Show/hide object Multi State

I can show something multistate having a vacuum State and go to State 2, but how to hide this?

Put the x in the second State and put an empty button above it.

  • The use of objects multi-state for the next stage of the course 9

In my old clumsy e-Learning authoring tool, I could create a slide with several steps. You would click the button Next to display text and graphics.  When you get to the last step, the next step button disappears, so that you know that you have completed. How can I make this work with multi-state Cap 9 objects?  I created an object with 3 States multi-state. I created a button with an action go to Next State.  It is fine until you get to the last State.  If you click the button again, it starts again with the first State.

Yes, I can create several buttons. But I really just want a button called next step which disappears after posting the last State.  The user would know that she had displayed all the steps.

Any suggestions are welcome.  Thank you.

    Here is a sample script:

This has been implemented for 6 States (for a container of text, the Normal State is an empty form).

    There are 2 user variables:

    • v_counter has a default value of 0
    • v_max is the number of States, you can replace it with the literal '6' or you need to

The first decision "done" check if the counter reaches the maximum value (v_max). If this is the case all States should have been disclosed, and it should end the loop. That's why this decision will disable the button used to change States (SB_StateTrigger) and here also to change its status to an invisible state (AfterLoop). Upon return to the slide, the State will be back to Normal (visible), and simply activate the button again. You can replace this with a simple action to hide as well if you want.

If the first decision is not true, there are still reports to be shown and the counter is incremented.

All 6 other decisions are similar (I collapsed 2 of them): they will test the value of the counter and show the associated State. I used to state3 on a common standard. This makes it possible to use exactly the same advanced also action if the total number of States is less than 6. Simply change the value of v_max.

  • Dynamic object multi-state buttons sometimes remain in hover state.

I created a lot of buttons multi-state smart shape (Cap 9, not a responsive project). All the buttons perform the desired actions, but they sometimes remain in the rollover State even if the cursor is not over the button. The error seems to occur when you move the mouse quickly from one button to another without clicking. Is this a known issue? Does anyone have a solution or work around it? Thanks for any help!

    Kurt,

Looks like you may have discovered a bug.  I suggest that you connect this issue with Adobe.  I don't have a miracle solution that I can offer.  I think you are right that the problem is caused by the speed with which you access objects. The browser detects the mouseover event but seems to be missing the mouseout/mouseouthandler() event that follows immediately after.

This happens with other browsers?  You will find that it is just the IE who has this problem.

  • How to convert object multi-state group

    Hello

How can I convert a group in multistate object? Help, please.

    Thank you

    Maria addition

After inspecting the problem group, I must tell you, that the height of this group = 0 (when it is calculated as geometricBounds).

You cannot apply a height of '0' to the OSM.

    The problem group GeometricBounds:

    45.0541666666667,

    17.8809523809524,

    45.0541666666667,

    19.5178571428571

    VisibleBounds the problem group:

    45.0333333333333,

    17.8809523809524,

    45.075,

    19.5178571428571

So, rather than use the geometricBounds properties, we should use the visibleBounds properties to determine the size of ASM (his geometricBounds).

  • Create a slideshow inside a multi-state object

Hi, first of all I'm pretty new to DPS hope if this isn't a stupid question. I created an object multi-state for a picture show/hide effect. In the main report, I want to create a slide show, however when I select the objects I want to choose the State of object of slide show with her just to copy the State they are, rather than creating a new multistate with just images for slide show.

So I guess the question is is it possible to create a nested object of multi-state?

Hope that all of the senses.

    Thank you

Can Felipe - you put the script?

  • Buttons and objects multiple multi - State

    Hello

I'm curious to know whether something is possible. Basically I have a multi-state (named quarterbacks) object that contains some images. You can browse through these pictures through a slide show of two buttons (previous state/next State) system. Inside State 2, I wanted to add a button that when you click on it, accesses another object multi-state (called text) and would then be the text (which is my 2nd State in the text). Normally I double employment with the State of object and add some text in the same multi-state object, but since this is a slide show, I would not want the next button to access the same image with text. Sorry if this is a little confusing. Any help on this would be great, thanks in advance!

You cannot control a MSO go in another.

However, you can integrate a MSO in another State. Discover Bob

  • Text on the multi-state object disappears in Adobe Content Viewer

I use InDesign CS5 to build folios for a tablet device. I created a slide show using a multi-state object. Also, I placed the text on top of the top image to indicate that it is a slide show. When I go to the Overlay creator to see a preview of the page in the Adobe, the text on the slide show content viewer disappears. Why is this happening?

Guessing from your description, the text should be part of the first State of the ASM, and it isn't. You can add it to the first State via the MSO Panel.

  • version 8.0.2 of iOS on iPad Air, AutoPlay multi - State Object question

    Hello

I'm having a problem in which some objects multi-state value auto-play and stop finally State do not play in the Adobe Content Viewer (version 32.1.0) iOS on iPad running iOS 8.0.2. On the desktop, I work in an updated version of InDesign CC. Oddly, some objects multi-state (in the same articles) do work: both are looped MSO, but change the DCL of non-working (which consist of a container empty like State 1 and describes the text (no States have applied effects) to State 2) to the loop does not solve the problem.

I am at a total loss - I have tried to reconstruct the ASM, the reorganisation of States, change timer values, defining the DSO to loop, reverse order... but nothing works. There seems to be a question Content Viewer (version 32.1.0) iOS 8.0.2, IOS because WHO play as expected in the office and on iPad content viewer using earlier versions of the viewer of content on the version 8.0.2 of iOS and iOS 7.1.1 and iOS Content Viewer (version 32.1.0) running on iOS iOS 7.1.1.

In addition, after reading a folio in Adobe Content Viewer (version 32.1.0) on an iPad to Air and return to the display of the library, the settings gear icon disappears also. Typing in the box where the icon should be always displays the menu. This does not happen on a Mini iPad.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

  • Multi-state objects appear on the top

I'm knee-deep in my first iPad/Digital edition design. I have some objects multi-state containing buttons (to change the State on - click a grade side is that a less frustrating way to do this?) that are supposed to appear behind other objects. When I go to preview, he puts these objects on the other, by concealing the things that are supposed to be at the front. Layers seem not to matter, order of creation of objects seems not to matter and clearly the arrangement is not serious.

It is supposed to look like this (InDesign):

    Screen shot 2013-07-30 at 3.47.50 PM.png

The preview looks like this (Content Viewer):

    Screen shot 2013-07-30 at 3.49.21 PM.png

I moved this to the DPS forum.

Yes, the only thing which may exceed an interactive element is another interactive element. Create two State ESM with identical States set to play once, is the usual solution.

You cannot contol one MSO on the other. This is a limitation of InDesign.

  • Measures to honor the widget show/hide in new HR 2015 presentation of screen customization

I was happy to see the widget show/hide in the HR 2015 Azure Blue layout. I guess she calls the expansion/collapse of the content on a DHTML page. However, I did not lead to it! What is the correct procedure?

    1. Change the theme (default)] in the layout of the blue Azure.
    2. Select one of the text box divs (this is probably the question. Where should the inserted widget?)
    3. Select ' show/hide the double State' in the widgets menu.
    4. Save the project and generate output Responsive HTML5. He failed.

One of two things happens: either help system will not - launch loading graph is an infinite loop, or the system starts with a table of contents damaged. For example, the table of contents shows only the icons/no text content.

Thanks in advance for any help!

So that's how see you me Rick ;-)

The expand/collapse I created originally ended with the RH11.0.3. updated. He is always on my backlog to create an update for this. Just didn't come around it. (I know, after more than 6 months).

The best way is to a button or two buttons of the twisties/list script method drop-down. Add the script to the master page header and you'll have the expand/collapse in your topics. (Twisties and hide |) WvanWeelden.eu) I have the expand/collapse for the layout on the order book.

  • Interactive buttons under multi-state objects?

I have a multi-state object that changes state when a key is pressed. The object of several State is a superposition of the entire screen, showing additional information on the content of the button is. I have the set opacity so you can still see the buttons behind the object of several State. But you can also interact with buttons, even if the multi-state object is on the buttons. Is it possible to change this?

If you can see, you can interact with them. If you want to block put a button them in each State and have to go to the url with navto://nul

    Hi all

Im having a problem with Digital Publishing Suite text contained in an object of State Multi posting is not clear. The text appears blurred.

ASM is a pop up. The image has a smaller + which when you press on evokes a closing upward, with explanatory text. The problem is that the text appears blurred.

There are also some text on the page that is not in ASM and this text is strong and is displayed correctly.

  • Insertion of a button to close a multi state object

    Hi all

Have worked for centuries trying to close a State multi, joyless object to a button.

This is the process I followed, which I was hoping the consequences.

I have create a block of text, which is then cut and copied into a broader framework. This image is then set to "worthy framework to content.

This framework is also defined as a block of text scollable (Auto Detect, Hide bar, position to use the Document).

This frame is then copied with the narrow graphic and I chose the 'convert selection to a multi-state object. I have ensured that graphic close don't overlay not the text box.

State 2 then then made transparent and subject to State multi is set to "hidden so that triggered".

I double clicked on the close image within the Group and converted into a button. The button is then attributed to go to State 2.

Finally I fund a graph that is converted to a button that opens the 1 State of the multi state object.

But it does not work. There seems to be a copy of the State multi object generated during the above process and this ensures that the State multi object does not disappear when you click the close button.

I tried all kinds of ways to make this work, but without success.

Makes me mad and would appreciate really no work about being posted here.

    Thank you very much

    H

    What text? The button?

If so, don't convert it to a button. The buttons are still pixelated. Instead

just leave as native work and draw a no fill/no frame run above it

and convert that to a button.
