  How can I change the size of text and background color? When I select the text box and change the height, nothing happens. If I drag the box is smaller, it just jumps back to where she was.   Answered my own question kind of... I had to go into the 'code' and change the settings manually. Why even have the options in 'view designer' to change the size of text box or color if it doesn't?

  Normally it is not possible to change the background on Windows 7 starter then maybe an upgrade to Home Premium would be an option.

  If you're looking for with Google you will find good tutorials how to change the background. There is another program called * Oceanis change background Windows 7 * who can change the background.

• Is it possible to change the size of a menu background?

  I would use my own photo as a background for menu and reduce its size less than the size of the menu.

  The photo selection sticks on a backup and re - open but the size of the object returns to the full menu size when the project is reloaded.

  If I have replaced a background in a Menu defined and only wanted it occupies a surface more small, what about 720 x 480 for DV NTSC Menu, I'd go to Photoshop, put my black background color, make new Image and choose the NTSC 720 x 480 (Standard or widescreen, as requires it) w / Guides. Then I would open my Image you want, drag it to this new Image and evolution with Free transform (Ctrl + T), to fill the area I want, flatten and Save_As PSD. This would be the Image I want to use for the whole Menu.

  Now, if you want to see some of the original Background, around your smaller Image, there are two methods to achieve this. As the structure of the Menu PRE sets are PSD in Photoshop layers, and the structure is very strict, I don't know if there will be problems with either of these ways.

  1. Do the same as above, but select Transparent to the background. Then Save_As PSD to use transparency in menus pre Editor. If this does not work, go to #2.
  2. Do the same as above, choose transparency for the background. Open one of the PrE Menu Set Menu PSD and drag the background to your new Image. Drag your Image on that and scale, as required. Save_As PSD and that drag the Menu set in the menu editor.

  To work with sets of Menu, which do not allow to add a background Image, we could open the MM (main Menu) and the SS (Selection of Scene) PSD in PS. Then we'd basically the operation drag on top, add their Image on background. I would then Save_As PSD, without Flattenng (very Important) and increment the first part of the name in some way. Do not change the last part of the Menu of MM range, or SS file names (very important). Create a new folder in the hierarchy of the folders under Menu DVD library and name it something like "my menu". Before you close on PS, flatten each the MM and SS, go to Image > Image size, choose 160 x 128 and create PNG Image size of the other PNG in the files of the Menu sets. Also note the naming convention of the files required for the PNG. Increment the start of the file name, to match what you did above. Place these PNG (they are "thumbnails" in the Menu Set Viewer) in this new folder that you created. When you start the pre and go to create Menus, your new folder should appear in the drop down menu, where you placed it.

  Note: Save_As NEVER exactly the same name, as names of the games of your DVD Menu templates or you will overwrite these sets of Menu. The only way to get back them is to reinstall the functional content material.

  If you get lost, feel free to watch the conventions of naming in pre, as a guide. Same for the order of the layers. The structure is VERY important. Although I do it a lot, I still need to use your Menu library as a reference guide. There is little flexibility in the naming of files and almost none in the order of the layers. The same goes for the folder/sub-folder structure.

  PS - The same instructions should work properly in PSElements, but as I do not know, or have this program, I can't be 100% certain. With the operations described above, we shouldn't face a limitation of the EP - its inability to create layer sets (buttons). However, the PSE can change layer sets - just not, create them.

  2. If by "background" you mean the background of the tab, no you can't.

• What size my image of background layer should be for the web?

  I do a logo design for someone I know and he wants that he placed ontop of a background texture steel. I source on an image of good quality, but despite my diligence in trying to understand how the resolution and the size of the image, I can't seem to grasp what I should do with it. I saw countless videos, but it must be a problem with the ol' brain ' in the head I.

  It is likely (at least for now) just for the web. My goal is just get it right so that it looks crisp and clear on the screen.

  The image I have is 1024 x 1384 pixel, 72 dpi. Yes 14.2 inches wide by 19.2 inches high.

  I have to change this at all? I'll be crop the image, but I'm worried that I will do it's too small and so it should be expanded, and I could meet some blurring.

  Should I expand? I heard that this isn't the most ideal thing.

  72 dpi is higher than the resolution must be for images of the screen, but is there an advantage to hit? Why couldn't just do 300 dpi for the heck of it?

  Do I need to pay attention to the thumbs, or is - this just good guide for when you print something?

  I believe that we have the impression that the image was for the entire background. Being its a banner among the dimensions should be much smaller and therefore can be a picture of lower resolution due to this fact.

  With respect to the other dimension, this will depend on your design. For example it will fill the width or height of the screen?

  With respect to models, you send a single image to a web browser and the browser itself repeats this image. This is why it is desirable. Your image can be 10 x 10 pixels pixels in the right circumstances. For any detail real chances are she would most likely be around 512 x 512. More this image is the faster it will load, it is that she may have more details. Its up to you to find this balance.

  Another problem I'm having is changing links in the template for the page names I use on the site. I can't seem to even find the buttons to make changes. What I'm doing to see them I can't 'see' when scrolling the line of time, but when I export them or preview the film that all the elements are there.   To the question of sizing, you have to physically move all the content.  You can do this by selecting the objects by using the up arrow key or by dragging with the mouse.  You can select the items by using the Selection tool over them on the scene or the frames of the timeline.  If there are several keyframes on a layer, you can only move one at a time, in which case it is preferable to use the approach of arrow so you can keep the County (shift: up arrow: taking larger steps).  If you cannot select the elements, it is likely that the layers are locked - you can unlock (symbols of the lock next to the layer name).

  For the buttons, can their layer is invisible, which you can make visible (the symbols of the eye next to the layer name), or they are added dynamically to the movie using the code.  In all cases, the links for them would have to code somewhere, then you'll want to check the timeline frames that have actionscript in them.

  If the buttons are added dynamically, they probably also have code indicating their position there that you will need to adjust to the new height.

  I can't change the background color of my page newtab to something other than white that it is today. Navigation in a dark room is extremely blinding, when opening the newtab page. In the past, I modified my file userContent.css with the following (among others):

  I have a title created in movement-5 and use it in FCPX.  It has a JPEG file as a background for the title.

  I imported several JPEG files with an idea to create a Rig with a pop up widget and assign a jpeg to every shot.

  The basic idea is to change the decorations in FCPX.   But for some reason I couldn't succeed.

  I saw the changing colors, animations etc. using test platforms.  Is it possible for sets as where the bottom is the JPEG file.

  I have currently some 30 titles each, with a background of different jpeg.

  Is this possible to do just a title with a platform containing 30 background files and then edit them in FCPX

  According to the needs.

  Appreciate any help in this regard.

  I can change is more the style or color of fonts in emails, blogs, forums, etc. I can change the font size and nothing else. Everything works when I'm connected using the Explorer is a parameter or a firefox update that is the cause of the problem. If I cut/copy and paste into a word from a web site document I can't yet make a change. If I copy a word document in a web site, the colors and the fonts back to default setting. I tried to change the setting in the fonts and colours Options, they make changes, but they do not solve the problem.

  Please check if this happens in a new profile. If it's good, you can later copy the personal data of the old profile. Firefox stores your personal data and settings to another separate location of the files/folder. A new profile would default Firefox settings (Tools (Alt + T) > Options and topic: config ) and usually also would be vacuum of Extensions and themes (appearance) in Tools > Add-ons) and their parameters. In addition, a new profile would have no previous stored site data/settings etc. (Tools > clear recent history).
