new iPad mini 4 offer only AT & T refurb apple

I bought an iPad mini 4 on the Apple refurb store. It came with no SIM card. I went to my local apple retail store, and you have a card SIM Apple (after assisted by about 3 people; they seemed barely even know what I was talking about). I put the card and went data cell in the settings. Under "Choose a date plan" is the only option (already checked) "AT & T - A & T - Postpaid" and under that in the fine print, it says "SIM expired." If I tap on "Add a new plan", the only option for the carrier that appears is AT & T. After reading all about the flexibility of the Apple SIM card, I am very frustrated that it does not work as advertised. I've heard talk about AT & T lock SIM card after you choose, but I never had the chance to make the choice.

    PS. a reboot didn't help.

    Hello there npydyuan!

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support and congratulations on your new iPad mini 4.  I have the same model with cellular and I love being able to use everywhere and always have the data available to me.  I'm here to help you today.

This iPad comes with the same 1 year warranty and 14 day return policy, as would a brand new iPad mini 4.  Even if the iPad is refurbished, it should always be open and available for use on any carrier that supports the equipment.  Please contact the Apple Store Support by phone 1-800-MY-APPLE or if you prefer, you can discuss them here: Shopping help, scrolling down and clicking on the Chat now.

Best wishes and I know once your iPad mini 4 is sorted on you will enjoy it as much as I do mine!

  • If I sell or give my Mini iPad (1st generation) with more cellular WiFi (Verizon) can I keep my SIM card?

If I sell or give my Mini iPad (1st generation) with WiFi cellular (Verizon) can I keep my SIM card? OR once I deleted everything out of the device, the SIM card will be ready for a new user and all my information have also been deleted?

Yes, keep the card. The new owner is their own SIM for the device if you wish.

Make sure you follow all the steps here to ensure that the device is not locked for the new user. What to do before you sell or give away your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

  • Exchanging two different Sim cards in my iphone

Hi all. I am a new owner of the iphone and again on the forum. I recently bought a new self iphone unlocked and put in place with Gophone service. The service works very well for me, but not very well in my camp, located in a service area notoriously low. The residents of this area get good U S cellular service, but this service is less in my region of origin. My question is this: can I I put in place a plan for pre-payment with U S cellular and use his sim card in my phone when I'm at the camp and then put my Gophone SIM back in when I get home? My goal would be to buy a monthly pass only to the region, I am when I'm there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello there, Maine-iac50!

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support and congratulations for the new iPhone! It's a big question that you have about the use of the phone with 2 different suppliers. I can understand wanting to be able to use the iPhone in all areas as well. As long as the iPhone is unlocked, you should have no problem moving between carrier SIMs. As long each SIM card is active for each carrier.

    Cheers and enjoy your iPhone!

Sorry - your question is not very clear for me

  • New IPads come with an integrated SIM card

I recently bought a new iPad Pro in an Apple Store.  I didn't put them up, but now I'm wondering if there's a SIM inside.  I want to activate cell phone but don't want to start paying for the service, unless it will be able to be used immediately.

The iPad Pro WiFi + cell comes with a SIM card. Do not activate until you want to.

You happen to be in the United States, and if you decide you want to use Verizon, you will need to get a Verizon SIM (unless, of course, the iPad version, you got was for Verizon). They do not charge for them.

  • I have an iPad without any place to put a Sim Card. But I just updated my iPhone IOS 9.3 5 and before the full update there don't say "SIM necessary." Like I said my iPad has no where to put a SIM card on it what should I do?

I have an iPad that has no place to put a SIM card on it.but I just updated my iPhone 5 in IOS 9.3, but before the end of the update there is a stage says "SIM card required" so I put a SIM card to this topic, but how do I update my iPad to IOS 9.3? Please help I'm really scared of what will happen!

Only your iPhone needs a SIM card to do the upgrade, you will not be asked this question when you update your iPad unless it's an iPad GSM. I wouldn't do the update again as IOS 9.3 has serious bug (s) to fix first.
