Shockwave Flash caused my browser 40.0.3 to launch the videos, I didn't play, I added an add-on to block the Flash Shockwave; However, this has become very cumbersome to turn on and off when I go to sites requiring Flash as a greeting card site. I found an other add-on called "Video without Flash", he told me to remove 'shockwave Flash' I did it, now I can't any video on the site of greeting card. • Why Firefox always turns off "activate" on the plugin Shockwave Flash in Firefox 39

Impossible to always select "activate" on the Shockwave Flash plugin since the upgrade to Firefox 39 today. I refuse to use this browser if I have to type "Allow and Remember" on every page that contains the flash code. He does not remember preferences, period. Have already rebooted my system, reinstalled Firefox flash and reinstalled twice. I tried uninstalling 39 and install automatically with a 37 talon but he upgraded me at 39

  • Try to update Shockwave Flash; It downloads, but when I click on install; the connection fails? WHY not the connection?

Update of Adobe Reader, Shockwave Flash and Java used to be so easy... until a year ago. Now, I hate when I run the Plugin Firefox check, only to see the UPDATE. I seem to be able to download ("initialization") the app, but when I go to INSTALL (I hope I have the right words), it indicates that the CONNECTION FAILED. Try again. THE CONNECTION HAS FAILED. CLICK FINISH TO RESTART THE INSTALLATION PROCESS. It became a cycle without end I contacted my internet provider (and going through their process of reboot) I'm connected to the Internet. I disabled my anti-virus prgm and my firewall; nothing seems to help. Last time I could actually INSTALL one of the programs/applications above, I did it with the help of ' solving problems when you use Firefox "... and who let me download,... but I can't find a selection like this now... it's why I write for Firefox/Mozilla.
I have been using Firefox for about 5-6 years now, and I love it! Except for these issues. I'm not a dummie, but not a geek either... I just need help.

You have a version 17 for what is very recent and are perhaps the most recent and up to date. The latest version is currently 17.0 v. 0.188

  • Shockwave flash 16.0.0.235 installed, there is a security risk, cannot update

There is an obsolete page on the Adobe Flash website blocked by Firefox 35.0.1 under Windows 7. Version 16.0.0.235 of Flash is labeled a security risk, "Always enable" is grayed out. I was on the Plugins page, and there I clicked on the update now linktext. I have been informed that all the old versions of Flash in the range of version 11 are blocked. Anywhere where go to from there. (My screenshot has a piece off the coast the Plugins page over top of the resulting page when I clicked the links provided).

Obsolete page being blocked has been received and I was able to run through the download process, but in the end, I got an error.
I tried several times to download install_flashplayer16x32_mssd_aaa_aih.exe, that downloads OK, and when I run it it downloads and installs Adobe Flash, then said: finishing and "There was a mistake."

Flash software Glary Utilities Update update Internet Explorer, says nothing about Firefox, now I know why. It is a mess.

I opened firefox Pei and went into the new profile Virgin I had created sometimes back. He was happily running a fully compatible version of Flash 11 (I bet that wouldn't last long because my browser's biting me in the end and disables it).

Firefox Pei and I created a new profile today. It has this crippled version 16.0.0.235 Flash.

It seems that Mozilla has an obsolete page telling me that all the old versions in the range of version 11 are blocked. No word on the newer versions.

From what I've read, others are in what concerns other browsers and come with a bad Flash, too. I don't have Firefox (well, Internet Exploder, which I cut like a piece of trash since they came out with IE 7).

    Any advice? Thank you.

This is over my head. I called the big players to help you.

    Hello

Try to do. Follow the following:

Step 1: type Subject: addons in your address bar and press to enter.

Step 2: you will see a wheel like image on the top right of your browser. Click on it.

Step 3: Clicking on it will give you options like check the updates, see updates, install the update automatically etc. If your software to update automatically option is checked, please uncheck the box.

    It will be useful.

  • The updated Windows 7 and Firefox 32.0.1, Shockwave, Flash 15.0.0152 are totally screwed up.

Nothing works. Can't even turn on the Task Manager. All the foregoing is the latest version. I would be interested if anyone has the same problem, which surfaced after Windows update. In my opinion, Shockwave Flash is the worst software in the history of computing. Hardware acceleration for Flash and Firefox are out of service, otherwise Firefox crashes. I now work in safe mode, and the first thing I have to do is turn off Flash, then check my drive with chkdsk. It is probably a Windows problem; they always boast about how to code problems in windows amounts to only 3% of the total. Right. Another point is that Firefox has its own problems. Why can't you run it with hardware acceleration on? Why must you do a work around with slows everything down to an analysis? It took so ridiculous I think strongly convert completely to Linux Debian. I only half configured; I just need to my favorites on the port to Iceweasel, get my outloook files and install a player. Normal operation for me, with limited plugins, is very slow.

You are using an older version of Firefox. Can update you and
    see if the problem persists?

    Mozilla Help files;
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

  • Installation of shockwave flash version 14.0.0176

    Hello there, Mozilla,...)

I just checked my modules and told me to update my Shockwave Flash. I clicked on "update now" and he sent me to a page where it sets out in detail the potential problems with the version I have and to upgrade to version 14.0.0175 that (I think and hope) he has done to date. However, when I rebooted my computer, I checked again and it still says "update now". I have to honestly admit, I'm not all that 'tech savvy' and don't know what I should do next. I would be extremely grateful if someone could get back to me with some advice on what I should do.

    Yours sincerely

    Angela M Silverwood

You use the Mozilla plugin check page?

    https://www.Mozilla.org/pluginCheck/

This Adobe test page will also show your current version:

    https://www.Adobe.com/software/Flash/about/

It is possible to get a series of messages 'you must update' Web sites and also generated by other modules, so I suggest to check these reliable sources.

  • Shockwave Flash Player crashes

Used FF exclusively for years. Installed new FF recently, started by a script message does not respond, what led to the crash of Adobe Shockwave Flash Player message ever time I try to do anything. Tried to install the latest version, in fact, crashed during installation! Tried resetting FF, in addition to breaking. It became problematic for all work at all. I have noticed that a lot of people with this problem have talked about switching to chrome, may have to do the same.

I said several times that Flash was f ' n ridiculous to work with Firefox and most of the questions on this support site are due to this piece of crap Flash. Mozilla is building an alternative for Flash called Shumway. It is not available for daily use but is available in the night compilation very early (not enabled by default)

It seems that Flash is already at the latest version, right?

    Try turning off hardware acceleration.

    1. Go to the Adobe Flash Player help page.
    2. Right-click on the Flash Player logo on this page.
    3. Click settings on the shortcut menu. The Adobe Flash Player settings screen opens.
    4. Click the icon in the lower left of the Adobe Flash Player settings window to open the display panel.

    5. Remove the enable hardware accelerationcheck box.
    6. Click close to close the Adobe Flash Player settings window.
    7. Restart Firefox.

This Flash Player help - display settings page contains more information about the Flash Player hardware acceleration, if you are interested.

None of these permits. I found the utility to uninstall Shockwave flash and just reinstall from scratch.
