  • Since the update to version 10, Firefox inserts are no longer saved passwords. How can I fix?

Password Manager remembers my passwords, but don't insert them at the newspaper in time. This started after updating to version 10. You will be prompted to save the new password, it will not insert the 'old'.

    Hey Patty1515,

Have you looked at the section of the Base names of users and passwords are not saved ? There are lots of good information in there.

If it's only a particular site, you experience problems with, you can also delete cookies from this site in order to make the site you not forget if you have created a remember me cookie by visiting to Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies" that there could be a "don't remember" cookie for this site.

    Hope this helps!

  • Since the update to version 8.0.1 many Web sites have lost their identity icon.

In the address bar and bookmarks, many web sites have lost their identity icon in Firefox 8.0.1 (that were there before). Now the cursor over the area of the icon reveals a message stating "this site does not provide identity information. But this message is also up by placing the cursor on a with an icon. Some sites have the icon in the bookmarks, but it does not show in the address bar. I found that this does not happen on Vista laptop, only on the Windows 7 desktop.

Checking all my favorites icons, I found that some are still there AND by revisiting SOME sites, I restored the icon from the list of bookmarks.

It did not work with each other, but some sites don't have a favicon.ico img on all their pages.

Still a few sites that I KNOW has icons before are not displayed to the top.

  • Since the update to version 27.0b2 on Win8.1 x 64 my buttons extension (on my address bar) keep changing positions whenever I start Fx.

As I said, version 27.0b1 worked very well. But once I upgraded to 27.0b2, the icons of the extension (buttons) on my address bar would automatically change position and sometimes even go MIA! (will not be displayed even)! Whenever I have customize and drag the icons in position, it stays that way until I close Fx and then restart. Then the same problem occurs.

This exact behavior also happens with the 28 all night (Australis) that I have on another PC. Which affected the devs with this update from 27.0b2? It's driving me crazy. Can someone please help?

On my system: Win 8.1 (64-bit). Only the profile of Fx (default). I have not recently installed any new plugins or extensions.

Best is to check the problems caused by a corrupted in such cases localstore.rdf file.

Note that the installation of the toolbar is maintained in a pref (browser.uiCustomization.state) Australis.

Note that Aurora is currently Firefox 28.0a2 and the Nightly build with 29.0a1 Australis.

Australis is very different from that of the previous layout of the toolbar and many extensions will get broken.

Things can change at any time when the new land code, so be prepared to learn more (perhaps unpleasant) surprises.

  • Since the update to version 12, I found that this version was no longer a secure browser.

Following the suggestion of your troubleshooting guide, I changed my home page, the warnings have stopped; but most websites load not properly, or not at all.

  • Since the update to version 24, the address bar is useless. Not yet about: config does nothing. No URL is accessible by typing in the address bar.

Start in safe mode - no effect
Cannot reach anywhere by using about: config. Firefox health report is completely empty.

It is quite possible that a problem gets migrated to a new profile via reset in case the migration includes data that is causing problems (cookies, data from bookmarks and history stored in places.sqlite).

When you reset Firefox and a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, data form) are automatically imported and the current profile folder will be moved on the desktop (old data of Firefox).

It is possible to recover more data from the old profile, but be careful not to copy the files corrupted to avoid transporting on the problem.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

    • Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: opens showing the file

It is not usually necessary to create an exception for the certificates.

Possible causes are that a server does not send the full (intermediate) certificate chain or self signed certificates.

The use of the battery has increased since the update to ios 10. Also, why can not disable the voice command. It's the most boring on the new update.

Depending on what you mean by "voice command", either:

Settings / general / accessibility / VoiceOver / OFF, or

    Settings / Siri / OFF

As for your use of the battery, you can check what app pulls most of its use in the settings / battery.  A new version of the app is sometimes problematic, not necessarily iOS or iPhone.  If you see a unusual % of use of a particular application, or force-to leave it removal/reinstalling it or remove it until an update comes.  If anything seems unusual, it might be a problematic installation of iOS, in which case, you could backup your iPhone and restore it:

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

Test in safe mode. Same problem?

After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.

Since the update to iTunes 12.4.1.6 I don't see my purchased music. When I try to import my old playlists I get a message saying that the library is not a valid iTunes library. Thus, thousands of songs and hundreds of films and I can't see or play one. I see my movie library where it is stored on an external hard drive, but my music was on my iMac.

Where all the playlists gone and why didn't appear my entire music library? I checked the preferences and iTunes points to the correct folder, BUT only my music purchased appears...

Same thing happened to me. I tried to replace iTunesLibrary.itl with an older copy, but that has not worked. Then I tried to return a version by resetting the Time Machine's iTunes app, but it would allow me to edit or delete iTunes because it is part of Mac OS X.

So, I can not sync my iPad or iPhone, update all apps or find my music, that is, the course of the odf, still on my hard drive. ITunes just can't see the library.
