The resizing of the Windows form performs a test of the Windows XP computer.

Original title: resizing the form event performs.

I have a c# program that uses the Windows form resize event. On my Win 7 and the machine on 1 of my XP machines

the program works very well. However on my other XP machine, the resize event fires prematurely when the application

is current initialization blowing toward the top of the original graphical user interface of the application.

The two XP machines related worm 5.1 build 2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.111025 - 1629 as the operating system.

The obvious question is "why would be 1 machine to fire prematurely the windows form resize event when the other.

"2 machines to not"?

Any help/comments/suggestions will be much appreciated.

TIA, Joe

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft Community Forums.

It seems that you have problems with downloading files on the windows vista computer.

The description of the problem seems a little unclear and I wish I had a better understanding before you start working on it. I would appreciate if you can help me with the following information.

    1. what browser you use on the computer?

    2. What is the exact full error message?

    3. don't you make changes on the computer before this problem?

    4. deal with this problem if you try to download all files from online?

If you do this in the face of Internet Explorer help, I suggest that you should change the default download location and check if it helps.

    Method 1

In internet explorer, you can change the default location.

    Here's how:

    a. open internet explorer.

    b. click on Tools , then select view downloads.

    c. downloads for window, click Options.

    d. now, enter the default download location and click on the OK button.

Turn on the computer at the beginning of boot and check if the problem persists.

    Method 2

Perform a clean boot to see if no third-party service is causing the problem.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: follow step 3 to reset the computer to start as usual after the boot process.

    Hello

1st thing to try is the system in safe mode restore to before the problem

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode option with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
    6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

    read the tutorial below

When you log on a Windows Vista-based or a Windows 7 computer by using a temporary profile, you receive the following error message:

The user profile Service has not logon. User profile cannot be loaded.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/947215#letmefixit

Your user profile was not loaded correctly! You have been logged on with a temporary profile.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/947242

If you tried to log on to Windows and received an error message telling you that your user profile is damaged, you can try to fix it. You will need to create a new profile and then copy the files from the existing to the new profile. You must have at least three user accounts on the computer to perform these operations, including the new account that you created.

  • I just installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on my Windows 7 computer and can't download a PDF from a government site. I was able to download the pdf of the year last of this site without any problems.

I just installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on my Windows 7 computer and can't download a PDF from a government site. I was able to download the pdf of the year last of this site without any problems. How can I handle this?

The PDF Viewer for Firefox supports not only this type of form PDF (XFA) or any PDF form really. You must download the file and open it in Acrobat or Adobe Reader, and it will work. You can download the PDF file right click on this link and selecting "save target as".

  • Firefox will always be a way course surf the web using a Windows XP computer after that leaves Microsoft support Windows XP?

Windows XP is still my favorite operating system, but Microsoft will give up support in the coming days. If I understand correctly, shortly after which using Windows Internet Explorer to surf the web on a computer running Windows XP (or can) make the computer vulnerable to piracy. It will be the same for the use of Mozilla Firefox on a computer that is running Windows XP?
I think I saw an ad for Google Chrome with that they would continue to support the browser for use on a Windows XP computer. I think that Google said they would keep releasing patches to secure the Chrome. Can anyone confirm that and more importantly, is Mozilla Firefox secure? Also, should I uninstall Internet Explorer on my Windows XP computer when leaving Microsoft support?

Note - I am posting this with a newer computer that works under Windows 7 64-bit.

Firefox will continue to work with Windows XP. At best, in the near future, I could see the required configuration to encountered to Windows XP with Service Pack 3 (obligation is SP2 for now). Security in Firefox patches are the same, regardless of the version of Windows you are using.

Keep in mind that without security updates, the operating system itself will be precarious. What browser and software security that you use will not change.

Internet Explorer is a component of the system, and you should not attempt to remove it in Windows Vista and lower. From Windows 7, there's a way of kind of uninstall from the control panel.

It would not seem like an audio CD, as a drive in this way is a data disc when it contains mp3 files. You would need to access the file menu in iTunes, manage files here. If you manually manage music, you will need to access it as a regular folder on your computer. In iTunes, go to file > add file to library, and select individual files.

There should be an icon on your desktop that say Solution Center, you must also have an icon that looks like a scanner on your desktop. If you click the scan icon can scan you successfully a document to your computer?

  • Using a Windows ME computer as a file server for the other windows PC on my network.

Hi, I was so excited when I heard that my friend gave me his old pc! It turns out it was a Windows ME I was going to build a server with this old pc, but when I found out it was a Windows ME computer, I was mad.

Enough with the stories! I was wondering what I can use to share files with a windows ME pc host with 10 connecting windows pc to this? Aedan thanks.

It is doubtful that the machine me has enough resources to do much of anything.  It is after all the 16 years.  You may be able to force them to work, but not worth the time or effort and will probably cause a lot of frustration.

  • Getting IE 7 on the Windows 7 computer

Received a new computer with Windows 7 top with IE 8. Problem is one of the products of the seller, I use only works with IE7.  Should what download I use to install IE7 on my Windows 7 computer?

You cannot install IE7 on a Win7 computer or you can downgrade IE8 to IE7. You can, however, "spoof" the rope IE7 User Agent to make a webpage (not an application) think that you're running IE7. See http://www.enhanceie.com/ietoys/uapick.asp or http://www.enhanceie.com/ua.aspx
