Silverlight 5 on Netflix not compatible with my operating system

My OS (Mac 10.4.11) is not compatible with the latest version of Silverlight. Continuous Netflix invites me to install the new Silverlight 5 until I can watch streaming video. Is there a way to bypass this upgrade so that I can continue to watch Netflix on this computer?
