  If you still encounter this problem, please try the following troubleshooting steps.

  Solution 1: Sign out of Lightroom 5.5 and then connect back with your Adobe ID

  • Select Replace owner of subcontainers and objects. Click on apply and then click OK.
  • Click the permissions tab, and then click on change permissions.
  • Select Replace all permissions of child object with permissions inheritable of this object. Click OK, click Yes.
  • Click OK, and then click OK in the Windows Security dialog box. Click OK to close the advanced security settings dialog box.

  Suggestion 2: Rename the SLCache folder and relaunch Lightroom 5.5

  You can use creative cloud all products on 2 computers at the same time. So just install it on any other device.

• 1 PC; 2 accounts; first of all for Photoshop and Lightroom and secondly for Illustrator - is it possible

  Hello and welcome to all the magicians using Adobe CC.

  Plan complete Adobe CC is too expensive for me and I did not need all the great apps.

  I only use Photoshop and Illustrator.

  Is it possible to use on a PC:

  (1) there are no 1 - with subscriptions to Photoshop and Lightroom (plan of photographers)

  (2) account No 2 - with unique app don't plan for Illustrator

  they will work at the same time (open some file in Illustrator and a few photos in Photoshop)?

  I try to look for an answer to my question. I found simillar, but not the same thing.

  If there is a chance, someone could help me I would be gratefull.

  I don't think that separate accounts can be used on the same machine, because they involve the same CC application - a single account can be signed.  But there is no reason that an account cannot be used for multiple subscriptions.  You should be able to acquire two subscriptions using the same account.

  I am a hobby photographer (has a Nikon D750) and I am interested in buying an iMac 27 inches 5 k for Lightroom and Photoshop. What configuration should I I look for reasonable (works smoothly 95% of the time) performance? Usually I update every 3-4 years max, so I want to be a bit future proof without excessive spending that I don't know that there is something even better in 2018-2019. I currently own a 2011 basic configuration end 13 inch, Macbook Pro and other than the magnificent 5 k screen, it's only the performance of Photoshop and Lightroom that are really convince me to level because it is still a great everyday task computer.

  I get the U44M1I200 error when I try to update CC Photoshop and Lightroom CC on my desktop computer. The update went well on my laptop, which runs the same level of security Norton like this, Norton probably isn't the issue.

  Yes, I see, "similar question already asked", but I have tried the suggestions for this error that I have seen in other threads, and all they have done is screw things even more. Now just being run-error Photoshop with an error ' could not load generator ", too. It's ridiculous!

  RANT OF ADOBE:

  I'm not a happy camper, Adobe! I finally decided to try Photoshop after 20 years of use of Corel and the place I had NOTHING with Adobe and Photoshop and CC App Manager software trouble. Adobe sales guy (probably in India or somewhere similar) lied to me when I bought it - says there are no deals available for students, and two weeks later I find that there is something out there for the students. The person (probably also in India or elsewhere) I said on this subject, said that she could not help me. I asked to be put in contact with a supervisor and TWO WEEKS later, I got a canned e-mail, saying that if I wanted the deal to the student, they would 'let me' uninstall what I had bought, then they have to pay back me and then Id have to buy the kit of the student. Was not worth my time to do all this.

  I'm quite impressed with it, either. The brush tools etc and most of the filters in Corel was at least as good, if not better. Adobe Camera Raw Filter is really nice - I like it, but the work stopped when I installed this last updated on my laptop. I don't yet know if it will work on this computer, because the update did not work even.

  And you guys cannot not even came with a toolbar that handles tasks such as open, close, etc. Undo like all other Windows applications? It's completely LAME. He was back to Windows 3.1, or even BACK here? You need to hire some programmers who know how to program a Windows application, Adobe.

• SUrface 4 pro for photoshop and lightroom: working well?

  . I am a photographer for pictures allround (Macro, food, Church ecc...) and I used the retina with computer ipad mini 16.4 "sony laptop.

  The problem is just my beginning of notebook to be large for the ride, and I use the Tablet as long as the laptop.

  With Tablet, I use mobile versions of photoshop/lightroom, but I can't work 100% because they have very limited tools (Ad example lightroom can't the lens profiles or distortions difficulty setting).

  Now, I think buying new surface pro 4 (I5 or i7 that I don't know) for work with photoshop and lightroom to 100% with a light machine.

  MY work is:

  Download files camera RAWS, I make them some easy fix (some contrast, histogram, aim profiles) and I will pubblish with whatsapp, facebook, or other.

  I will also show the final shots to my consumers and tablet work, better than a laptop.

  Do you know if the surface PRo4 is right for my job? Is better i7 or i5 version?

  Cc 2014will Photoshop run well on the surface 4 pro, however I do not think that you will be able to use its user interface using the native resolution of 264ppi using CC 2 x 2014 UI becomes like an old IBM 15 "IPS LCD display 4:3 aspect ratio Think 1600 x 1200px 133ppi resolution.  CC2014 2xUI using the pro 4 resolution surface becomes a screen resolution 132ppi have a 3:2 aspect ratio have logically 1368px by 912px less then the old IBM ThinkPad. On-screen keyboards do not have hack it for shortcuts.
