Skype can't detect webcam
Hello
I use an ASUS A43T laptop and my Skype can't detect the integrated webcam. It worked fine until a few days ago. I tried to test my webcam via other online sites and it works very well. Update my driver for the webcam. Skype is in its latest version. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Skype, nothing works. Help please!

What do you mean by "Asus Virtual Camera is not selected as video source"?
That's my problem basically:
Uninstall the currently installed version of Skype and install the 6.14.0.104 previous version:

Skype can't detect not webcam. Once again.
So, I had this problem some time ago and downgrading to an older version of Skype to be fixed.
Now, however, I was forced to upgrade to the latest version of Skype again because it would link is no longer with the older version and ust as before he refuses to admit that I have a webcam.
Using windows 7
Latest version of Skype
Updated drivers
USB 2.0 UVC 1 M webam (built in)You have several virtual Capture video applications, which all can conflict with the latest versions of Skype and prevent the detection of the physical webcam.
One that is known to cause problems is ASUS Virtual Camera application (http://community.skype.com/t5/Windows-desktop-client/Unable-to-detect-webcam/m-p/3629083#M299779). Uninstall this application. I don't know if this is the case with the application less known of FFsplit/FFsource (http://www.ffsplit.com/) , but the removal of this application may be necessary too. ManyCam, depending on the version, can cause problems also.
If the uninstallation of applications of virtual video capture will not help, then uninstall the currently installed version of Skype and install the 6.14.104 version by using the download links provided here:

Skype can not detect my sound card
If I talk to my friends with a headset on Skype while I play games with them. So, when I go to play Starcraft 2. When the loading screen appears, the audio going to the speakers. Then I disconnect and reconnect my helmet. He goes into the helmet for a second until its return to the speakers. I try again and dies all the sounds. In the caller group, after clicking on call quality info, Skype says "cannot detect your sound card." The volume control on the toolbar says "The Service Audio does not work." On the start menu, I type in its research program, and when I click it, it invites me with "Audio Service not running... You want to enable the Windows Audio Service? "After you click Yes, the sound is catering to the speakers. I reconnect the headset, and it goes to the headset for a second until its return to the speakers. I try again, and all the sounds dies. However, this problem is solved after the closure of Starcraft 2. If someone could solve this puzzle for me, it would be much appreciated.

Skype can't detect not Webcam HP
Hello
I have a HP Pavilion DV3000 series laptop PC with Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. After the recent update of my Skype to Skype 6.20 does not detect my integrated webcam. I tried to install the old version according to the other threads in the community, but Skype does not allow the connection with her.
Please help me solve this problem because it is very disappointing to see that an update has made Skype of no use.
Thanks in advance.
First, you need to update your installation of Vista in the last Service Pack 2 (SP2) and update of the system drivers:
You should also uninstall CyberLink YouCam, this video capture device virtual software we know conflict with Skype.

Skype can not detect the webcam
Original title - Webcam
Skype tells me that it cannot detect my webcam. I use a Dell Inspiron laptop and running Windows 8. I have looked everywhere for my webcam driver (in Device Manager) and have been on several forums, Skype and Microsoft, and so far, nothing is done.
BrianProblem within the application itself, as the metro Skype DOE this. How I solved, it was initially run Skype for desktop PC and have it pick up the camera. Then, you run the Skype metro and he will go get the camera. After that close the office and you are sorted
