  Looks like you somehow accidentally active the option print to file in the Advanced Options print dialogue. Uncheck that and this problem should go away.

  You will need to find a forum for MS Word, since it is the software you are trying to manipulate in the present.  If you think that the treatment/creation of the PDF file plays a role, then you should ask in the forum for the software that you use to create the PDF file.

  Download a pdf file, the file name contains a space in the middle of the file. The name showing on the 'Save' popup is first letters up to space. Works fine on IE8. For example, a file named "old snail_12345.pdf" would show only 'old' (ignore the "s"). This is on Firefox 30.0, WinXP Pro.

  Apparently, there is an extension to work around this problem. I have not tried myself. See:

  Updated my iMac and iPad mini to the latest OS x and iOS.

  Launch iBooks on iPad mini and short all went PDFs.

  mini iPad is connected to iTunes, see the tab "books", and in the PDF section, there is NO single PDF.

  Start and check the app iBooks on iMac (office), all the PDF files are there.

  So he seems that office application iBooks PDF files is somehow not appearing within iTunes, so no PDF to synchronize in mini iPad.

  I create documents in Indesign, then export as PDF to be placed on the web, but I had problems with the documents the last week or so. specifically, if I create a document A4 landscape, Chrome displays only the first page, it does not scroll.

  Strangely, if I turn the page it "reveals" the rest of the document and then allows me to scroll through it.

  I tried different sizes page and directions and strangely this SINGLE button A4 landscape.

  PDF files display well in all other browsers.

  To eliminate the problems, the same problem occurs when I create a PDF from MS Word (so it is not a question of Indesign)

  and I don't have a problem when I create a PDF using an another PDF maker (so not a problem with Chrome)

  When I inspect the code to get a troublesome PDF, I see there is a div called 'sizer' id which is recognizing only the size of the first page and not the entire document, as it does on a PDF file that appear correctly.

  When I change the size within the div tag, the scroll bar appears, but still only the first page is visible (even if the scroll bar moves).

  I'm not a developer, but perhaps it could be useful for someone who can investigate.

  The Chrome browser does not use PDF viewer from Adobe plugin (installed via the free Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat software) more. Chrome developers begins to block access of a certain type (the type among other Adobe PDF viewer uses) plug-ins a few years ago. This means that you're stuck with the built-in Viewer that comes with Chrome. It is a problem of Chrome, even if some PDF files trigger this problem. Because it is the viewer of PDF of Chrome, something that will not is a problem of Chrome.

  The only thing you can do (outside this reporting for developers of Chrome) is to ask your users to not open the PDF in Chrome, but rather download it and then open it with Acrobat or Reader for free.

  There are ways to test if a PDF file is open in a viewer of PDF from Adobe and otherwise displays a page with information about how to open the file in Acrobat or Reader. It is a combination of JavaScript, form fields or PDF layers.

  4. wait for the reader for PDF optimizes my file

  You can avoid the steps when you disable the safe_mode in Acrobat Reader preferences:

  Change the font used in the Excel table to something else on your machine. Right-click on the graph, and then select Format chart area. Go to fonts (bottom) Terminal and change to Calibri (body theme) [or landing he says] to something like Arial. Then copy and paste the chart.

  What is your version of reader?  What exactly are you trying to do?

  Treatment of very large documents can take a long time and let the process as "not responding".  Observe if the process is using CPU and I/O, to which cases you just wait a few hours.

  I have recently switched to Firefox to Google Chrome, and I find that I can't open all PDFs from the web in some way in Firefox. I can't download them and open them in Adobe Reader and I can't preview them in Firefox, or I can use the plugin from Adobe. Whenever I have an amendment to the settings to try to resolve this problem, change never allows me to view the pdf file, and the setting reverts to the previous setting after the browser is restarted.   I use an adobe download add-on, 3.0.0.2, and I have disabled. Now, I can actually open pdf files in my browser shows a preview, or download them as I see fit. Thank you!

  You may need to go to the comment pane and right-click on the annotation "Highlight text" and choose "Properties of the tool by default".
