Site Web HTML - jumping around the screen, have not seen this before.

I just uploaded a site.

www.surveyplan.com.au. It consists of base tables that are jumping around when you click on the links. I put all the tables to either 100% or by the size in pixels and in any event is not yet solve the problem. Seems to be worse on a small screen... what a pain in the *!

Any help appreciated.

Indeed, there is a problem with the models of DW and IE, the entire page is redesigned which causes some flickering (Firefox should not have this problem with your pages). There is a kind of solution for this. It is not a beautiful, but it can work for you.

You can add a few metatags just below the other in the head meta tag:

It results in a smooth transition and will reduce the flickering. I searched a few months there are better solutions but couldn't find them, so I always use these

    Hello

    When I type in MS Word or OpenOffice or any other text box on a Web site for example flushing prompt that identifies where the next word/character must be placed around the screen jumps.

    So when I type a line of text I then start another line below and then without reason, that the text cursor jumps to the top line. This inserts text in the wrong place, which is incredibly annoying!

    ASUS uses tactile keys, built by the Synaptics for most laptops, so you should have a few options for sensitivity in your mouse control panel.  Look here:

    1. Type 'mouse' in your Start menu to find and open the properties of the mouse.
    2. On the Hardware tab, select your touchpad device from the list.
    3. Click Properties to open the touchpad settings.
    Note that some Asus "netbooks" have keys to touch mutli-touch capable of handling 2 fingers, as "pinch to zoom".  They have no sensitivity adjustment.  In fact, I used an Asus netbook like that and it doesn't even have a switch for the touchpad, and I found it so senstive and boring that I returned it to the store.
    I'm sorry to say, but you might have to do the same, if you are not satisfied with the product.  There is only so much that Microsoft has control over, and that's something that only manufacturers can do anything on.

    Hi all

    I would like to add my 2 cents to the conversation.  I have an ASUS G73S MS Windows 7 Professional. It has a Synaptics touchpad and came with standard Synaptics software and the update of Scrybe to allow all the controls really fancies as pinch and 2 fingers to scroll. I have 8 GB of ram and a processor I7. So, it shouldn't be a question about background programs steal resources.

    I have this same problem cursor jumping, and he does the same typing this simple message of a real pain.  I also did a bit of research on this problem.  Maybe I have traced for some, the problem date back as far as from 2008 to 2003. It occurred in the Mac and it is apparently common in the PC, it seems to be a universal problem.

    Reasons/solutions vary:

    programs background too consume some resources or remove unnecessary programs.

    mice control/run virus program antivirus, touchpad question/switch to a mouse.

    Touchpad grounded questions/metal on the ground, program conflicts/reload last updated,

    Touchpad too sensitive / reduce touchpad senistivity.

    noticed an evening that said something about a file of bad scrll.exe or something like that

    Something on a download called Touchpad Pal has also seen, but I would be a search before you actually download to make sure that it is not malware.

    Most individuals find that disabling the touchpad and using a mouse connected real thread solved the problem.  He has done for me, but I still prefer using the touchpad due to lack of space for the mouse. Usually, I'm sitting in the Chair with the computer on my lap, that's why I wanted a laptop.  I just had my PC wiped and checked for viruses, it was clean. I had the actual number of operating processes, reduced to about 60.  Before you wipe it off, there were about 120. I will continue to try to find a solution, but I think that the best, I'll be able to do is reduce the jumping, not really to eliminate it.

  • An enemy following me around the screen, but not too fast

    Hi, I'm building apps to teach English but through games.

    I want an enemy BUG following me around but NOT TOO soon as I have small children of 5 years using it,

    It would be something like the details of my HERO character and to send the BUG.

    I use the POINT at the moment to send my HERO to where the mouse clicks.

    I could send the BUG there as well but using less x and y increments.

    It would be too heavy for the processor - too much going on with the music as well?

    still, do not remove:

    var speed: Number =. 99;

    public void onEnterFrame(event:Event):void {}

    var xDistance:Number = clickPoint.x - this.hero.x;

    var yDistance:Number = clickPoint.y - this.hero.y;

    If (Math.abs (xDistance) > 10) {}

    var angle: Number = Math.atan2 (yDistance, xDistance);

    This.Hero.x += v * Math.cos (angle);

    This.Hero.y += v * Math.sin (angle);

    } else {}

    this.hero.gotoAndPlay ("static");

    }

    enemy1.x = speed * enemy1.x +(1-speed) * hero.x;

    enemy1.y = speed * enemy1.y +(1-speed) * hero.y;

    If {(clickPoint.x>=hero.x)}

    this.hero.gotoAndPlay ("right");

    trace (Math.ABS (xDistance));

    }

    If {(this.hero.x>=clickPoint.x)}

    I tried the clean boot and now the hard drive works simply and screen went black. The mouse still moves around the screen without any outher work keys? That is what it is?

    Hello

    You will need to reverse the clean boot, as it is either incidental compared to
    the real cause of the problem. What, where you try to fix initially using the cleanboot?

    You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If so you can try the configuration - control panel
    The Device Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click the driver UPDATE - then
    Right click on the device and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

    Another method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure) is
    CTRL + ALT + DEL and the processes tab find EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - and then
    on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is reached
    by tapping F8 as you start several times.

    First check this thread in case it is simple and if not to come back to this thread.

  • Windows 7, normal use - mouse freezes when you move around the screen

    Hi there I use Win7 since the RC1 of scene and found it rock solid, I'm now running Windows 7 Enterprise. I installed it on a Dell XPS 1710 and had few problems so far. When I start my computer and you move the mouse around the screen, the mouse "hangs" for a second or two, then moves, then crashes again. In even the startup sound I is unstable, as are MP3 when I play those. All these things worked * perfectly * until a lock suddenly toward the top of the computer having been on during a few hours, which was a new event. The computer haddnt overheating but since then this nervousness thing that happened.

    What I tried:

    Selective startup, without the elements of startup and services, without change.
    Search for new drivers for my card (Nvidia 7950GTX) gfx, no change.
    Shut down the computer to turn off this device to save power 'allow' in the option of USB hub root

    None of that helped him. The CPU spikes 16% at most when you the mosue blocking, I have a lot of RAM available. Occurs when I use the touchpad as well and even when I'm not running all programs - oh, I have a Microsoft Intelli Mouse 5 button.

    Hopfully somebody can provide some more ideas for me. Thanks in advance

  • On my ipad3 I rectangles blue moving around the screen. Momentarily switches to an article before moving on. Very irritating

    I have an iPad 3. Model MC707B/A. Version 9.3.2 (13F69).

    Blue rectangles are continually moving around the screen from one section to the other. Also a blue stripe sometimes crosses the screen. Has started yesterday for no apparent reason.

    I have tried rebooting with no luck. Helpline Apple could suggest only reset to factory settings. Does anyone have a less radical solution?

    This is one of the accessibility features. It's the switch command. You will need to go into settings > general > accessibility > switch control and turn it off. It is possible, that's what the setting is triple clicking the home button. Try triple clicking again and see if that if he stops, otherwise, use the road that I explained earlier.

  • Satellite Pro M30: rim around the screen is broken

    I have a problem with the screen on my M30.

    He began to blur and sometimes it goes black, but turns on instantly.

    The black border around the screen is broken in the lower left corner, it never really seemed to be able to follow the screen correctly, and there are some time (a month or two) he snapped.

    It seems to me that there could be a loose or faulty connection somewhere. The problem often appears when I try to adjust the screen or move the computer. Someone has an idea of what might work?

    Hello

    Looks like this isn't something "fix-it-yourself". You should consider contacting an ASP for the fixed machine.
    The LCD mask is cosmetic and could be left off-, but the question of the LCD (screen goes fuzzy and come back) looks like to a defective part (LCD, wiring, PCB) or a bad connection on this path.

    If you still have the warranty - go to an ASP. If this is not the case, ask for a quote.
