• Deletion of a Skype conversation with a Skype user

  I spoke with Skype chat help, which was no help. They had no idea.

  I want to delete a conversation with another user of Skype. Not all my Skype conversations, just some conversations. I don't want to 'Remove' a message in time to send it. I don't want to delete all my conversations. I don't want a new version of Skype, I. I don't want to "hide".

  I just want to delete a conversation and have increased from Skype. Such as the removal of an email.

  Skype can not help me. It seems it's not not obvious for Skype chat help.

  This feature does not exist in Skype. If you want to remove selected conversations then you need to use 3rd party applications (browser/SQLite editor) to edit the database of main.db file where all conversations are recorded.

  A strange thing happened this morning. I have a friend on Skype so that in the same office as a colleague of Instant Messaging. About half an hour after the chat with my friend, my colleague connected on Skype and a chat with me instantly open, window display messages of a dozen of the discussion between my friend and me. He did not receive the entire conversation, only some of the messages, and they were all attributed to me, even if my friend had written some of them. When he answered, his message has started a new, private chat with me, instead of appearing in the chat with my friend.

  It was not part of the original cat and we tried all kinds of ways to reproduce the error, so I wonder how and why this could have happened? I use Skype a lot for work and am now concerned about what is happening again with other colleagues with more sensitive conversations.

  There is a known issue with Mac Office versions prior to 2007 version that results in release of Clipboard does not correctly supported. Firefox 3.0, being a more recent application, using the new format for the HTML Clipboard data. Unfortunately, Office 2004 and Office X do not support this.

  If you upgrade to MS Office 2007, it should work as expected.

  I bought a new HP Pavilion a6803w Desktop PC model.  Installed a webcam, microphone, fax / scanner-printer etc..   I downloaded the game Flat Out Ultimate Carnage of Direct2Drive.com.  The game plays very well. I had to sign up for windows LIVE to play the game.  Everything about the game works... but I can't chat with anyone using my microphone,... its all just impossible,... I tried all the options before you contact these people in Helsinki in Finland!    Maybe it's what I have to do eventually.  Everyone in any given room can discuss "verbally" over their pickups, if they want, but I can not... I contacted specialists computer and even could not understand...!      I have Microsoft Vista Edition home premium 64... Just don't find this stupid micro bit!   Someone who knows someone who knows this problem... I would be very pleased to entrance!  Pullin my hair out here... Thank you!!!   After reading your post, it seems that your headset\mic works with other programs, and you have only one problem with FlatOut.  If this is the case, then you can try a few things.  You can perform a clean boot on your system.  This will help determine if other software can be the cause of the problem.  If you do not have to uninstalled\re the game you can also try it as well.  Remove the game from your system, use The Windows Installer Cleanup utility , and then restart your system and re - install the game.  Check also that all your hardware drivers are up to date.
