Signature of manufacturer Viewer for Android

I tried to post my first app on the Android Market using publishing Pro DPS & I'm unable to create certificates to sign my app in the DPS Viewer generator (version 2.1.130)

Whenever I click the .apk package download from Viewer Builder, I get an error pointing to something to go wrong with the certificate I created. The error I get is: Viewer Builder error: signed output file cannot created certificates may be invalid. To do this, download a file called unsigned - viewer.zip I guess I can't do anything with this unless it is signed.

I have read and followed everything that is produced in http://developer.Android.com/tools/publishing/app-signing.html to create the certificate.

I tried to create the certificate using the Flash and the Terminal on my mac running OS 10.7.4

My slips were built using the Viewer Version v22

Any help would be much appreciated.

Simon

Are what version of the Builder Viewer you? If it's 2.1.x and not 2.2, place Viewer Builder from the Applications folder to the trash, and download the most recent version of the dashboard. Then try again.

  • DPS Viewer for Android mobiles

Since the launch of our publication on the IPAD and the IPhone, we received many requests from customers to launch the publication on android devices.

After an investigation, most of the requests come from people with Samsung S2, S3 Samsung, Sumsung Note and Nexus 4 devices.

I did a lot of research in the best way to publish on mobile android forum, but everything I found was complicated workarounds that doesn't seem to work properly.

I would like to know what is the best way to target devices from my "renditions" ipad/iphone current. With the growing popoularity of android mobiles, this is becmoing more pressing than ever before.

Would really appriciate a direction, thanks

  • Cover previews and missing titles in the content viewer Adobe Android

We test a folio using the new adobe content viewer for Android. All previews cover are empty in our library, and there is no title. All you can see are the blue snipes with the lightning on each. Since we have 10 + folios in this id, he makes extremely difficutlt to test. Anyone else encounter this problem and know a fix?

We took a glance to this today. There is no image portrait cover associated with any one of the folios in the account. If there is no portrait cover provided that we can not show you add portrait covers, and then they'll show.

The same goes for the missing titles. The Android Viewer shows the Folio number under the cover, and that is empty on your slips.

  • How to view pdf files without having to download on firefox for android

I use a program of electronic medical records using Firefox for android on a Tablet Samsung Galaxy Pro 12.2. I need to view the pdf files of patients on the tablet. So far, the only way I've been able to do this is to download the file first. It would be more effective if I could just view the PDF on the Galaxy Tablet without having to download it. Is it possible to do this with Firefox for android? Thank you.

Adobe has never made a PDF for Android plugin. Which is what is needed to achieve the desired behavior. I have already cited the only option that comes closest.

The files are downloaded. Using a plugin browser does not prevent the data being stored locally on your computer.

  • The main menu 3dot icon is missing in ff26 for android. How to find this button?

    TECHNICAL DATA:
OS: Android v4. ? (do not know how to find the version)
Web browser: Firefox for Android v. 26

    PROBLEM:
Of what I read when looking for assistance, it is supposed to be an icon next to the bookmark icon (top right of the browser) which resembles vertical three points which, when clicked is supposed to display the main menu. On my screen there is no such icon for main menu at all anywhere on the screen. (If someone can put some instructions on how to show a screenshot in this thread, I could provide a).

    QUESTIONS RELATING TO THE:
1.) how can the menu icon main foeced appear?
2.) y at - it another way to access the main menu in the Android version of firefox if missing this icon "3 points"?

NOTE: subject: config seems to have been paralyzed in the Android version of firefox so that there seems to be no way to list all the settings such as once, as it was the fault discovered in the desktop version of firefox.

In my view, the icon to the left of the main button that looks a bit like a tray to reverse mail is the menu button.

  • PPTP VPN or IPSEC for Android and iPAD

Being new on the RV180 (and routers VPN besides) I had trouble getting a VPN's, supporting my iPad and Android devices. However, I understand that an IPSEC connection would be a safer sollution. Unfortunately I can't find a clear statement anywhere to do it.

I found descriptions/parameters in the different RV180 of the setting of the (few) in mobile platforms. So far not managed to get the installation program.

Little help to start would be great!

    Thank you very much.

    Ronald

    Hello Robert.

My name is Chris and I work at the Cisco Small Business Support Center.

The PPTP option will be much easier to install, and most devices have a built-in capability of PPTP.

The RV180 supports the IPSEC tunnels, but only for links from site to site or a remote user with the client software.  Some of the other features of our support SSL VPN connections, which would allow you to use the Cisco Anyconnect client available for android, but SSL VPN is not a characteristic of the RV180.

On my Android (Droid X running Android 2.3.4) phone he built in VPN, IPSEC and PPTP client.  Yours is probably as well, but if not there should be a few apps available.

If you decide to go with PPTP you can configure it like this on the RV180:

    1. go to the router admin page and click on VPN > IPsec > VPN users.

    2. check the box to enable the PPTP server.

    3. complete the range of internal addresses for your customers to use PPTP (192.168.1.200 - 192.168.1.210 for example)

    4. click on save.

    5. Once you click on save, you should be able to edit the table of parameters of VPN client.

    6. click on add, check enabled, enter a user name and password for the PPTP user to use and for the protocol type, select PPTP.

    7. click Save to add the user.

Once this is done, you should be able to go into the settings on your Android device and add a VPN for PPTP connection.   Fill in the same information you setup of the RV180 and you should be able to connect.

The server address will be the WAN IP of your RV180.

As far as IPSEC goes, the process is similar but a little more complicated.

    1. on the router admin page go to VPN > IPsec > Basic VPN configuration.

    2. choose the VPN client for peer type.

    3. name connection (it is used on the router)

    4. choose a pre-shared key to be used with this connection.

    5. for remote WAN IP address, you can leave the default remote.com

    6. for the Local gateway Type, you'll want to choose IP

    7. to Local WAN IP select IP and enter the IP address of the RV180 (WAN IP)

    8. for LAN Local, enter the local network for the RV180 ID (default is 192.168.1.0)

    9. to the Local LAN subnet mask enter 255.255.255.0

    10. click on save.

The steps above create a VPN IPSec tunnel using the default values of the router, which you can view by clicking on default settings under VPN > IPSEC.

Now you just set your phone.  On my phone, I have an option for Advanced IPSEC VPN, but yours may be different, or you may need to use an application like a customer, if your phone does not have built-in IPSEC VPN.

On my Droid X, I want to go wireless and networks, VPN settings, Advanced IPSEC VPN, add a new virtual private network.

My phone uses models of connection, so be sure to choose one that fits your tunnel on the RV180 parameters.

Enter the RV180 WAN IP address as the VPN server, as well as the pre-shared key, install you on the RV180.

Make sure that all connection settings that you have configured on the RV180.

You will also be asked for an internal subnet IP address, and for this, you must enter the Local LAN and subnet mask, that you configured on the RV180 in steps 8 and 9 above.

I wish I could be more specific, but it seems that there are several different menus and options depending on what Android phone using your.

I hope that this helps, but if not feel free to respond and I'll try to explain.

  • The scan for Android phone

I have an Android Sony Ericsson Arc S with HP ePrint installed app.

And see my Photosmart 7510 on the app.

I would like to know step by step how to scan a document or photo on the multifunctional and send it on the android phone?

According to your http://www.hp.com/united-states/consumer/digital_photography/print_better_photos/tips/iprint.html Web page, it is possible:

Here are some of the things that you can do this by using the HP ePrint home & Biz application:

    • Your compatible printer Wi - Fi scan and save, view or print from your mobile device.

    Thank you

    ARPcPro,

Unfortunately to sweep of your printer to the HP ePrint application home & Biz is not an option for Android devices.

If you take a look at this web page:

    http://WWW8.HP.com/us/en/products/smart-phones-handhelds-calculators/mobile-apps/app_details.HTML?app=TCM:245 - 1044333 & platform = tcm:245 - 1044335

    Here, he States:

    • Your compatible printer Wi - Fi scan and save, view or print from your device iOS or Symbian mobile. (Your mobile and your printer must be on the same Wi - Fi network).

Sorry for the misinformation on the page that you have linked to me. I'll go and see if I can get corrected.

I don't know that I remember to add text in a file to origianlly make it work, but now I am unable to find the information again.

Branched out in a new discussion, it was originally a response to a message that is unrelated.

We no longer support the preview for Android devices from the desktop. It has not been supported for almost two years.
