Skype cannot mark conversation as read (only 1 conversation)

I started having this problem yesterday and I am unable to find a solution, my Skype shows what a conversation is not read and if I right click on the conversation I can't press mark as read or mark as unread more. Also, if I try to mark all my conversations as read (with the right click of the mouse on them) he is grey, I'm asssuming it's because he believes all my conversations are read. But I am unable to get this and it is very very annoying, if anyone has experienced the same problem? / found a solution to this problem? Thank you anyone who tries to help him: 3

I'm sorry, I already found a solution... released too early... anyone else has this problem and find a solution, I found a solution here more http://community.skype.com/t5/Windows-desktop-client/Read-messages-marked-as-unread/m-p/1678266 although I deleted them instead of rename: p

  • Cannot change the expression - read-only

I have a problem as some of the steps in my sequence of the expression has become read-only. This has happened on and off the power for awhile on several machines, the job is to create a new step copy the expression and remove the old stage. I did once see a message something is set to 'read only', but I couldn't find where to disable it.

I can always change to another part of the stage, in the properties-> Expressions pre and status windows are white and I can change them, the expression post window is gray and cannot be changed. The expression tab is the same, gray and read-only.

TestStand 2012, that step is now a function f (x), don't know if it's always the case.

I searched here and find only very old posts that sugest that the problem is solved in 2012.

TS is considered to be a well hidden. You can view the properties hidden in the Preferences of the Station Options tab.

Looks like your sequence files are INI format, then you might be able to fix it in a text editor. Open the movie file in a text editor and locate the steps in question. They are listed in order of their index position (e.g. "[SF. SEQ [0]. Hand [2]. TS]"), or you can use their stage names or IDs to find. In the steps that you want to modify, delete the line ' % FLG: PostExpr = 1 "to reset the indicators of the property to 0.

You can try to generate checksums before and after copying the file in sequence to check if the file is actually change. You can also try saving the file in the sequence in binary format or XML instead of INI.

  • Cannot delete the files read-only on display

    Hello

I copied files from my PC to the view, but when they were on the PC, they were marked read-only. Now, I found that I can't remove them from the sandisk as it says that they are read-only.

How do I change the properties of the files so I can delete them?

    Thanks for any help!

    Worto.

I format the device if these files take up a lot of space, then resyn or copy the data (do not read that things) on the device.  Be sure to back up all data you want to save the device before formatting.

The format option is in the settings menu system.

  • Cannot delete a Document "read only".

I have Windows Vista.  I inserted a disc in the drive, and there were about 20 documents on it.  The problem is this: I clicked one of the documents to delete and there is no Delete option.  I went in the paper and thought it was a document read-only.  I checked using the save option and under Tools, there is no control in the read-only box to clear.  I went out of the doc and clicked on properties to try to clear the area.  There is no check in the box, it is.  If there is not a check, can be a document read-only?

Further investigation, I found that all documents on the CD were "read only".  I never made any of them read-only, and without a box to turn it off, my question is: How did all these documents get this way and how can I fix the problem.  Thank you!

    Hi clearlyembarrassed,

    See the following article:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/erase-a-CD-or-DVD

In addition, just to check when you transfer all the files on a CD, it becomes read-only, you cannot change the file on the CD.

    I hope this helps!

  • cannot deactivate an attribute read-only on a folder

    Hello

I have a folder with the read-only attribute marked with a blue square and tagged (applies only to files in the folder).

When I try to delete it, he's going right through to the subfolders and files, but ultimately the blue square is always there.

I am the owner of the folder and have full permission.

I also tried with the attrib command, but that has not changed anything.

    Thanks for any help.

    Stefano

    Hi stefca,

By default, the attributes: read-only (applies only to files and folders) will be there. Although the subfolders in the main folder would have access to read and write.

Also if you want to remove the permission to read the file, then you must change the permissions. Follow the steps for the same:

    i. right click on the folder

    II. Select Properties

    III. Select Security tab.

    IV. click on edit

    v. check the Deny option to read.

VI. click on apply, and then click OK

  • Z30 blackBerry cannot mark messages as read

In the hub of BlackBerry, you can tap the icon on the left of an element any mark as read without opening it. I constantly on my z30, and he has always been on my q10. For some reason any it stopped working yesterday. It always just opens the message now. What I've done wrong?

Solved myself. In the hub, there only three lines and check mark icon at the top right. If you click on it, it shows the icons of deleting items from the trash, but it also allows you to mark items as read by clicking the icons. Disable it deletes the Recycle Bin icon and prevents you also tapping the icon to mark as read.

Adobe Pro XI - use the operating system to Windows 7 Pro

When a PDF document is open in Windows Explorer, and pages are added, deleted, ratings, all types of changes, he cannot be saved until the Windows Explorer is completely closed.  If you try to save the document, you receive the error message next - "the document could not be saved.  The file may be read-only, or another user may have his opening.  Please save the document under a different name or in a different folder. «I have confirmed the document is not read only, it is not open by another user, and this is not open many times.»  Once completely, you close Windows Explorer and try to save the document, it saves without problem.

  • Copy the new Gmail message to a local folder in Thunderbird-, and mark it as read ONLY on the Gmail server

    Hi forum,

for a long time, I tried to set up a filter which copies new messages in the Gmail inbox to a folder in local mail in Thunderbird, and defines in addition/unread state correctly on both ends.

However, no matter what I try, it doesn't work.

There seems to be no way to set the playback on the IMAP server to 'read' State after the copy action and at the same time keep the "unread" status for mails that have been copied to the local folder in Thunderbird.

It does not work even if I created an intermediate folder on the IMAP server where mail is first moved to and only then is copied to the local Thunderbird folder later.

I also tried all sorts of combinations with the 'move later' and other actions to FiltaQuilla.

I'm really at a loss. I'm the only one who wants to copy the message from Gmail to a local Thunderbird folder and get the status of unread / read appropriate on the server, as well as in Thunderbird?

    Bunch help, thank you

    Bravo David.P

Why is that every time I ask about any TB support forum, I find myself explaining things instead of getting an answer?

I need to mail to stay on the server, even if I delete it locally. What part of this is not understandable?

In any case, don't bother. I fixed it myself at the same time by putting in place the new Gmail account in Thunderbird.

  • OGNL presentation - mark read-only?

    Hello

In part an UserInteraction object, I have a value default of ' #_userdisplayname '.

I use this for which captures the current user who meets the interaction (approval process).

Is it possible to transfer only the current user (cannot be changed)?  I use for verification purposes, but don't want the person approving the action to change it.

    BTW...

The end-user uses the web client in 6.x to respond to these actions.

    Thank you

    B

    Hello

There is no direct property to mark a presentation read-only field.

There is a sort of workaround, however. Open to edit the presentation of user interaction (as indicated on your screen), click the "Approve" display group and enter the expression you want to display in the form of a text read-only in "General"-> field 'Description' at the bottom of the dialog box.

For example, you can enter something like:

    Directly responsible for: ${__userdisplayname}

When you start the workflow, and it reached approval stage, you should see a read-only label, something like

    Directly responsible for: __John Doe

  • defragment a volume read-only?

How do I defrag my pc when he always tells me "cannot defragment the volume read-only C?

You need to change read only to normal C (how have you managed to make drive C read only anyway?).   This is done with the ownership and permissions.  Here is information on the two that will help you make the necessary changes.

To view your permissions, right-click on the file/folder, click Properties, and check the Security tab.  Check the permissions you have by clicking on your user name (or group of users).  Here are the types of permissions, you may have:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-are-permissions.  You must be an administrator or owner to change the permissions (and sometimes, being an administrator or even an owner is not sufficient - there are ways to block access (even if a smart administrator knows these ways and can move them - but usually should not because they did not have access, usually for a very good reason).)  Here's how to change the permissions of folder under Vista:http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-vista/set-file-folder-permissions-vista/. To add take and the issuance of right of permissions and ownership in the right click menu (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article:http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/05/21/take-and-grant-full-control-permissions-and-ownership-in-windows-7-or-vista-right-click-menu/.

To solve this problem with folders, folders takeownership or the reader (as an administrator) and give you all the rights.  Right-click on the folder/drive, click Properties, click the Security tab and click on advanced and then click the owner tab.  Click on edit, and then click the name of the person you want to give to the property (you may need to add if it is not there--or maybe yourself). If you want that it applies to subfolders and files in this folder/drive, then check the box to replace the owner of subcontainers and objects, and click OK.  Back and now there is a new owner for files and folders/player who can change the required permissions.  Here is more information on the ownership of a file or a folder:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67717-take-ownership-file.html. To add take ownership in the menu of the right click (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article:http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/.

Once you have the permissions of all rights and ownership of the drive, then you can change the read-only attribute and should allow you to defragment.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • How can I convert an incoming call read only an attachment so I can change it?

How can I convert an incoming call reads only attachment so that I can change it? Save in Word does not it, and find research peut t.

So, the problem seems to be that attachments are stored as files read-only by Thunderbird and an application it can open without editing privileges, so you cannot change the. Read-only mode was chosen because these files are kept in a temporary location. For example, if you modify and save the back, they are deleted when Thunderbird is closed, so losing your changes. The idea is to force to save you to a different location. You should be able to do it, then open it from that location with full editing capabilities.

For a permanent change in this behavior, go in the [tools >] Options > advanced > general tab and click on Config Editor there. After you confirm the warning, copy - paste browser.helperApps.deleteTempFileOnExit into the search bar and switch false to true by double clicking on it. Now, saved attachments are created with read/write permissions, but is more removed when Thunderbird is closed (i.e., stored in % AppData%\Local\Temp).

  • can not remove read-only from folder

I am trying to remove the blue check mark next to "Read-only. (valid only for files in folders) The reason is that we use autocad and when we try our file of configuration of installation for it is not because it records in this file C:\users\xxxx\local\appdata\temp and when I uncheck us the read-only it is.

Here's what I did to try to resolve the problem:

    Uncheck the apply, ok

insured in respect of security, that the user has full control over this folder (temp)

went to advanced, owner and granted the owner of the folder

went to the actual and selected permissions tab the user name and ensures all effective permissions have been verified

insured under Permissions tab user has full control

I downloaded the reg. add_ownership and applied to this folder

I have added the user to the Administrators group in windows

    I tried attribute commands in the command-line as attrib - r + s "C:\users\xxxx\local\appdata\temp".

I downloaded apps from third party such that Manager of the attribute and the box still does not clear blue.

He returned and prevents us from working properly.

I tried this on other computers out of our area to see that if it was a thing of group policy, it is not - always have the question on the brand-new PC with windows on them out of the area. I would say that it is certainly a problem of windows for sure.

Here are some other things I've tried:

    disable anti virus

    Uninstall antivirus

    has ran malware bytes

installation of windows on a pc brand new and try the same thing with no luck

I tried everything in the book

    any ideas on that?

    It still does not

We ended by simply changing the location where autocad stores in another folder instead

    Thanks for your help

  • Impossible to delete some files on windows vista (read-only cannot be deselected, either)

Right... excuse me for grammar mistakes, I'm Dutch. So there you go.

I am a user of Windows Vista on a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC. I uninstalled World of Warcraft yesterday, and there are two files that I can't remove, no matter what I try. If I want to delete them, I first get this:

    http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/483/eerstdit.PNG

Can I get something I can't print screen for a reason, telling me to give my permission as an administrator of the laptop. What I'm doing. Then, I get this:

    http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/1054/endandit.PNG

Remains and stays and stays (you get the picture), no matter how many times I click on 'Retry '. Of course, when I press cancel, it stops completely, and the files are still there.

== Fun facts (or something like that) =.

    http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/7725/mapwb.PNG

None of the files are marked as "read-only":

    http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/6421/FileProperties.PNG

But the plan is amrked as such... However, the name of the map can be changed. (As seen when I changed it to 'h' instead of 'World of Warcraft' to see if it would somehow effect). The names of the files, however, cannot.

    http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/9439/mapproperties.PNG

When I try to change the map to 'no read-only', simply unchecking the box and try 'apply' or 'ok', I get the same response from the computer I get when I try to delete the files: no way I'll do .

I tried to do since the mode without failure of the laptop with the same exact results. I am the only admin on the computer (in fact, I'm the only account outside the 'guest' one) and Yes, I am enrolled in the two-person-list, who is an administrator (which is strange in itself, because, as I said, the other account should not exist even) have the files.

Of course I can't open the files, because the programs they were running with disappeared with uninstalling WoW.

    http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/5599/Openen.PNG

And this is my story. If nobody here knows, suggestions to other places that they might know are also welcome.

Try to use one of the following free products to remove the file/folder.  Unlocker to: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/Unlocker.shtml or file Assassin http://www.malwarebytes.org/fileassassin.php (with or without forcing the deletion: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/12/27/force-delete-cannot-delete-locked-or-in-used-files-or-folders-with-fileassassin/). These programs often work when normal functions remove Vista not work correctly.

If this does not work, it may be a permissions problem.  Try to give permission in their own right and also appropriate.  Here is information on how to do these two things:

To view your permissions, right-click on the file/folder, click Properties, and check the Security tab.  Check the permissions you have by clicking on your user name (or group of users).  Here are the types of permissions, you may have: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-are-permissions.  You must be an administrator or owner to change the permissions (and sometimes, being an administrator or even an owner is not sufficient - there are ways to block access (even if a smart administrator knows these ways and can move them - but usually should not because they did not have access, usually for a very good reason).)  Here's how to change the permissions of folder under Vista: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-vista/set-file-folder-permissions-vista/.  To add take and the issuance of right of permissions and ownership in the right click menu (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/05/21/take-and-grant-full-control-permissions-and-ownership-in-windows-7-or-vista-right-click-menu/.

To resolve this problem with folders, appropriating the files or the drive (as an administrator) and give you all the rights. You can change now switched to read-only (even if the main folder indicates that they are always read-only - you can access yourself as the owner).  You can keep them in read-only to other users, customers and administrators even (although they can support themselves and access, if they wish, and it is really not that you can do to stop it except protect the file with a password by using a 3rd party product.)  Here is more information on the ownership of a file or a folder: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67717-take-ownership-file.html.  To add take ownership in the menu of the right click (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/.

If this does not work, try to reinstall WOW and then uninstall it with Revo http://www.snapfiles.com/reviews/revo-uninstaller/revouninstaller.html instead of using the option to uninstall Vista (Revo does a better job and can cope with these two files during the process).

Good luck and I hope this helps!
