  • Size of the window/form/Applet

    I recently upgraded a project of Forms 6i to 10g. However, the size of the window, the shape and the servlet varies and seems to be specific form. I tried the setting forms applet in the formsweb.cfg but each shape looks back on its own specific width of the form.

    How do I globally adjust the height and the width of all forms, windows and applets in my project?

    Windows-sizes can be controlled programmatically by

    SET_WINDOW_PROPERTY ("MYWINDOW",...,...);

    Control of the main window, you can use
    SET_WINDOW_PROPERTY (FORMS_MDI_WINDOW,...,...);

    If the sizes of the form window is changed during execution, I suppose that there's code into the resizinh.

    I hope this helps.

  • I can not adjust the size of the window for Firefox on OSX 20 after update

    After updating to the latest version of FF, I can no longer adjust the size of the window. I tried to click and drag the four corners of the window, but it remains the same size. Before the update I could adjust the size of the window. I tried rooting around in the topic: configuration settings but have not been able to find something that would determine the size of the window being locked to certain dimensions. I have also reset firefox to its default settings and this does not resolve the issue.

    Execution of OS x 10.6.8 with Firefox 20.0

    Try to disable the use of Firefox graphics acceleration hardware.

    You need to restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

    Firefox menu > Preferences > advanced

    In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

    If you restart Firefox, the problem is solved?

    I do not see the menu f or at the bottom of web pages unless I have 'restore down' for a smaller size of the window.

    The problem is when you maximize the window - it is even bigger than the available surface? Or the problem is that normal windows are always too big and have to manually resize?

  • New window JavaScript links that specify the size of the window are open in a new tab instead.

    Before you go to 7.0.1 the default 'open windows in a new tab' option only would do to target = "_blank" links and functions JavaScript which did not specify the new size of the window. If an included JavaScript function size in the characteristic attributes, a new window would open again for a proper display of the new content.

    Since the upgrade to 7.0.1 on Mac, however, all new window links open in a new tab tested on two different Macs and confirmed in the subject: config values have been defined as follows:

    Browser.Link.open_newwindow = 3
    Browser.Link.open_newwindow.restriction = 2

    No problem here on Linux to open these windows pop up in a new window.

    Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • Change the size of the window

    Hello

    I created a VI using LV8.0... When I run that in my computer screen size is OK. But when I try to run the VI on other computers and laptops, screen size is smaller, window of my VI fits on the screen... I'm unable to see all the controls and indicators. Can someone tell me how to change the size of the window so that it works on any computer with a std size...

    Concerning

    Nitzy,

    You can configure your façade elements to resize with the façade. And you can set up your Panel before be enlarged, which means ' an application full screen. Together, these two settings may solve your problem.

    But be aware that sizing is no "analog" process, so propably you meet the gaps and overlaps between your controls.

    hope this helps,

    Norbert

    [EDIT] The two settings are in the settings of VI (Ctrl + I).

  • The resizing of the Windows form performs a test of the Windows XP computer.

    Original title: resizing the form event performs.

    I have a c# program that uses the Windows form resize event. On my Win 7 and the machine on 1 of my XP machines

    the program works very well. However on my other XP machine, the resize event fires prematurely when the application

    is current initialization blowing toward the top of the original graphical user interface of the application.

    The two XP machines related worm 5.1 build 2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.111025 - 1629 as the operating system.

    The obvious question is "why would be 1 machine to fire prematurely the windows form resize event when the other.

    "2 machines to not"?

    Any help/comments/suggestions will be much appreciated.

  • Under XP, when I try to install the program screen flash BACK and trying to change back, but then return to the windows form.

    When I run the Setup in the program screen flash backs and trying to change back, but then return to the windows form.

    * original title - back program will not be run. *

    How old is this program and what is his name?  If you give us the name of the program someone read here who have experience with the peculiarities of the program might be able to provide more help.

    Open a command prompt, and then try running Setup from the command prompt.  To start a command prompt, type CMD in the box run from the start menu and press or click OK .  At the command prompt, you can use the CD command to navigate to the CD, or you can run the Setup program by using the full path to the Setup program, for example:

    x:\Install.exe

    where x is the CD drive letter.

  • Set the size of the window for DOS applications running on the Windows XP Pro machine
