Hi I seem to have a problem trying to get AVG works when I download.

1. Once you get the error message?
2 have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
3. you have any other antivirus application installed on your computer?
 
I would suggest trying the following methods and check the status of the issue.
 
Method 1:
Keep the computer in a clean boot and check the status of the issue. If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem. Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service. After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7.

Note: Please go through step 3 KB to maintain the computer to a normal startup after you resolve the issue.
 
Method 2:
Uninstall and reinstall the AVG application.

    I don't know what are your specific references, when you say that the documents "tell us differently', but I think the best description/definition of"net service name"is located in the Setup Guide glossary. To quote:

    After the 15.0.1 update this afternoon on a machine 64 - bit Windows 7, I restarted Firefox.     Too bad. I restarted the computer and everything seems to be back to normal - firewall and the paths are now correct. Then. anyone having this problem - try to restart the machine. Never had that after a Firefox update before so don't think of him.

    I develop an applicationg using LabVIEW. But found some difficulty.

    If you use Application Builder to create your .exe and run several instances of the .exe, you can add AllowMultipleInstances = true .ini file in the same directory as the .exe file.

    Two of the three files are probably part of the malware infection and not the files infected. The third is probably the same details in this link:

    With Autoruns, you can deselect an item which disables startup, or you can click with the right button on an item, then remove it. If you clear the check box that you can check back for re - activate the element. It is an approach much safer than editing the registry and better than using msconfig. You will find the three points and they will have a description 'file is missing' against everyone. Your antivirus software has removed the files, but not the startup entries in the registry. All you need to do is delete the entry using Autoruns to eliminate the error messages.

    Another useful feature of the program is that you can click with the right button on an item and select search online to get information about the selected item.

    Well, I guess you had a virus and restored the computer via a Windows XP ghost image and now you're having trouble with AVG anti virus?

    Is it possible that the user account is damaged.

    Try to set a different user account and when / if / I hope that things work out well, remove the old user account.

    If I misinterpreted your assignment, then maybe the ghost of Windows XP image is also infected by a virus not allowing only not AVG to implement.

    I use Vista Home Premium.  I used to be able to use the remote desktop connection application, but all of a sudden, it stopped working.  When I try to run it I get this message:

    It seems that there are a few system files that have trouble.  One of them being mstsc.exe, I wish you find spyware or infection by the virus first, before you try the next step.  Please see the sticky thread in the security forum.  MVP offers some good advice how to remove these problems.

    If everything is clean, we will try a repair installation to replace the problem files and also to ensure that other system files are good.

    The 'repair' installation (upgrade on-site) will not affect your installed programs or data.  Just make sure that you are already connected to your computer when you start the installation.  Do not boot from the DVD.

    If the installation does not start automatically when you insert the DVD, run setup.exe from your DVD player.

    • When the Setup program starts and the install now screen, click install now.
    • Note When you receive the important Get updates for installation message, click go online.

    The configuration files of NOR is notorious for its slowness.  It is generally not sensitive because you normally just read small amounts of data, but as soon as it's large structures, it is very sensitive.  OpenG has a config INI palette that allows you to read or to write something else that the low level is these screws NOR and it shows because it can be very slow.

    The solution is not to use these configuration screws instead I highly recommend the read/write of MGI nothing.  MGI says the chain of analysis from scratch and therefore it is super fast.  You can install the tools of MGI using VI Package Manager.

    I have been using VMware workstation for awhile, but at work, we have been 'given' an ESX instance for development which access us via Vcenter.

    From the workstation, I am not so familiar with this environment, so I hope I write at least in an appropriate place ...

    Anyway, my question is that when I'm in Vcenter and go to the Configuration tab, then storage (left) to see what is different volumes, I * think * that it shows all files.  For example, if I have a VMDK, it is to show only the VMDK root and not the flat file.  I know that because we've created a guest with a 50 GB disc, and when we downloaded "the VMDK", we ended up with the smallest hard, as well as the largest flat hard-xxx.

    As I said I'm more use on my computer, where I have full access to the underlying files, so it takes some time to get used to this environment.

    The reason for the question is that I'm used to things like manually copying my base VMDK files when I create my own clones, but since with Vcenter, I can't 'see' all the vmdk, I kind of don't know what I'm doing deal with.

    I hope this makes sense?

    Difference between VMDK and Flat.VMDK.

    VMDK is a discriptor file mapped to raw disk (flat.vmdk).

    Flat.VMDK is a raw disk where all system data is backed up.

    For example, you create any disk on a virtual machine you will get 2 files one is vmdk and another is flat.vmdk.

    VMDK are visible when you go to the configuration and storage tab and browse the data store and will not be displayed it default flat.vmdk.

    But a raw disk, you can see when you connect console esxi ot via putty and go to vmfs\volumes\VM name\ flat.vmdk.

    When you download, you will be able to download vmdk and flat.vmdk. If you download only vmdk on the navigation data store.
