Skype for Outlook Toolbar

Hello I am using windows 7 32-bit with outlook 2010 w / toolbar installed Skype and the new Skype for desktop PC. I like the integration of Skype with outlook, they have seen a im only problem is that the Skype toolbar have come very wide on the right side of each contact window and the message that I opened and covers a large part of the information that I have read. Even if I close the toolbar manually in the message or contact, the next time I open the toolbar is back. Is there a way to keep the Skype itegration but hide the toolbar of projection?

Just solved my problem... Looks like that just disable the add-in toolbar still keeps the integration that I wanted. All right.

  • Impossible to uninstall the Skype 5.5 toolbar

I installed Skype 5.5 which requires not in its installer to install toolbars in the browser (as in previous versions), but in the latest version it also does not install them as another application that can be uninstall individually from the application itself, or uninstall it with the main application. It does not either of the entry in the list of extensions.

Restore default toolbars is not resolved and I am getting error on start - TypeError: components.classes['@ ['@softage.ru/skype/SkypeFfExtension;1'] is not defined with or without Skype installed.

    Thank you.

«.. . "but in the last version, it also does not install them as a separate application that you can uninstall individually from the application itself.

Actually, is it possible that you are looking for the right place for the uninstall program? I also found it at first, because I was looking for something like "Skype click to call" in the list of programs to uninstall... In fact, it is listed as 'Click to call with Skype' (it is so under 'C' in the alphabetical list, no "S"). I think it's a little different from the old Skype toolbar, but I hope that what you are looking for, because it is automatically installed with the update of Skype 5.5.

I wonder if Skype has a good reason to create a confusion by the presence of a deletion process of different add-on than what is typical for the vast majority of the other modules in Firefox. My guess is that because it is not installed within Firefox, it also can be uninstalled like that.

I have not lived the error you made, but I experienced the annoying behavior / installing an add-on during an update to Skype without asking me if I wanted to first the add-on (or at least the option was not obvious) - particularly unscrupulous bad, given the problems of performance and stability issues in web browsers by the latest versions of Skype add-ons/toolbars.

That's fine if Skype thinks that their new version of the add-on is now rock solid, but self-confidence is not a reason to change my web browser, which is an essential tool in my daily... let that decision related to my confidence in the question of whether they deserve another chance or not Thank you!

  • Blocking of Skype 2015 Outlook

Can someone let me know what I should write in my hosts to block the new Skype in Outlook? Affecting the invisible keeps making it go available after some time and I see no point of having two Skypes opening.

    My current host is:

    127.0.0.1 skypewebexperience.live.com
    127.0.0.1 geo.gateway.messenger.live.com
    127.0.0.1 gateway.messenger.live.com
    127.0.0.1 messenger.live.com

    Hello

Yes, I think that I have the information you need, and it does not work for me. Too, I was very upset when there's (already blocked Outlook-Skype already) a week with GUESTS, who all of a sudden it was connect me again. I realized I had used the entry in HOSTS don't is applied more, and that makes sense, because in fact, Outlook.com has been reorganizing its Skype installer integrated whole.

Using Wireshark, I have determined that it is now the entrance, you will need to place HOSTS to block Skype to run:

    customer - s.gateway.messenger.live.com

Continue this in your HOSTS file with 0.0.0.0, that is to say:

0.0.0.0 customer - s.gateway.messenger.live.com well - I have a scroll wheel will all the integration of Skype which is unable to open a session. When I removed this entry, it then connected me automatically, so I can say with a good degree of certainty that it is one.

I wanted to help and give this info here, as others have helped me before - but especially because I hate the way Microsoft seem to think it's 'OK' to connect us all to Skype when we use email - while in fact, many of us want these two separate applications, and do not have everybody see while we're online.

Hope this helps anyone reading of this.

  • Reopened FF & found 2 strips not 20 + both for adding toolbars, how to stop?

I closed and seq. Reopened an hour later - it my 20 + tabs disappeared - 2 new ones in their place. I was asked to install a Yahoo toolbar and the other wanted to my good to install a toolbar of Downloader YouTube (CDA).
I don't want either and only had not asked either. (I had downloaded a stand alone YouTube Downloader program - but nowhere he said I would get to the toolbars with.)

(In this case, I found an option to "Restore last session" - and fortunately it brought back my tabs)

I looked in the Extensions and found one for CDA Toolbar - fortunately disabled. I removed it completely.
This will stop my tabs disappear again? And I can still use the CDA program without the toolbar?
I have nothing to allow Yahoo toolbar in so I have no idea why it turns up - how to stop it deleting all my tabs?

    Hello

Glad to know that you were able to restore your session on the Forelegs. Usually, this occurs if a program that you have installed on your computer tries to install the toolbars and plugins for Firefox. Please uncheck all the options for the facilities of the toolbar, the next time that you install the software, or at least make a note of these programs so that you know what to uninstall if necessary.

Come to the toolbar for a YEAR, I found this reference on the Internet, which mentions that the YouTubeDownloader program installs a plugin in the browser - CDA toolbar. You should be able to use the CDA program without the plugin also. I suggest that you keep the plugin disabled in Firefox mode and it will not interfere with your use.

And if you have chosen to uninstall the plugin, you can follow the steps detailed below.

To uninstall a possibly unwanted extension, please proceed as follows:

    1. In the Firefox Firefox window click on the top left and select Add-onsor, if the Firefox button is not displayed, click the Tools menu, and then click Add-ons.
    2. Once the add-on Manager has opened in a new tab, click the Extensions button on the left side of the window.
    3. You should now see a list of your extensions installed on the right side and buttons on the right side of each extension.
    4. To remove an extension of Firefox, simply click on the Remove button. You should see a message that informs you about the deletion of the add-on.
    5. Note that some modules require a restart of Firefox to make it disappear completely. To perform a restart of Firefox after removal of add-on, click restart now in the message.

You can find more information about uninstalling extensions in the following articles:

    Disable or remove modules

  • Skype for business

Anyone who uses Skype for business with Office 365 account of your company on Fedora, or any other version of Linux?

I work in an environment Windows as a Sys Admin, but there are a few Red Hat servers I administer also. I'm starting to find it has more of a need for me to work in Fedora Red Hat Administration (using Fedora 22 in a virtual machine). If it was my preference, I remove completely 8.1 Windows on my laptop and just use Fedora 22 all the time but my company uses Skype for business quite frequently for instant messagaing web conferencing, screen sharing and it's what keeps me back to install Fedora 22 because I have yet to find the Skype for Linux Business Customer.

For those of you interested, I just finished filling out an exhaustive search and found Wync. Found here (and Yes, it's a valid URL).

    Wync (http://tel.red/)

I tried in my virtual machine to Fedora 22 and it seems to really work, screen sharing, video calling and all.

    Hello

The community Skype is for the consumer to Skype instead of Skype for business version, which is a different program. It is for this reason that we recommend to contact Skype for support to the company or, where appropriate, support to Office 365.

    Hope that helps.
