When I download the image then begins to have jagged edges and overlooks the tablets. So I thought it was some performance settings, then I tweaked them and restarted a couple of times and still the same result. He would go on my desk but when uploaded to twitter as my profile picture is horrible. So I tried emailing the image of myself and the download through my phone. I opened the image on my iphone and it seemed fine as he did on my desktop but when I downloaded the image it makes then look blurry. I had this problem when downloading photos Twitter via my iphone, so it doesn't surprise me. I have read different forums saying: you must download it from the office, so I thought it would work like this. This could be a problem of twitter than compresses uploaded photos? Other people can do very much the same way, but it does not work for me. Please someone help me before I put my computer in an oven microwave.

  Yes. The rest, we can answer. You wrote a lot, but very little discussion. Instead of accurate information you lose yourself in the vague descriptions. Screw color management to the wrong dimensions that trigger resizing server-side it could be any number of things here.

  Compression is one of the most useful effects, he very probably asked is on the majority of the securities if speech or music.

  All sound recording gives you a dynamic range - which is actually the difference between the quietest part of the signal and the strongest.  In an ideal world you can leave it as is, but most of the time when you mix, if you define things for strong peaks, quiet rooms will be lost.  Alternatively, when someone is listening to your mix on headphones on a noisy bus or something, to hear the bits alone, you need to have the volume up so strong parts would hurt your ears.

  .. .and what is that compression.  It allows you to control the dynamic range of your recording.  As a general rule, you can configure it so that it refused the strongest bits and the two leaves the quiet bits along or, sometimes, it can turn up the quiet bits while limiting stronger parts.

  The problem is that controls to implement the effect of compression can be somewhat complicated to learn.  The simplest (and very useful) in Audition's effects/Amplitude and Compression/dynamics.  The default setting for this is a GUI rather than buttons and numbers.  If you spend a little time looking at the blue line, it gives you (and perhaps by examining some of the presets) you can see how, by putting mark on the blue line and dragging them, you can set it that way, for example, nothing can be more stronger than-6dB, then things between-30 and -15 are a little stronger (do not take these figures as anything other than an example besides).

  By the way, the Compression is usually used with a feature called "Embracing Gain" which raises levels to compensate for the limit you may have applied to the summits.  This can be in the compressor itself or using the feature to 'Normalise' under the menu even Amplitude and Compression.

  FYI, in addition to the treatment of the dynamics I mentioned, hearing has several other compressors - tube multiband, single Strip, modelled and so on.  They do things a little different, but I will not try to confuse you by their review.

  Finally, if you want to read about some details more compression/dynamic transformation, you can take a look at dynamic - processor technology and Applications on the site "Rane Notes."  It's hardware compressors but those of hearing works the same, and it gives a good description of what the various controls.

• CS4: join a zigzag line and a straight line

  I'm pretty new to Illustrator. I use CS4 on mac.

  Here's what I want: a rectangle filled in which the top and bottom line segments are straight and the line segments are two lateral zigzag. I can't find a good way to do it. It seems relatively simple during must be a method to do this, right? I apologize if this has been answered. I did a lot of research, really.

  The first thing I tried: a rectangle, then effect > distort & transform > Zig Zag. Which turns all segments of the zig zag of rectangle, and I want the top and at the bottom right.

  Next: Draw four separate lines and join them to make a form that I can fill. I can do that, right? In any case, the problem: I draw a zigzag line and a straight, perpendicular line. I select endpoints with the tool pen (right?) to join them. When they join, or both become straight and they both became zigzag. Which is not what I want or the other. Here is a picture of what I'm trying to do.

  The other thing I noticed is that the effect of Zig Zag does not give me additional anchor points (at least from what I see) and does not find anchor points where I want. See in the picture above, where the left side selected line, that there is a right way so I anchor points don't line up with the line zigzag that is visible to me. Which means that when I try to attach segments, they make funny shapes around the corner. Which is also annoying. This thread seemed to indicate that Zig Zag should give me additional anchor points on every corner: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/482958. Why I not get that? It's a question of CS4/CS5?

  Essential, I just want to this form. Any method that I can use in CS4 would be much appreciated.

  To draw the figure:

  1 rectangle tool: drawing a rectangular path.

  2 white pointer: select a segment (not an anchor point).

  3. cut to the Clipboard.

  4 paste in front.

  5. follow the Zig - Zag effect.

  6 expand the appearance.

  7 black pointer: select two traces.

  It seems that there is a temporal distortion effect in After Effects. Is it the same effect as that used to be in first?

  If I get After effects, After Effects (for example, timewarp) will be available in first?

  I wonder why Adobe removed the first effect. Looks like it was a decent, similar slow motion effect (but I don't quite know the same thing) like Twixtor. At least in terms of it's use of the displacement of the pixels to create new frameworks.

  If you are using Time Warp on a clip in AE, as long as you use Dynamic Link to get this model in Premiere Pro, functionally "usable" Time Warp in your sequence. Count on render hellacious times. Perhaps it would be better to make out of AE and import this clip in Premiere Pro.

  EDIT: To use dynamic linking, you must the Production Premium bundle. Since you said "if I get After Effects", does that mean you Premiere Pro only? If so, you can use the render/import instead of dynamic workflow - there is no way to use DL with the stand-alone versions of Pr and AE.

  What do you mean by "deletes the other effects? Do you mean that the other effects disappear in the effect controls panel? Do you want to say that you just can't see the results of the effects in the Composition Panel?

  I'll assume you mean than the latter.

  The time warp effect works on the original layer, not on the result of the effects that precede it in the effect stack. To apply the time warp of a layer effect that has other already applied effects, precompose the layer with the other effects first.

  I saw this happen when the Page layout on FireFox browser has been set to 80% (or probably anything less than 100%). Make sure that the setting and change it to 100% and try printing again.

  With the current versions of Firefox, you can choose to use the menu of Firefox (orange in windows; gray Linux) button at the left end of the Windows title bar or bar menus familiar as in earlier versions. The Firefox button is displayed by default only in Windows Vista and Windows 7, but you can turn on or off or switch between the two or temporarily show the menu bar when the Firefox button is displayed.

  Chain is quite right. If the same thing happens on an external device there is problem with the video card and probably the whole motherboard must be exchanged.
