Should I uninstall Lightroom cc free trial before buying / installing desktop version?
I tried the free demo for 30 days of cc in Lightroom, but now it is expired I prefer to buy the desktop version.
Do I need to uninstall first the cc of Lightroom version?
Thank you
Roel
Yes, you can still buy and keep the software license at the time of connection that will give you an option to enter your serial key.

My free trial of Illustrator 2015 crashed and burned after 2 days of trial. How can I get my trial free back before buy you. and if I decide to buy it, will I get another version to download. As I don't want the broken version that will not reopen.
Cindy,
I believe you can reinstall right under the trial, use preferably the full path in three steps (the otherwise strange things may persist):
(1) uninstall (check the box to delete the preferences),
(2) run the cleanup tool, see the link below,
(3) reinstall.
http://www.Adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
The cleaning tool works for all versions of CS3 on (you can see the top of the page).
Here are the instructions for use, including individual applications:

I will soon buy a new computer and don't know if it will be a PC or a Mac. All my current photography software are PC. I use mainly Lightroom V. 5 point whatever for minor treatment but has discovered that a recent camera (Canon G3 X) camera raw acquisition format is not taken in charge by this version of LR 5 (least AFAIK). So now I'm debating upgrade 1) LR 6 (office) (which is crazy expensive (US $150) knowing that in a few months that I'll need to buy a new laptop (PC or MAC) so I have to decide now on this decision too or 2) subscribe to CC now and just finish. I'm honestly not picky about switching CC because it's just a LOT of things that I don't need. Synchronization with mobile devices etc far too many things that require a computer for this photographer's time. (Bring back film as I say)
In any case, a few questions for the community.
(1) if I switch to CC now and choose the PC version, can I change it later if I decide to buy a MAC and how many hoops and loops, I need to pass through this do (and no extra cost)?
(2) if I decide to buy the desktop version (PC) and the switch later to a MAC, you can switch OS within this license or do I need to buy the same version again for MAC OS?
(3) if I now choose Lightroom CC, decide I don't want to unsubscribe and then buy version 6 desktop, will still be able to retrieve/reading/access/on my computer a little matter, I have dealt on the version of cloud on the desktop version?
(4) I remember in the old days, if you have a version of Adobe software, when new versions were published, you paid only for a version upgrade ($ 99 I think when I upgraded from 4 to 5 in 2013), not the full price for a license. Is that still the case, and if so is the 'upgrade' cost US $ 150?
Thanks, any help on these questions would be greatly appreciated
Exhausted...
Kim
Thanks I will try that

There is really little need to keep if you replace the older versions with new professionals in the creative cloud collection. But I'd keep around until you are sure the work of CC versions on your system and no, you don't need to delete them.

Should I uninstall Firefox 3.6.6 before upgrade to OSX 10.6?
I don't want absolutely no glitches when I improve my MacBookPro of OSX 10.5.8 to 10.6.3. I use Safari as my main browser and Firefox only when a Web site does not work well with Safari. Therefore, I thought it may be best to uninstall Firefox before I update, because I can always reinstall Firefox after I updated. What do you think? I AppZapper use to uninstall Firefox, as it will search for and collect all preferably, etc., lists that accompany the Firefox, resulting in a complete and clean uninstall. Any thoughts? Thank you!
Hello Gordon.
I don't know if you should uninstall Firefox before upgrading to Mac OS X (I don't think, anyway), but you may be interested to know how to back up your information, if you are afraid of losing it in the upgrade:

Hello
I just finished the free 30 day trial of Adobe Acrobat. I went and downloaded a paid version of the software (but with less features). I had to remove the upgraded to this version. I have paid but now cannot find the program on my laptop (which is Windows 10). It was about 30 minutes ago. Anyone know what happened?
Thank you
Hello
Please check with the name of the file.
However, you only have to download an earlier version.
Adobe does not sell any of the previous plus versions.
You can only use the trial for the previous version.
You will need to go to Acrobat DC.
You can search by the path of the product or search in downloads.

Hi Adobe community.
Just finished my trial of Adobe Lightroom CC in my PC (Windows 7).
Decided to buy the desktop version of Lightroom 6.
Already downloaded and was instantly installation but thought posting my question here first.
Do I need to uninstall the CC with Lightroom (Trial) first on the PC?
The trial period is over I've been prompted to type a code, I have now, not sure which can be used for the test CC Lightroom I have on my PC now.
I have a fair a few photos in the catalogue atm and that you would not lose any data.
Tips before hitting the button install and ruin everything?
See you soon
Nick
No need to uninstall CC. Enter your serial number to convert it to perpetually licensed 6 version.

No idea what to do, any help will be appreciated.
Thank you.
Hello
In order to use Photoshop CC, you will need the OS 10.9 or later version.
As a free trial version you can try Creative Cloud 2015 Apps, which are compatible with 10.9 or higher
