  When you have what you want to save the selected PDF file, make sure that you press properties, and set the resolution in the settings.  PDF files themselves have quality settings, (print quality, Web quality etc) then make sure that you have the right to a game if you plan to use the "print" function to save in PDF format.

  Whenever I type the letter "T", while sending an email, it causes my computer to open a new tab/page.

  It's on a laptop? It is the touchpad at the origin of the problem. Go to the properties of the touchpad and disable the zoom in/out function. Basically, the left side of the touchpad is configured as the right side, except instead of scrolling up and down, it is set to follow up to zoom in and zoom out.   I can't use my desktop pc, because this message appeared when I started my pc since the closure.  Help, please!   I'm not very computer savey.

  Uninstall the toolbar Ask and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask and Firefox toolbar that prevents the opening of new tabs.

  Hi ChrisYeomans, a change has been noted in other threads on google.co.uk

  The http URL now automatically redirects to https. Since you did not specify the Protocol in your newtab.url setting, Firefox attempts http and it is immediately redirected to the https domain. You should be able to see this happen unless your computer is much faster than mine.

  Firefox does not handle this redirect elegantly - the URL in the address bar is not enabled unless you click a different tab, and then click back.

  To work around the problem, update your newtab.url to the URL https://www.google.co.uk/ full

  Hi, type Subject: config in the address bar, press ENTER, accept the warning, scroll to browser.newtab.url and specify "Value" Subject: newtab (right-click to change, taking care of not to change what anyone else).

  EDIT. I wiped out the config to restore it piece by piece.
