  If you are a current monthly pro customer, that nothing changes in March or may. I don't know how much more clear, I can be. If you are already a customer monthly pro that nothing changes. You continue to pay every month, continue to buy achievements and continue to have the Pro level features DPS (no windows customized, for example).

  If I have a paid only edition DPS app on the App Store, Adobe takes a cut of each download as it does whenever a user downloads a folio in a Multi Folio paid app?

  Or is it Adobe only take their commission on multiple Pro and Enterprise folio applications, which means that I can Bank all profits made from app downloads on an application unique edition other than apples commissions DPS?

• updated single edition existing application

  I'm trying to update my existing ipad app.  I had a single edition for about 5 months.  I have the same problem as BT219 in this thread:http://forums.adobe.com/message/6138834#6138834.  I deleted the folio existing, made a new with the same name and updated the article.  I click on create new app in folio Builder and he opens the DPS generator.  I click on the existing application and click on modify.  I reload all the information and download the new developer API.  I have load to my ipad, and it's article with updated icons.

  If you use a serial number, you need to contact technical support to reset for you so that you can update the application.

  Two years ago, we have submitted an application using InDesign and a single edition. Since iOS7 the app is no longer visible on iPad, probably because a new version of Xcode is necessary. Can I re-use my serial number unique edition to republish my application? Or is there an easier solution?

  You posted the app 2 years there so the serial number is already expired.

  In this case, or you can buy new serial number unique edition DPS in order to update app or purchase membership creative cloud where you can create applications unlimited only question.

  Hey Phillipe,

  You must rebuild your application using the App DPS constructor if you want to change the application type, it does not change automatically when you switch to Professional Edition. Then, you will also need to send it back to the App Store.

  Professional Edition allows you to create an app for iPad and iPhone. The type of application depends on the type of content you offer with your App several versions of the same folio to different devices are known as "rendition". You must choose "Multi Folio" to it. If you want to allow your readers to subscribe to your publication, you need to select 'Multi sheet with iTunes subscription.

  Your second question can be answered globally in a post on the forum since it is just too much.   I have just been told by some readers as soon as they have updated to iOS 8, past apps that I published - single editions, no multi-folio for iPad - just crash. They open and crash as soon as you highlight, or plant immediately.

  What is going on? Is this an update that needs to come out of Adobe and is yet to happen?

  You need rebuild your applications and send them back to Apple. We made a change for the Viewer on 19 September to solve problems in unique edition applications that result from iOS8.

  My client publishes a quarterly magazine of the industry. I recently sold them on the idea of a digital subscription using DPS Pro version. They are eager to launch the first one before Christmas, but the $600 p/m price tag is a small deterrent. So I have proposed the creation of the first edition with simple editing DPS (intending to migrate in the newsstand with future editions of next year). Have I reason to take this path? Apple will not accept a mag style app outside booth? I read Bob Levine's recent article on how to improve your chances of being accepted that I'll go with, but we need to avoid using the word store in masthead for this first? So many questions.   You can try, but the review process for a simple editing application is much more

  rigorous in the measure of the content to a folio multi application.

  Conversion of a multi folio kiosk application... would probably be easier to

  You pay nothing more at Adobe.

• Impossible to update single app edition DPS

  I created an app as a result of this process:

  1. InDesign file created. Folio added overlays.
  2. Open the document added as Article new folio.
  3. Folio builder Panel, clicked on create App which then opened the DPS App Builder.
  4. Created the App in the DPS App Builder.
  5. Activate the application with a single user license.

  Now, I need to update the application. I don't have the folio update option in the DPS App Builder. So I found this http://help.adobe.com/en_US/ppcompdoc/Step_by_step_guide_to_dps_se.pdf which says that I can create a new application and delete the other, but:

  1. I can't remove the active application
  2. I can not activate a new application, because the license is in use

  How can I update the application using the single use license we bought?

  You can use the serial number only once. If you need to update your application, contact Adobe technical support and ask them to reset the serial number.

  In addition, if you have a subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, you can use this account ID to update or create an unlimited number of simple editing of the applications for the iPad. A CC license is more cost-effective than purchasing a license unique, easier to use and more versatile.

  One of the reasons is that the download in the Google game limit is limited to 50 MB without the extension files. DPS unique edition apps are built in simple applications that need space and DPS unique edition is designed for the iPad. There may be a DPS editing simple for Android launch in the future.
