  So, it should be regression introduced along the road between 6.16.0.105 and 6.16.60.105.

  I've seen similar problems for older versions, where I deleted the temp folders and renamed a former Skype folder but does not resolve. The software crashes when the password is approved and dueing the connection process. If I give a wrong password it will tell me this fact and not broken.   Hello, iv been trying for a few days do not install Skype, iv tried both online and offline Installer downloaded from the Skype Website and ofc I tried safe mode.

  I can't say much about what happends, but I get to installing the part of files where the 'green bar' moves to a 'normal' phase, then after a few seconds the 'green bar' begins to move at a much faster speed and Setup stops. no error message. Anyone know what could be wrong?

  We use Skype through the office on different computers (and my cell phone). Desktop computers are Windows 7 and 8.
