Theoretically there should be no difference because there is not any speed of Internet home/nonommercial to the United States that go beyond the capabilities of each network wireless "N" or wired Ethernet networking, but the details vary depending on many variables outside of the theory. For example, your router may have a good wireless signal, but a shit Ethernet switch so it can work better with wireless.  On the other hand, you can be so far from the router wireless is difficult but Wired works well. Test for yourself and see.

  Should be good, but you don't need as much. Just do not install / run more than 1 Firewall at the same time. Otherwise, they will conflict. You need Malwarebytes / adaware and Prevx on renewals. Since then, MS do not have these programs

  A free edition
  An edition of Malewarebytes Pro you have to buy.

  Ask thos 'pro' that is they added to your computer.
  Let them also disable the protection in real time of the Malwarebytes.

  I have MSE as my time protection rel and Malwarebytes (free version) as my program "we demand."
  Ways to request that is not run until I turn it on, and it stops when finished scanning.

  You should run Disk Cleanup in each user account. Do not try to shut it down or change user when defragmentation; system files may be damaged. You must stop the defragmentation, log off, restart the defragmentation and don't really no point for it. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!
