Skin of Alta in Jdeveloper 12.2.1

Hi all

I use Jdeveloper 12.2.1 and I want to build my Pages with sensitive designis the value default Alta skin under 12.2.1 Jdeveloper supports responsive design?

OR

I have to add components (media behavior Match, masonry Layouts, Media Query) to make my Pages adapted.

Thank you.

Using JDev 12.2.1 and the creation of a new web application, you get the default Alta skin (12.1.3 you need to turn yourself on as in the link above).

In any case, choosing Alta does not have your sensitive application. For this you need to 'life' the Alta design UI and pick the layout of masonry and you can add the right matches behavior media your skin.

  • jdev 12 c Swtiching between merger and skins of Alta

    We have improved our app from 11g to 12.2.1 and plan to use the new skin of alta for the new module that we will develop now. But the former already existing modules, to keep the skin of the merger.

    I know that you can change the skin of Trinidad-config file 'alta' and it will change the look and feel to Alta. But is there a way dynamically say that for some URLS use alta and for all others use skin of merger?

    Pointers are appreciated.

    Finally I found what it was. I'm trying to get through skin to alta for the page that was saved in the adfc-config.

    So when the url of the page was called, the address bar would still show the url of the home page and the page would be redirected. Because the home page url is called, he would go into another stream and alta skin instead merger.

    I tried another page that was not registered in the adfc-config and it worked perfectly fine.

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] Alta UI skin: can I just turn it on in an existing application?

    Hallo,

    I explore new Alta UI skin and I applied it to my web existing request ADF Essentials...

    Trinidad - config.Xml

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?>
    <trinidad-config xmlns="http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad/config">
      <skin-family>mySkin</skin-family>

    Trinidad - skins.xml

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?>
    <skins xmlns="http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad/skin">
      <skin>
        <id>myAltaSkin.desktop</id>

        <bundle-name>oaw.view.skinBundle</bundle-name>
      </skin>
    </skins>

    Where mySkin.css is the existing custom CSS file I used to extend the previously used skin of Skyros.

    When I run the app, I see that the new skin is nice but I found for example that:

    • the dimension of the character is a big it: in all the pages I designed a vertical scroll bar appears so beacause of it;
    • the dimension of many inputTexts (many of them created/sized automatically when drag-n - drop a VO istance in the page) is not enough to contain the text (I can see the great part of it but not the end);
    • AF: Buttons that I called in mySkin.css appears with a few flaws (Alta CIHI vs Skyros)...

    Well, I would like to know if it is possible to apply new skin of Alta UI to an earlier application and in general what actions need to be made to adapt to the old APP (for example to solve problems that I listed above).

    Thank you

    Federico

    Federico, you can skin new Alta of legacy applications, as you have already proven. However, you need to change the skin at the level of the parties made the new Alta skin is different and you can expect to see some differences.

    As w do not know what you skin it is difficult to say why you see what you see. Use tools like firebug to compare the generated html code. Then you should be able to change your skin to achieve the desired result.

  • Two skin (Alta and fusionFx - v2.desktop) can they coexist?

    12.1.3 Jdev

    Hello

    Our application (in the skin of fusionFx - v2.desktop) are in production for several years.  We migrated from 11.1.2.2 to 12.1.3 recently.  In the coming months, we will create some new pages for some new features of business and would like to use the skin Alta and follow Alta design guidelines/considerations while other existing pages (in fusionFx - v2.desktop) still running.  We also revisit and redesign existing pages gradually to follow the design of Alta.  In the transition period, I wonder can the fusionFx - v2.desktop and the shoes of Alta coexist within an application?

    I understand that we define the skin in Trinity - config.XML as this skin-family <>alta < / skin-family >.  We can define only one there.

    Please tell us how we can treat in our scenario.

    Thank you

    -Mina

    You can have more skin then another in your application, but only one active skin. So either you have all pages using ALTA or fusionFX.

    Refer to the Customizing the appearance using Styles and skins and Peddi: how to change the skin of the ADF dynamically to run or http://matt-shanto.blogspot.de/2012/07/adf-skinning.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

    As this switch is made by the user, you can try to automatically switch the skin when you enter for example a task flow build with ALTA.

  • Is it possible to use Alta Skin with Jdev 11.1.1.7?

    Hi experts,

    I would like to know if the new skin of Alta is available with Jdev 11.1.1.7

    It is not available in the current 11.1.1.7.0 release. We could get lucky and see it in a later version of the patch.

  • Introduction to "skinning".

    Hello world

    Does anyone have a recommendation of a tutorial of 'skinning' quick start? JDeveloper is very new to me, and I now want to add a little spice to my application newly developed a ' hello world ' because it's ugly !

    Finally, I will develop an application real fusion, so find a library of 'skin' that meets the standards of BSE would be a nice bonus.

  • Skinning - dynamic Shell UI

    Hello
    Although I have found a lot of discussion on the dynamic Shell UI Skinning, none of them have any concrete solution. Anyone who has done earlier or not any idea please help answer the 2 questions below

    (1) can I use the default template and always apply the skin to change the background color (i.e., it is the main requirement from now on), tab color etc.,?

    or

    (2) should I create my own version of the model to apply the skin?

    According to Frank to change the model of dynamic in The Tabs UI (interface User Shell) theme shell counting is possible, but if I could get a few more details where and how it would be really great.

    Receive your answer. Thank you!

    -SS

    Hello

    See: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/web.1111/b31973/ap_config.htm#sthref406

    If you assign a web.xml context parametere for org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.DISABLE_CONTENT_COMPRESSION file and set it to false, then using Firebug in Firefox, the names of the skin applied to a component look like af_component_area (e.g. af_inputText_labell) which you translate to for example af | inputText::label

    As Chris has said, some components have associated style class names to allow the specific instance count (that is, the name of the style class is added to the definition of the skin). For information on which component has a style applied class, I suggest to download the source code of Tabshell dynamic and check the component you want to skin. The skin itself is better developed using the Visual editor of skin (stand alone for JDeveloper 11 g R1 or shipped for JDeveloper 11 g R2)

    Hi all

    IM using Jdev 12.1.3 and skin of alta

    I have a text entry field with bound to a method getSuggestItems in pageFlowScope.quickSearchBean AutoSuggestBehavior.

    The method returns a list of items. I want to add a select element at the end of the list and then style it

    Is it still set some specific css for some items in the playlist

    Thanks in advance

    DAT

    Hello

    You can do something like this:

    UL [id ^ = 'it1'] li [_afrlabel ='MySelectItemLabel ']}

    style

    }

    It1 the ID of your InputText and MySelectItemLabel is the label of the element you want to style.

    You can also use _afrvalue instead of _afrlabel.

    It will be useful.

    Kind regards

    Do not know if has something to do with your problem, but

    [taskdef] Could not load definitions from resource net/sf/antcontrib/antcontrib.properties. It could not be found.

    points to some missing properties that can cause the error.

    You can debug the ant (http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2012/02/07/jdeveloper-gem-debug-ant-scripts/ control) script and see what is exactly the problem.

  • jdev 12.2.1 panelformlayout high labelalignment does not align (for skin = alta)

    input_date_alignment.png

    I use a layout of the form of Panel and I LignesMax = 2 and maxcolumsn = 2.  and the alignment of the label = top.

    I also have skin 'alta' value in the file config-Trinity.

    I put 2 texts of entry to appear in the column and the second column of the form displays the dates of entry 2.

    If you run this page, the alignment of the label's little misaligned. This is the entry date labels are a little below that the text of entry tha ones. and also the date box is less than the input text box.

    Is it possible to fix it to show lined up perfectly?

    My code for the page is something like this-

    < af:panelFormLayout id = "pfl1" rows argument maxColumns = '3' = '3' partialTriggers = "b1" fieldWidth = "100".

    Another alternative to the skin of personalization for this requirement of yours is, use component af:panelLabelAndMessage... Add each component (simple value = true) in a panelLabelMessage
