  My apologies if there is a solution that has already been posted here, but I need help.

  I'm trying to connect to Skype by using my Microsoft account (via hotmail) - that I can do via Skype.com to post my problem here.

  Since last Tuesday, I can't connect to Skype using the same login information. Later still, I changed my password on behalf of Microsoft and still no success.

  Every time now since Tuesday when I log in using my email address hotmail that displays this screen and nothing happens.

  Help! Is this a common problem or just my bad luck? I even re-installed the Skype application and it still does not work.

  It's to do with the Mac OS.

  Suffice it to say that you need to update to the Mavericks before using the application, it seems.

• I have a problem with my windows firewall. My configuration does not allow exceptions but IHA MESSAGE CENTER keeps popping up as a permitted exception

  In the control panel under general firewall is on and no exceptions are allowed. On the exception tab, none are selected. Anytime I can go to the control panel and see the message center by virtue of the exception and clicked IHA to be admitted as an exception. I turn it off and even remove it by deleting. I am the only user of this computer. I run MSE daily full scan at least once a week - onecare safety scanner scans are clean. It comes to message center pop in my exceptions allowed under Firewall several times per day. I think it has to do with Verizon, but am not sure. Anyway can someone tell me what it is and why and how can it appears under an exception allowed when I'm not allowing it? Thank you

I was trying to make a call to the Netherlands (long-distance calls in North America), my account was still more than 9 Canadian credit, Skype asked me to get a Skype credit to call the Dutch number, I added another 14, who brought the total credit to 23 CAN. But I couldn't even make the call, it still ask me to get a Skype credit. Why?

  Try to uninstall skpe (click on start-> settings-> Control Panel-> Add/Remove Programs) and download the http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/get-skype/on-your-computer/windows/ installation (free download of Skype) and install.

  Let us try these steps and see if that fixes the problem:

  (a) press Windows + R keys to open search Run

  (b) type regedit , and then click ok

  go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\BFE

  c) on the right, click it, click permissions

  (d) click on ADD and type everyone and click ok

  (e) now click on all

  (f) below, you have permissions for users, select full control and click ok

  g keys) press Windows + R to open Run Search

  (h) type services.msc , and then click ok

  (i) double-click base filtering engine service.

  (j) Make sure that the service status is started and the startup type is automatic

  (k) the procedure for the windows firewall service

  (l) click on apply and Ok.

  I have an old mac in 6 years that the battery exploded so I bought a new mac (Macbook Pro 13, 2015, running OS X El Capitan). I have an external hard drive that I backed up my LR5 the catalog and raw files on my old Mac. On my new mac, I have my EXHD plugged and the LR5 (of membership cloud of Adobe) running. I'm sailing LR5 to open the catalog on my EXHD do, essentially, on all my edits on my photos on my new computer. I get the attached message that it does not bc the parent folder does not allow for files to be created in the breast of the it.

  What should I do?

  Old mac still works so I was wondering if I could try to save the catalog on a USB (its about 4 GB) and rather than the new mac. Or try to save the EXHD catalog in a different way or something.

  I copied the EXHD catalog to my new Mac desktop computer and then sailed LR5 catalog on my desktop. WORKED LIKE A CHARM!

  When I go to: systems > overview of the system and select all systems and all the settings, I get an error message.

  You have turned on two-factor authentication? If so, try turning it off? A bit of a nuisance, but it could allow you to go further until they fixed it.

• Skype does not open on my desk, producing no error report.

  I am at a loss. I've been able to use Skype without problem for years, but from last week, I noticed that Skype does not open on my desk.

  When I start it, there is no GUI that displays, but the notification area of the task bar Gets the green icon of hollow, but no application launched on my Dowes. When I move my mouse over the icon that appears in the Notification area, it just closes.
  I've confirmed that Skype does not open and that there some process related to Skype in the loading Task Manager, when I try to launch Skype, and there is no residual enforcement process, remaining open Skype when the icon disappears.

  I have reviewed the windows event viewer and there is no error in production log.

  I uninstalled Skype and reinstalled 6.18 which is the latest version, and it remains the same, cannot start.

  I did the search for an old version of Skype to use, and they are the same.

  I haven't installed any new programs in addition to update my graphics driver on the last 340.43 earlier this week, but had the problem before this update. I also rolled back my graphics driver to check which was not the issue, and the problem remains.

  I use Windows 7 on an i7 with 8g ram and a 660GTX. the same I have now used for 12 months without problem.

  I ran it again on all of my steps.
  Uninstalled Skype 6.18 once again.

  Delete the folder %appdata%\skype tried previously.

  Delete the file %temp%\skype as prefiously tried.

  Restarted my PC.

  Retelecharge 6.18 and installed, same problems.

  I then repeated that the above steps once again, however, downloaded 6.14, a version that I had not already tried today.

  It appears to allow me to connect, and then it crashed.

  I then loaded back into it again and it came without a problem... This time.

  I'm now able to maintain a stable application with installed 6.14.
