I didn't ask details so I will try to know where to look. The Apple Online Store shows not available for pickup. I hope that this will change tomorrow. • Vista does not recognize my edge diskGo flash drive. __

  I just got a new computer with Vista and when I placed my edge deskGo into the USB, my computer does not recognize my backup file on this subject.  He considers that this is on A floppy drive and I don't even have a floppy drive.  I can't see all of the files on my disk.  I think that the diskGo is configured to be compatible with XP but not Vista.  This would be the case?  If so, how can I fix it?  Thank you

• USB Wizard will not automatically install the usb/flash drives

  Working on a laptop, I have a strange problem. Insertion of a usb device (disks hard usb flash are all that I tested) opens the new hardware Installation Wizard.
  If I choose "Install the software automatically", the wizard still fails. If I select "Install from a list or specific location", then choose as location c:\windows\inf, it still works. The wizard should not be checking this place on its own?
  Things I've tried:
  -Reinstall the USB devices in Device Manager
  -Microsoft Fix it 50052
  Gateway, MX6441 laptop
  Windows MCE
  Service Pack 3
  All the important updates installed
  Any ideas would be appreciated.

  It seems that Windows loses somehow USBSTOR.xxx files in the C:\Windows\INF folder. You can simply copy them from (C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\usbstor.inf_x86_neutral_83027f5d5b2468d3) to C:\Windows\INF, and that might solve the problem.

• Card SD not recognized and the error message: G: made reference to a location that is not available and may be a drive on this computer or network

  The picture card reader is under g: removable disk, but when I insert the sd card is unrecognized.  No AutoPlay.  Under my computer, it shows a player when the card is inserted but is he named drive letter, just a question mark.    Error message appears and indicates that g: refers to a location that is unavailable.  He says it could be a drive on this computer or network.  This isn't networked.  Card is inserted correctly.  message indicates that it might have been moved to a different location.   How to get the drive recognized or knowledge if it was moved and twhere was - this moved?   Thank you James

  Also check if the device is detected in Device Manager. Follow the steps to go to the Device Manager.

  a. Click Start, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.

  b. Locate the device name in the list of Bus USB controllers.

  c. If you see the item on to the SD card, right-click on it and click on uninstall.

  d. restart the computer and check if that helps.

• Purchase second stand-alone upgrade license LR6 not available in stores, is there a way for the user for a long time (since 1.0 more CC) to obtain a second license for both laptop and desktop?

  I've owned Lightroom since it was released when I paid $316,94 for her.  I bought the 2.0 for $103.95 update, then update 3.0 for $69.30 (on another account accidentally) and then joined the CC full suite.  Our Canadian dollar began to decline in value and I didn't feel that the subscription has been good value more, especially since I'm more a clean user of Photoshop and CS5.  I found that Lightroom is useful once again and so I bought last year updated for $88,48 USD and the product has glitches but I used it.

  Recently, I had to install on my Samsung laptop and found, I had to deactivate the license on my desk to use, and I find this pain connection and disconnection, since I do not have the foresight to know when to sign physically out of my office before I use my laptop.  Going to the Adobe store earlier, it does not allow me to buy another license upgrade for my second computer while the 'old' version of Lightroom was fine with me on my laptop and desktop.  I do not have a heavy user for a few years, but I start to have some interest in my work and need the laptop and the computer.  Adobe authorized a second upgrade license, am I expected to buy a full version new or I just go to Corel whose entire suite is less than the Lightroom upgrade?

  Again, I am mostly a Photoshop user and really need Lightroom to catalogue and cropping for final prints only selections, and it seems a little extreme that I cannot use my license on one computer at any time, why not the second?  I think Adobe is assuming we all have easy access to the internet and a wi - fi connection, and that Canadians want to pay twice as much for Adobe products as everyone else.  I installed two trials of Corel since they're cheaper reunited to form a new owner even a Lightroom update still less a total of the purchase, and so far they have integration with Photoshop and the feature settings of catalog, just I don't like not having to learn how to use when I already own another product.

• SWF works fine in IE but not in the QT COM flash drive

  Hi all

  I am writing a QT application that needs to display a SWF file. I finished and tried to display an example of SWF (a.swf) file downloaded from the internet and the result was OK.

  Now, I started writing my own SWF (b.swf) using ActionScript 3 file and compiled with MXMLC. But b.swf couldn't be displayed in my QT application.

  What is strange, is that both a.swf b.swf could be displayed in IE.

  Could anyone guess what the reason would be, please?  Thanks in advance.

  Problem solved. What happened was that my image was not large enough to be seen in a small window, so it seems as if the image did not load at all.

• Verbatim Store ' Don't Go 4 GB USB Flash Drive

  I have recently updated from Windows XP to Windows 7.  The new computer does not recognize my Verbatim Store ' GB flash drive.  I find it listed in printers and devices.  When I troubleshoot it says I need to install the WPD filesystem Volume player.  All my research only talk about Vista, which does not apply.  Also, the Verbatim site does not list this disc.  Can someone tell me where to download and install?

  WPD stands for Windows Portable device. This is the driver that allows USB devices for synchronization of media. It is also necessary for ReadyBoost work. The driver is not installed and therefore you get this error.

  I suggest that you uninstall the corrupt for the USB drivers and reinstall.

  Uninstall the drivers from the Device Manager

  1. click on Start

  2 type devmgmt.msc in search, and then press enter

  3. in Device Manager, locate the USB device, right-click top and select the option Uninstall.

  4. restart the computer and check.

  You can contact the manufacturer and get the latest driver for your Windows 7.

• Hardware changes not detected using a flash drive, the missing, system restore points tried every fix that MS can offer in Windows 7

  All of a sudden, I have several problems with my computer.  I can't not computer to recognize a flash drive.  Printer works in the same usb port.  I used Device Manager, checked the drivers, made every difficulty that MS has to offer, each difficulty that Dell can offer, but the problem remains.  I don't feel uncomfortable so I don't have to play with the registry.  I uninstalled the drivers and rebooted.  The only changes that I did before this happened was to uninstall and reinstall I-tunes.  The flash drive, I use would be defective?  When I went to the system restore, my restore points have disappeared, that was the point where I uninstalled I-tunes.  I also noticed that when I tried to detect problems with the resolution of the problems of hardware and devices, it says "material changes may not have been detected.  In detail, it also shows "there is no configured windows in a way never install driver - edition".  WHAT?  I know that windows IS configured to automatically install.  (Deep breath)

  2. that all measures tried on your own to fix this?
  3 have you tried to test the flash drive on another computer to see if it is faulty?

• HP 16 gb Flash Drive does not

  I have a Compaq Presario CQ56-115dx and a HP 16 GB flash drive that will not work with the computer. The flash player works with my HP Pavilion laptop but not with the Compaq. I have a 4 gb HP flash drive that works with the computer very well, as well as some SanDisk ones. I don't think it's USB drivers because my other flash drives work with the computer very well. I really need to use the flash drive to back up information from the Compaq computer, so any help would be appreciated.

  It is strange that the flash drive working in a pc and not another. You mentioned a 4 GB drive has worked in your laptop and a few others, but not the 16 GB one.

  What were the capabilities of other flash drives that worked in your laptop?

  Have you tried the 16 GB drive in other ports on this computer?

  You have other problems with the USB ports on this computer?

  Device Manager displays a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark next to the hard drive
  Have tried to update the drivers but points out the best drivers already installed.
  Connection drive after that a restart prompt message "driver installation", followed installation failed, error 39.
  I installed the latest drivers for the chipset of my Board.
  I have the Nations United-mounted and re-installed readers all affected.
