To search only within the playlist is displayed, make sure that "entire library of research" is not selected, as shown below.  If it contains a check mark, click to remove.

  • Unable to connect to the internet due to lack of radio wireless button

I'm using a Thinkpad Edge 11 and I just updated the BIOS utility (don't know even why I did it in the first place) using this link: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS014926#version

I checked the BIOs version and it corresponds to my laptop (86ET31WW (1.15))

But now I can't connect to the internet. I tried troubleshooting my wireless connections and he told me to go on my "wireless capability" on my laptop. I guess that it is a switch that can turn my wireless on and outside, but the model of laptop I don't have all this button.

I installed the program of dial-up connections, but it also tells me to go on a button on my laptop.

I already checked my BIOS Setup and the Wireless Watch activated it.

I feel like I could have downloaded the wrong BIOS update, but I don't know how to uninstall or cancel it. Could anyone refer me to another update of the BIOS I should use please? or any other method, so I can turn on my internet connection? I am very inexperienced with computers... any help would be appreciated.

  • iTunes crashes if its wifi network does not have access to the internet

    Hi all.

I'm running a 13 "mac book pro with OS X El Capitan.

I have a very specific problem of iTunes which is really bugging me.  I'm a pro saxophone player and part of my job is performed as a soloist with playbacks on my mac.  To avoid having to walk to the mac to start the track to accompany each song, I use a tablet on a stand that I can place anywhere in the room.  I've set up a router next to the mac that the mac and the tablet of connect to, and I run "retune" on the Tablet (I think it's that his name) which is a wifi iTunes remotely.  Installation is really smart cos he allows me to choose new avenues of selection from anywhere in the room instead of walking back and forwards to the mac every time.

The problem I have is that sometimes maybe (1 to 5 times), I have a real problem from iTunes when the mac is connected to a wifi network that has no real internet connection.  I'm sure that iTunes detects wifi connection and then tries to access the internet to connect with the store.  When he is not in the store it just crashes and I get the spinning wheel of death.  Most of the time, I can simply restart the program several times and finally he decided to play ball, but it's a real pain.  And I did a concert yesterday where he would not have enough, no matter what I did.  If I had no choice but to turn off the router and keep walking to the mac for each song.

I can't find a setting anywhere on iTunes that can disable the connection to the store and I really am stuck.

I also tried alternative programs (I used Clementine briefly but I just found it too flakey to be invoked) and so I am open to others suggests.  But I need a player who has a remote app that I can use on my tablet.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I use an older version of iTunes and in the preferences a lot, I can disable Store, Radio, sharing services, probably genius if I got it. Check all your preferences settings including those you think don't matter such as parental preferences (this is where the store is hidden on mine).  Realize also that iTunes has turned into a simple multimedia player to a 75% of sales and marketing as well as the do-it-all tool (aka bloatware) try too many at once and developers can't even imagine someone (i.e. the daily target user) use it without Internet.  Add on that you try to use an application to control iTunes and something like that is likely to misbehave, willy nilly whenever Apple launches an update.

Don't forget with wi - fi you are subject to interfering signals other wi - fi services in the region or the stage equipment.

  • Tecra M2 - not connecting to the internet via WLan and Win 2000

Recently got Tecra M2 working under windows 2000 after the help of this forum. - jarviei post.
I had a problem with the Intel pro 2200bg Intel wireless card type.
The unit was able to provide info when right clicking the device in Device Manager, a report of the "State of the unspecified device" or similar has been posted.

I removed the drivers and used an older version that cured this problem.
    To driverguide.com: intel_proset_9020tic_97904.zip
But I can still access internet t.

I can connect to the router wirelessly with the connectivity of 100% but that s where it stops. I use the wireless LAN hard wire disconnected.

Using the Toshiba connectivity doctor using wire hard watch my laptop connect to the router - it shows as a hub/bridge and then connection goes ot to the internet.
When I use the wireless radio icons show the laptop to the router but no internet connection.
The router shows as an ad-hoc connection, almost as if he sees it as another pc.

How and where can I set the machine to tell him to serve as a gateway/router to the internet in the wireless?

Thanks in advance to all who help.

  • Battery Bluetooth v.7.00.10 - re-login to the Internet using Nokia E71

    Hi all

to connect to Internet via Bluetooth, I use a pair of modem Toshiba Satellite U300-130 and Nokia E71.

    I noticed the following bug:
If I turn off the Bluetooth radio on both devices after finishing Internet session, so I can't install Internet connection later - the next time I turn on Bluetooth radio for both devices and try to connect to the Internet via the "Settings Bluetooth" system issues a message "connection settings are not complete.
The reason is that all the numbering to Bluetooth connection settings are seems to be erased (phone number, login, password).
Retype this data does not help to solve the problem.

More re-login to the Internet is possible only after reloading of Nokia.
It seems to me that this is a bug of Toshiba or the Nokia Software.

Has anyone had the same problem?
    All entries are welcome.

    Pavel

    > Still re-login to the Internet is only possible after reloading of Nokia
You said that the internet connection is possible after the mobile phone has been reloaded
I think that it s a question of nokia with BT stack problem because if this problem could be linked to the BT stack then the connection would not work same phone and software has been reloaded.
Maybe you should take a look at the Nokia page for more details or proposals of solution

A Comcast tech thought there could be something in the computer that will be put into market (radio switch). I also tried to replace the ethernet cord, computer is wired. Frustrated, Mjs58

    Hello @mjs58,

I understand that you are not able to connect to your wired network, and I'd love to help you!

To re - establish a coherent link between your computer and the network, I recommend later in this document on the Troubleshooting Wired Home networks (Windows 7). This should help to run a diagnostic on your system using the network and Internet troubleshooting, as well as measures to maintain your system on the cable network.

In addition, I suggest also follows the steps below to ensure that your power management settings do not interfere with your network connection:

    1. open DEVICE MANAGER
    2. open the NETWORK CARDS
    3. right click on the WiFi adapter for the pc and left click on PROPERTIES
    4. click on POWER up.
    5. remove the check mark beside : ALLOW the COMPUTER TO TURN THIS DEVICE SAVE START STOP
    6. click on OK
    7. close DEVICE MANAGER and test.

  • Network using the internet key to Rogers

I just high speed internet with Rogers internet key (uses cell signal) and it works fine. I went and bought a WRT110 so I could set up a home network, but I never considered that the router wants to be connected to a modem (which I do not have because it's just a small USB key). I know there is a way to put in place the internet sharing with this router but don't know how. I would also be also if possible the ability to share files. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sharing Internet can be done, but its not sure if it will work with your type of connection or not.

Connect the USB key to your computer, and then connect the Ethernet cable from your computer to the Internet Port Linksys router, you need to connect one of your computer to the Ethernet Port of the router, you can access the router configuration page and make the changes to this topic.

Click here how to enable ICS.

Once you enable ICS, then go to the computer that is connected to the Ethernet Port of the router and check if you are able to browse Internet. If you are able to browse the internet on your computer, on the same computer, you need to connect to your router and make the changes of no thread on this, so that your wireless computer can go online via the router wireless.

Open an Internet Explorer browser on your computer (desktop) wired page. In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press ENTER... Let the empty user name & password use admin lowercase...
For wireless settings, follow these steps: -.
    Click on the Wireless tab
-Here, select manual configuration... Wireless network mode must be mixed...
-Provide a unique name in the name box of the wireless network (SSID) in order to differentiate your network from your network of neighbors...

-Set the Standard - 20 MHz Radio band and change the Standard channel to 11-2, 462 GHz... Wireless SSID broadcast should be enabled and then click on save settings...
Please take note of the name of the wireless network (SSID) because it's the network identifier...
    For wireless security: -.
Click the sub-tab under wireless > Wireless Security...
Change the mode of WEP wireless security, encryption must be 64-bit. Let the empty password, do not type in anything...
Under type of WEP Key 1 in all 10 numbers please (numbers only and no mailbox for example: your 10-digit phone number) and click on save settings...
Please note the 1 WEP key as it comes to the security key for the wireless network...

    Click the settings advanced wireless
Change the interval of tag to 75 > change the Fragmentation threshold to 2304, change the RTS threshold to 2304 > click 'save settings '...
Now let's see if you can locate your wireless network and try to connect...

  • New Toshiba wireless turns off the Internet (by Linksys WRT110)

I "ORDERED" a new Toshiba A660 (custom) yesterday. We have a DSL with Motorola modem and Cisco Linksys WRT110 router with a Cat5 connection.  For a brief period the Toshiba could access the Internet through the radio (I registered the computer and the Norton AntiVirus). Subsequently, I have 'enabled' or authorized the self-install Toshiba Bluetooth (built in, but, it seems, are not not in Device Manager).

Before the afternoon was over, I found that the Toshiba, with WiFi antenna 'on' effectively killed my Internet connection.  My Dell, which has been wired through the Cisco could not access the Internet; my Mac which works wirelessly, could not access the Internet.  When I turn antenna Toshiba wireless Internet access on the other two computers is restored within 45-60 seconds. This situation persisted after a 'Factory restore' procedure this morning, where the Toshiba killed our Internet access during or shortly after the part "desktop configuration" of restoring an hour.

Another call to and recall, Toshiba technical support gave rise to suggestions 1) I want to see if my computer breaks down someone of another Internet connection and 2) it must be Cisco.

The Toshiba behaves itself when it is connected to the Cisco via Cat5 (as long as the wireless antenna is not enabled).

For example, Cisco, do I need an upgrade of the router to prevent the Toshiba to kill my Internet connection?

    Pat (and James)

If your new computer is running windows 7, disable IPv6 under two adapters Wi-wired and LAN properties.  Restart the computer and you connect again.

  • When connecting with an Android phone through Verizon for attaching to the internet, receive the message "Microsoft (C) registry of Windows has stopped working".

twice now that I got "Microsoft (C) registry of Windows has stopped working". Looking for online solutions, it tells me to update... and yet my Windows Update is underway. What is going on??

I am traveling and using my Android phone by Verizon to tie to the internet... This could be the cause?

    Hi BetheForcia,

Exactly when you receive this error message?

Usually, this can happen due to data execution prevention.

In order to diagnose the problem, you can check in the event viewer to determine the cause of the error and after return with details of the event viewer.

What are the information in event logs? (Event Viewer)

You can try to add it in the exception for the prevention of execution of data and check that it works.

    a. go to Start, Control Panel and click on System.
    b. now, click on the Advanced tab, and under performance, click settings.
    c. click on Data Execution Prevention , and then select the Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select: radio button.
    d. now click on the Add button and navigate to C:\Windows\System32 and choose the regsvr32.exe file. When you receive the message indicating it could make your computer becomes vulnerable to attack and unprotected, simply click OK to continue.
    e. click OK , and then click OK to exit

    Hope the helps of information.

Please post back and we do know.
