  Hello world!

  I use Premiere Pro CS6 (and CC lately). I have a 30-minute audio clip in my calendar with nearly 200 markers applied (entered manually by me at some audio points, every 5-10 seconds or so apart about). I've also prepared 200 images for my presentation.

  I'm looking for ' automatically ' to abandon these 200 images on my calendar and have them "in sync" with 200 audio markers (so each image starts and ends exactly between the 2 markers, "cutting" for them, while the images change according to the audio markers - such as a 'smart' slideshow 'synched' to my audio markers).

  I know I can do it manually on the timeline one by one for each image ("alignment" of its markers), but I was wondering if I can do it in a "batch mode" or something...

• Importers of batch images synchronized with audio / markers

  I am trying to create a sequence that displays hundreds of images in succession. I want the images to change according to the mood/speed/pace of the music being played at the moment. For example, change to the next image every time the kickdrum is heard. I want to talk about a quick succession of images, many of them will show that for a couple of images. So basically I'm looking for a way to achieve as soon as possible.

  That's what I came with.

  1. First of all, I'll listen to the song and change my preferences so that in the tab "Général" , the "still Image default duration" is on the number of images that would be better synchronization with the tempo/rhythm of the song.
  2. Then, I listen to the song again in the 'Source' Panel and all playing, it I'll put markers using the keyboard shortuct m where I want the images to change. If necessary, I'll listen to it again at speed reduced by half or zoom in a batch and adjust the position of the markers until I am happy.
  3. Then I import the track on my calendar, as well as all my images, which of course will not synchronize with the markers. So I will basically use the "ripple Edit Tool" with all my images and set the entry points and each image individually so that they 'click ' sound for the markers.
  4. Finally I'll refine the entry points and images, perform waving cuts and make minor adjustments.

  Is there a way to speed up this workflow? Maybe a way so that when I import all the images in the timeline, they'll automatically synchronize their points of entry and with the position of the markers?

  I've never used, but the controller to sequence feature has the ability to add clips on the unnumbered markers.

• Captivate more text that should appear on a separate slide

  I use the last 8 Captivate on win 7 and 8 bit 64 and 32.

  I need to create a demo of captivate program and for this I used 2 empty slides and captions of input text 4 sentences and object initially, a quiz on the end with one of each sample question. I want this text captions on beginning to appear on the screen one after the other with 2 seconds delay and that if the user wants to can speed up the text by clicking anywhere on the slide. On the timeline, I went the legends of text I want to, but when I click on preview or publish project he shoes only title set starting with slide time delay 0 sec and he's going only on the text of the caption, if the button is clicked PLAY, but I hide PlayBar in the final product.   You cannot combine your two requests: by clicking on the slide would mean a box click concealing the entire slide, but you will lose the functionality of the other form buttons since they lie below the boxes to click. There, you will have to find another way.

  Hi guys =) I will build a mounting with PP & AE system and I am trying to decide on my storage configuration. Google, PPBM7, books whites and useful forum posters have mostly resolved my questions.

  But one thing that I'm still not clear persistent Disk Cache. After reading this white paper , have left me a bit ambiguous as to how different caches must be sorted.

  That I have collected (I think it's good):

  • Persistent disk cache is a "permanent" copy / stable for your RAM previews.
  • Persistent disk cache is totally different from the 'media Cache"/"Scratchdisk' other guides on PS, PP, etc, I see.
  • PDC is also distinct from the "media Cache" used by After Effects
  • Caches of media should always have their own drive (if possible) because they are accessible at all times and benefit from separation I/O

  I'm not sure is:

  Should be the PDC also on its own separate drive of the media Cache? The white paper and other configuration guides, leave this ambiguous, often only mention 'Caches Media' in their recommended configuration "four motor".

  I am interested in this in 2 different directions:

  • Hypothetical. Whether practical or not, performance increase by PDC and media on separate drives Cache?
  • Practice. In practice, if the main domain controller is placed on the same drive as the other Caches/Scratchdisks, will create this slowdown noteworthy/questions?

  Yes, it's OK to use the SSD even for the two kinds of cache. If you had a lot of extra money, you could get a small acceleration by separating them, but it is not essential to do so.

• Generator doesn't include no audio

  Created a short Motion project which included an audio track.

  Save as template and registered as a generator. And, it is displayed as expected in FCP generators

  When I add it to a project, it does not appear that audio has made the transition to FCP - how to save a generator with an audio element or how they have to play in the generator in a project of FCP?

  It must be something simple, but what I see in the help files, it must just come with the rest of the material.

  The audio file has no DRM or any project on this subject.

  It was ever thus. In FCPX, in an event, an import media. Navigate to the folder of the generator. Open the Media folder and import the audio into FCPX.

  Why is it so? My * guess * is that generators (titles and Transitions) can be "stretched" by the user in the plot. How FCPX know where the sync point is once everything is shifted? And for effects, clip lengths can be anything, why the same applies.

  It would be nice to have the audio markers and have audio imported with the effects generator. Perhaps, which might be a good topic for Motion Feedback? In the meantime, look for your audio in the Media of the model folder. It should always be available here.

• Droid: How to change the types of contact or add contacts phone only (no sync gmail)?

  I have a Motorola Droid on Verizon.  I use the file update Android 2.1 actions, and I have not rooted.  I have not loaded all the apps that modify the application contact or hook in there as I know.  The only application that I'm unsure about is Skype, which I believe is able to access the contacts, but does present itself as a type of contact.

  Problem:

  I manually added a few contacts on the phone.  When I checked my gmail account, these contacts appeared in my gmail contacts list.  It is unacceptable that the many contacts that I need to put it in my phone can not be rejected (for legal reasons) in a Cloud Computing environment.

  Only one user on Freenode referred to the possibility to click on the "Contact Type" at the top of the new user form to select other types of contact (on his HTC phone), but when I type on where it says, 'Google Contact,' no other options are provided, nor any generated interaction.

  A way to enter a contact manually or via the file download, to produce phone only contacts who are NOT synchronized to my gmail account.

  Hmmm.  If you go into the settings menu, click Accounts & sync, select an account and disable the synchronization of Contact (supposed Google account), manually create a new contact on the phone, will be this new contact on the phone or be synchronized into the cloud?  (He did not personally, but my hope is that it should not sync.)  I have three accounts of GMail on my phone and only synchronize contacts to one of them.  Contacts in the other two accounts do not seem to come and go. -Mark

  I've just updated to 2015 CC and things last much until now.

  Usually, I saw just the audio with. then create markers on audio using * however each time I create a marker the audio stops. I tried to run a preview to include markers, but even that does not work.

  Is there a different workflow, that I can use to put audio markers? It's really frustrating trying to time things to audio.

• How can I turn off the music on separate layers?

  I have a number of different music on each on their own layer. Is it possible to simply disable sound in a layer so I can test pieces of different music without having to delete the layer, and then drag a new sound? In short, when I saw my movie all the sounds play both, but is there a way to just disable the sounds of each layer to test each piece of music separately. Is - this possibe?

  Add new keyframe in the layer that you want the music to stop. Add the same sound and stopthe synchronization value. On the frame where your music starts, you should have Sync value start. To set the synchronization, select the image with music inside and check the properties panel->-> Sync Sound.

• Why people have separate libraries in their collection of photos?

  I have a mac mini and love it.  I take lots of pictures for my company and currently have more than 23 K picture in my library.  One of the technicians at the service of the Apple suggested that I create a library for my photos of the company while my computer was not cycling through so many photos to open iphoto.  It doesn't take long to open iphoto.  And I've got albums organize my pix of the company.  I feel like the opening of a separate library is a duplicaiton of effort.  Am I missing something?  Why should it be a separate library?

  There is absolutely no need to have several libraries. They're embarrassing, you save nothing. My library is 3 times the size of yours and an iPhoto library is good for 250 000 images (iPhoto 09) or 1 000 000 (iPhoto 11). • Minor graphical change axis scale markers to multiples of 6

  I have a chart whose axis go from 0 to 36.  For some reason any when I choose the uniform spacing marker, I get markers at 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 36.  It is, incidentally, NOT uniforms marker spacing.  Uniform spacing would be equal increments between spaces.  What I want is multiple of 6: 0, 6, 12, 18, 24 and 36.  I've been in all the menus associated with this table, and there seems to be no way to make this simple change.

  You should be able to set desired axis markers by double-clicking the marker and the edition number. Any value that you specify in this way will fix the spacing on your chart. In your case, I would try to change the Launcher "5" "6".   You can also choose spacing 'Arbitrary' marker and assign any desired, uniform or no markers.

  I actually met the same problem before and the answer is not obvious - thanks for asking here, I hope that someone else with this problem will be able to look for the solution more easily.
