  I have three IMAP Hotmail accounts I can access via Thunderbird. Since yesterday, two of these accounts stopped download & sync subfolders that I created to manage clients, family and friends. All I have now are at the top level of Inbox and folder deleted. Not even sent, Outbox or junk folders, still less the ten subfolders to organize my email.

  The online version of Hotmail shows subfolders, but they are not downloading in Thunderbird as they were before yesterday. I did not any changes to my computer or e-mail accounts.

  What is a custom domain?
  Support for custom fields was arrested 18 months ago and the mail has been delivered yet.  With this new change, something is broken, and Microsoft has knowledge of it.  There is no eta on a fix

  There is a work around, but if I were you I would say that the writing is on the wall and move to office365 or your own host

  Add the address @outlook.com as an alias of your custom domain account.

  After 48 hours, you can use the address @outlook.com to configure the account by using IMAP.

  Unfortunately, the BB does that reflect what he sees on the server. I don't think it's possible to have the same e-mail account set up with two different settings, so you will need to delete the account, losing any email on the device. • After the upgrade to Windows 10, I can't send mail from my IMAP account

  Upgrade to Windows 10 last night. Make a backup on MozBackup beforehand and restored after the download. I see all my messages in my Roadrunner and Gmail IMAP accounts. I can receive messages from all three types of accounts, but I can't send emails from the IMAP account. I checked that I have the right selected outgoing server. Thus, when Thunderbird is trying to send a mail it it looks like for the server and there is no... you can navigate t goole, com using this machine and one web browser other than the one provided with windows 10.

  Research here shows that this is the case. The field of your shipment at all simply not exist in DNS.

  If you use ONLY to send and not calendar & contacts windows live mail (any version), you can configure to operate using IMAP/POP.  If you do not need to synchronize the calendar & contacts...
  It is an excellent replacement for Windows live mail which is free to try (up to 2 accounts) that BECAUSE of the work with the new outlook e-mail format called emclient.  There is also a paid version. You can either get here

  It works with Exchange, POP, IMAP and looks like Windows live mail.  Frankly, it's the first replacement I've seen that actually works.  I spent.
  They have their own support forums, a decent product and seem to be the only replacement for WLM that has the appearance of it.
  You can import all your windows live mail in emclient easily by doing a file > import > windows live mail.  This will import your current data of WLM in emclient

  1. that depends on what you mean by "import."

  If the account uses the IMAP protocol, Thunderbird will show you what is on the server. There is no need to "import" anything.

  POP is quite different. It will default to move all messages from the server down to Thunderbird and then delete them from the server. If you don't want to do it, start Thunderbird in offline mode and configure "Leave a copy of messages on the server" in the settings of the account in Thunderbird.

  2. I don't know with certainty how the/unread status is managed, but some experiences here show that Thunderbird keeps synched with the playback on the server status.   It looks like deleted an IMAP folder (Trash is a Thunderbird convention).

  I'm guessing that your mail is to be downloaded to a phone or other device and deleted on the server. The account you have with deleted folder is an IMAP account and synchronize deleted mail because it is where to put the other device.

  Hello I just got a new TouchPad and have updated the OS to the latest version. I try to set up multiple e-mail accounts and am having a problem with an IMAP account. I already put in place two POP accounts without any problems. But when I tried to set up a connection to the account of my work (IMAP) I wasn't able to do.   I have an iPod touch and I had no problem whether to set up my account to work with the native mail on this device reader and I do not know why the TouchPad also gives me a hard time.

  Sorry, that took me so long. I ended up having to install openssl in order to display the certificate, but once I did, the issue jumped immediately.

  There are 2 problems with your certificate

  1. It is self-signed (this isn't a problem, there's just one additional configuration step involved)
  2. He was assigned to the wrong domain. Right now, the certificate is awarded to "localhost". This is not the area in which your TouchPad uses to connect to the server that is why he makes the mistake of certificate

  To make this work, you need to create a self-signed certificate that uses the correct domain name (the CN value must be the same domain name that you have sent me in private message).

  I have a free LinkedIn account and Facebook accounts. No contact is listed for these entries in the Contact request. But there are invitations and communication listed in the hub on both accounts, i.e. the connection is configured correctly, IMO.

  I'm stuck. I don't see any contact under "e-mail", LinkedIn, and Facebook in the Contacts application. The only possible solution I see now is reboot my BB and start with putting in place. That's not much, but I want to save me a wrong, if there were an easy solution to this.

  It seems to me something is not connected, as your Gmail account is not configured to synchronize contacts.

  As perhaps they did once, but no more.

  I would say that you go to settings > accounts and delete your gmail account, restart the device and add this account again. You should see (and this varies with different variants of Gmail accounts) the ability to sync the contacts (and calendar).

  But lighten your local contacts to reproduce the gmail contacts, you'll also need clear all local contacts again, I hope it will work this time. Settings > accounts > tap the three points more > clear local Contacts.
