  With regard to your questions:

  (1) currently, it is not possible using the Import Wizard. However, it could be done using web services.
  (2) the name must be different.

• How to synchronize the complete catalogue with mobile phone

  I plan to update my old LR5 to Lightroom CC.  The idea of making all my changes and management of any of my devices is interesting for me, so I downloaded the demo to test the functionality.  I quickly discovered, however, that I can't synchronize my catalog, only the collections - and only non-smart who.  I don't know if the feature is really limiting as it sounds, or if I'm just not understand it.  So I came here for help!

  I always got my photos via a hierarchical directory... structure loosely, yyyy/mm/eventname.  If it is really only possible to synchronize collections static, all my pictures in this directory structure are prohibited to Lightroom.  It seems to me that if I want to change (or even see) my photos on my iPad and al, I need to import my photos in Lightroom, as usual and then manually maintain a collections structure that reflects the structure of my library.  Is this the case?

  It is probably not enough space to put your catalogue online cloud and it would be very slow.   The synchronization process is for the initial edition more than the most recent shoot with the rest of the edition that happens on your desktop.

  I have two desktop computers and put my catalog and recent photos on a USB drive connected and who back up to another USB drive connected, in case I lost or destroy my external drive.

  I have a partition, Bootcamp with Win XP SP3. Fusion (2.0.4) is configured to run a machine virtual of Bootcamp. When we go to Fusion from an account other than the account used to set up the merger, it is always built a new virtual machine and applications to reinstall VMWare Tools.

  I don't know if this is related to the fact that each user has now several virtual machines listed in the merge Panel, some black, some grey. Some of these virtual machines start and the one who would start applications the VMWare Tools install.

  Built-in Administrator account does not have a split token and metro apps may not work under full administrator token. So metro apps cannot be turned on with the built-in Administrator account.

  I recommend you create a new user account to access the User Interface modern apps.

  Social sharing is only available in multi-folio apps, apps not unique-folio, even for the Pro or enterprise.

  It is important the portgroup bears the same name... This is the reference for the VM...

• Synchronization of shortcuts via Dropbox - Symlinks vs settings?

  For awhile, I was syncing my presets, scripts, plugins and between computers and versions AE via Dropbox (always on PC, but the stands of the theory), areas of work.

  To do this, I use symbolic links; for some reason, I thought using simple shortcuts would not be picked up correctly, especially with regard to the installation of software programs.

  I do a writeup of how do, and in the process, I came to the question of whether symbolic links are still necessary, or if a shortcut/realize is strong enough to do it with. Can anyone provide any input on the side of the tech?

  Also - for workspaces, I was syncing both ModifiedWorkspaces that OriginalUserWorkspaces to sync layouts. They are both necessary, or only one or the other?

  Other than these, I know (and pass on) problems of compatibility with presets in the new versions, plugins between the CC and CC pre installed, mediacore, doubling of the plugins, etc.

  Yes - did some more tests & dig myself, and it seems as well that while After Effects will dive in shortcuts for most of the parameters, the current Plugins / Mediacore directory was not considered with the standard shortcuts. In addition, all the tools based on the installation programs would work with shortcuts.

  Verdict: use symbolic links, no shortcuts.

  I know there are many positions related to this, but I'm still not clear on what I need to do, so I hope someone can help!

  I just bought a new laptop with Vista 64 bit, and I have a Palm Z22.  I know there is currently no drivers for Vista 64-bit, and my laptop does not seem have an infrared port, so here's my question: anyone had success synchronization a Z22 in any other way, and if so, how?  Any help would be appreciated!

  I am posting this probably a bit late, but for the benefit of anyone else who runs into this problem, I have had success using the IRDA to USB for Hotsync adapter a Z22 with a laptop under Vista 64.

  I use an old version of Palm Desktop and Hotsync software in 32-bit compatibility mode.  When I tried to do a Hotsync via the USB port, I discovered that there is no USB driver for 64-bit for the Palm handhelds.  Not at the time I write this, in any case (Nov. 2008).

  The only other option is IR for the Z22.  I found an adapter USB to IRDA model USB-1510 online.  The adapter comes with an extension cable USB for those who have a desktop PC or a USB located inconveniently on a laptop.

  As soon as I plugged the adapter to the USB port on the laptop the 64-bit for the adapter driver has been downloaded from the Windows Update site.

  I created Hotsync via infrared like I would on any other PC and it worked the first time.  The only problem is that if you start Hotsync by touching the permanent icon next to the writing area, he will always try to synchronize via USB, but I guess it's a matter of Palm Z22.  I have been using the icon on the main touch screen that always starts with an IR connection after the initial installation.

  If you have a different model, Bluetooth and Wi - Fi Hotsync seem to work for others.

  Last night I updated my W450 8 GB US yesterday to 4.55.97 through my Mac at home - he crossed without incident. Today I took for a race and then wanted to synchronize the workout on the site via the USB connected to my PC at work. The Motocast software did his thing without any error. Then I went to the site to view detailed information about the race, but the training was not there (I can still see it on the camera itself however).

  This process tends to work for me before, why it would not work anymore?

  There are a few problems of complications:

  (1) update 4.55.97

  (2) it was the first time I ran with my new Garmin HR strap

  (3) synchronization via USB via the PC at work, while I use Wifi at home

  (4) my last training always in the Web of W450 (account LahmeEnte79) site is a workout elliptical incompatible ("workout contains all the raw data"), that I can't delete somehow.

  Is there a way to define a workout on the device as "unsynchronized", so we can download it again?

  PS my boyfriend jogging today ordered a Garmin EN 910 last week; He regretted that powerfully after seeing the W450 :-)

  Problem solved thanks to Matt: turns out the problem was the date being set to one day earlier. After recording a workout and wait 24 hours, they have appeared on the site W450 :-)
