Size of styles

In Captivate 9, I try to get my message 'Try Again' in a quiz slide "Random Question" to be the same size and in the same place. I understand "styles" in regards to the formatting (color, text, etc.) but that the size of the shape and location? In the image as an attachment, the above is what I have by default, and the bottom is what I want to be passed on to all the slides. Yes I did a new object style, I tried to create a new master slide content. Master Slide seems to be the way to go, but maybe I do not understand how to change the current masters. I also changed the name of the default labels, re-imported all the Question pool slides. I don't want to manually edit each slide. Nothing to complain about. Help!

captivate__TryAgain-button.jpg

Rod, I have a different experience because I often have to move, resize existing shapes on question slides. When you do this on the master slide, it is applied to the existing question slides and certainly random question slides.

I just checked with this scenario, for a normal life a random question slide:

  • I created a normal question slide and a slide of issue randomly (with a few questions in the pool); laziness all question slides that use the same master girl Blade (QCM..)
  • I changed the color, the font size and the location of many of the forms of feedback (OP showed the try new shape) on the captain used slide (QCM). This change was applied immediately to the normal question, questions from the pool of the question and the random question slide (in the preview.

I wonder why you seem to not have this behavior. So often do I need this, because the overall response box is too small, because the feedback messages don't look right.

  • 2 questions - run as administriator &amp; change in the size of the text

    Hi all!

I've developed software with CVI, could you please answer 2 questions?

    1. when I install on other computers, the text messages different looks (the police expanded) and in my computer, it seems. I think that happens when you choose to change the text size in windows thorugh: Panel-> apperance and customizations-> medium(125%)/large(150%) instead of hail (default 100%). Prevent the change in the size of the text in the panels?

    2. on other computers the software could not create a file for writing, unless a throw with the option "Run as administriator". Why?

I hope you understood my questions, thank you!

Depending on the size of the text is concerned, if you do not use one of the metafonts predefined for your labels and the text of the control, you shouldn't have this problem. The metafonts are designed to take on the characteristics (in size and style), the default settings of the computer where you run your program. Furthermore, by default, all new controls that you create using one of these metafonts, specifically NIDialogMetaFont, which is an alias for a variable size font which can become more or less important depending on the settings of the computer.

To avoid this, you can change melting completely to something else (Arial, etc.), or you can even keep the same font, but make sure that you choose a different size that will result by it is not not the metafont predefined. For example, in my computer, if I use the point size 11, I use the metafont. But if I change the size of point to something else, then I don't want to, and that its size in points then remains the same in any computer.

    Size 11 (metafont):

    Size 12 (no metafont):

  • font size axis in labview

    Hello

How can I increase the size of the font of the plots axis labels in labview? is this possible?

    Thank you

Right-click on the graph. Advanced.  Customize.  You can choose the label and change the font, size, and style based on the font selector in the toolbar.

Programmatically you can do by a property of the graph node.  X scale > label name > fonts > all items or individual properties.

  • The font size in the Standard report

I've looked everywhere in the forum over the last three days at least to learn how to simply change the font size of the data in a standard report.  Nothing works. I have a lot of parts on a form page. I've done some parts read-only, and where necessary took some of the elements of a region read-only. We have no BI Publisher (nor the company, I work to buy it) and this is my way to allow the user to print it. Must I increase the font size for the reports on the page. I don't know that all of your answers are correct; I'm simply not being implemented properly.

My apologies: I tried to format the raw underside like html and syntax highlighting > plain - which does not seem to be clean. The additional lines of < span > < span >... are added and when I add ECMA as above is my opinion superimposed on itself - so I removed the formatting.

    Here is what I tried:

This added to my page template and page header
    < style >
    .t12standard tr td {make-size: 16px ;}}
    < / style >

In a column in the report, change the HTML Expression to
    & lt; span style = "do-family: Times New Roman;" font-size: 110% "& gt;" #MY_COLUMN_NAME # & lt; / span & gt;

This added to the attributes of the element field in the column attributes section
    < a style = "make-weight: bold;" font-size: 16px; "color: black".

It seems that it should be so simple, but jeeezumcrow I'm frustrated!

  • Is it possible to skin Panel or style Flash Player security?

Problem: our web application users are complaining that it is difficult to go beyond Flash Player Security Panel, when they want to make video calls.  (Personally, I don't see why it's hard.)   We have tried several things to guide them in the process, including legends, pointing to the area of the Panel of security with specific instructions and even a video to AutoPlay.  But still, some don't get it.  I think the biggest confusion is the close"" button.  Users think that it will close the application or the entire window.

Solution #1: it is possible that part of the problem is the small size and style of the Security Panel.  Is it possible to apply a style or skin to the Security Panel, so that it is larger and seems more in line with our web application?

Solution #2: maybe it's also a technical solution.  Has anyone seen a good implementation of a web application that make it easy for non-technical users make video calls?

    Thank you!

Using the styles inline is a very bad habit, except in rare circumstances, such as the creation of an HTML email. Inline styles added the rule of style directly in the HTML, you will have to change every single instance if you ever want to change the way the text appears.

It is best to select the text and make sure that the rule field target poster . Give a class name when you are prompted to the rule. You can then use the menu rule target or a category to apply the same style to any text. Changing the properties of the rule in one place then affects all of the text that uses the same class.

    Hello

    Can anyone help please.

  • When composing an email and by selecting "BOLD" police, why the FAT aspect disappears so later at the end of a sentence.

This aspect has been a problem forever, and it's frustrating. Before I start typing a sentence, I select "BOLD" and the font size. Lets say that I go back to the middle of the sentence to make a correction, then place the cursor at the end of the sentence or select the end key to continue typing, the aspect "BOLD" disappeared.

And it's frustrating that support Thunderbird does not take possession to allow direct communication with them rather going in this direction. They will not be disturbed. I'm about to kick on the road and go with a different email provider.

Probably because when you go at the end of the sentence, your insertion point (read: slider) is outside the HTML tag that defines the area in bold text formatting. How would be able to tell if you want to stay in the "BOLD" area, or go outside it Thunderbird?

My approach with this is to place the cursor inside the part already "BOLD" and type, fix if necessary existing text, or move to a html source viewer item to be more precise about the location of the cursor. I see no easy way for the system to tell us if the cursor is in the box "BOLD" or not. Ideally, there could be an indicator in time real tell us what the formatting is at the location of the cursor, but consider how many combinations of fonts, color, size, weight, style etc it could be that should be answered to be really useful.

I have all the same trouble in Word and free Office; It is intrinsic to the use of the supplement, isn't strange, IMHO, to Thunderbird.

It seems that John was a little down on his luck at the horse track. Seeing as they all had goats as family pets, prompted Glenn to remark that they might as well bet on goats.

Well, that was all it took for Ken, the practical joker of the group, to get an idea! The next day, Ken placed an ad in the local newspaper, advertising a Goat Race in Falmouth and giving his friend Glenn's phone number.

Meanwhile, back in the village, life went on as usual. Except, people started calling Glenn's phone number wanting to enter their goats in the race. Which didn't make any sense to poor Glenn's wife, who spent half of the day answering the telephone. But, being a good wife, she took everyone's name and phone number and when Glenn returned home that evening, she gave him the stack of messages (entries).

Now as the "good ol' boys" got together that night, they decided the only way to save face was to hold a goat race. And it was such a huge success that they have done it every year from that day up to the present.</p>
