  HP slate 21quad core android 4.2 k 100 all-in-one. The touch screen does not work. I can not activate the lock on the screen. When the wired keyboard and mouse are connected, everything works. There is not a plastic sheet covering the screen and I'm not wearing a glove. I have reset the Tablet two times but nothing helped. I've tried everything.   Hi, I just bought a book10x2 slate pc, running android 4.3 model number 10-h000sa.

  I really like it, but at startup I get the message "Unfortunately google game stopped" if I click ok it goes and the Tablet works fine.

  Someone has any suggestions how to solve this problem?

  Welcome to the HP Forums!

  I understand that you are having problems with the Google game store crashing on your tablet.

  When this happens the most common fix is to uninstall the updates to the app Store Play and clear its cache as well as the cache of Google Services to play.

  To do this, go to settings > storage > Apps > Google game store > press the button uninstall and confirm updates. Press the button clear cache.

  Go back and select the Google app play Services clears the cache on that as well.

  Restart your Tablet and let me know if it works.

  Can someone tell me what version of Flash Player, I need to install?  I have a new HP Slate 21 with Android.

  There IS NO MORE Flash player for Android. The operating system is therefore more comaptible with her.

  Android (Google) recommend you only use "The Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to display Flash content. They are both free in the GooglePlay store, and they use "rendered side Server" which reduces the load on the device, save your battery.

• 4.4.2 android update failed for the HP Slate 10 HD

  There is so today 10 minutes new update i saw 4.4.2 excited and I wanted to install it, but installation failed due to internet connection, internet connection simply collapsed and now I have android dead with red triangle, my battery was 98% charged 5 GB of free space. I have all of the options are

  Restart the system now

  apply the update of external storage

  apply the update of the Asian Development Bank

  Wipe data / factory reset

  Wipe cache partition

  Any program for this like Sony and Nexus have?

  The card adapter SD has a protection against writing about that switch?  (The small white ball?)  It is not supposed to not work in these devices...

  It is a failure because you can't restore an old construction on one that is newer (although she was not able to complete!)

  You can not put JellyBean on a device that has tasted KitKat.

  I'll try HP speeding download KitKat images for the 10 HD bug slate, but you may have to bug them too.

• HP SLATE 10: Corrupt 4.4.2 Android update HP Slate 10 HD

  There is already a question similar to what has been marked as resolved.

  IT IS NOT RESOLVED.

  I have a Tablet masoned due to a corrupted version of android being downloaded to it.  This new corrupted version has a timestamp inside newer than any file available at HP recovery.

  This means that any recovery is impossible until HP produce a file UPDATE.zip has a more recent than the update corrupted time stamp.

  It should be possible to produce a solution that restores the files internal datestamp on the Tablet and this will allow an update run.

  In the meantime, I had to buy another Tablet of a rival.

  HP released a new update.zip file to replace the one damaged.

  My slate model has been 3610ea.

  Downloaded the file.  Copied to a mirco SD.  Started the tablet in the recovery menu: POWER and neighborhoods momentarily after hold in the button volume +.

  When the recovery menu appears to load from an external support, and then select the update.zip.

  Now, please be patient...  20 minutes from random reboots puffs of heat, dead robots and bob your uncle the Tablet is alive again.  less software datapass

  Kudos to HP to fix this problem.  Even though I am 120 lbs down I need a Tablet 2 weeks ago and had to buy a good replacement market.

• HP Slate 7 voice tab display Android icon after I tried the update of KitKat candy

  Hello

  I had an Android update information on my HP Slate 7 voice tab to update the version of KitKat candy. Once I followed the instructions on the tab got hangd and displays the icon of Android.

  I tried the instructions online to restart, but to no avail as by pressing the two buttons at the same time: volume upwards and downwards with the power off buttons and release them as soon as the hp icon rises.

  It did not work.

  Any help with this problem?

  2 months back, I bought this phone. Today, there is an update on my HP Slate 6 for upgrade version of Android and once its done, the phone continues to display the home page frequently but againg goes back to restart with HP logo screen

  I have read other articles where the only way to restore the 6 slate is to do a factory reset, but I'm not able to go into the settings, as the rest home page only for a few seconds and then comes back to restart with HP logo screen.

  Need your immediate support to make my phone work again

• Android slate 21

  The other day, I bought my 21 slate with Android 4.2.2. Great device!

  I downloaded Skype but have four 'problems' - that concern three Skype - I can't solve, when being I:

  1. make a call from the other person can't hear me and I no matter where I look, I can't find the setting to correct this; and
  2. Enter a chat, that the 'Send' button is there (or not); and
  3. can not seem to reduce the size of the layout (from full screen to a smaller screensize).

  The last problem I encounter is with the space bar which seems to work (sometimes) as a return, rather then by adding a space.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  Hi, I did some quick checking and it's my results:

  1. her: I tried both video and Audio calls and both seem to work ok with the default settings.  As a quick test, you can use the Sound Recorder, system app came with slate 21 just to check the work of your microphone.  If this is the case, then it must be an app problem.  Suggest uninstall and reinstall of Skype.

  2 cat sending: I checked that this seems to happen with a connected external keyboard.  It seems to be a known problem with Skype as they removed the ability to send pressing on enter key (http://community.skype.com/t5/Android/Sending-Instant-Message-on-Android-using-Keyboard-Enter-Key/td-p/2033233).

  Until they fix I suggest to use the following workaround:

  a. type your message

  b. press arrow on the keyboard once (development of movements apart sending)

  c. press arrow down on the keyboard once (makes highlight move them down)

  d. Send button should now be visible

  The other alternative would be to unplug the keyboard and use screen on one.

  3 glassware: usually Android apps are full-screen only.  You can reduce your session will continue, and you can't have Skype side by side with another application.

  4. space bar: I know that some applications have limited support for external keyboards.  Applications that have been sent with your slate 21 should work reliably.  If you have some applications that exhibit this problem, please let us know that and we can consider the issue.

  In fact if you have a subscription to Microsoft Office 365, you can install the Office mobile for Office 365 app since the Google game on your Tablet and run Microsoft Word.

  I just bought another and it is running Android 4.4.2. As far as I can tell the h/w is identical.

  So, how to make my old unit to the new version of Android?

  Hello from a new Member of the site.

  I have problems when viewing the live stream on the app popularity (and other similar products) with the sound is not not in harmony with the images.

  I was able to use m.tvcatchup.com and plays files perfectly.

  I also use the popularity app on different devices android without problem. So I think I can exclude from my WIFI connection.

  I tried to reinstall both the Tablet and using System Restore, but the problem persists.

  I see no mention of a new version (Version 1.05.14), but it is not available OTA for me.

  I also looked for previous versions, see if that solves the problem, but I can't find them.

  So in summary is someone else to get her number? If so have you been able to solve?

  Also links to 7 slate Images have been removed?

  How can I get the 1.05.14 Version?

  A lot of questions but hopefully very easy solutions!

  The update to the version.14 may have been temporarily pulled due to some reports of devices users have wiped by the installation.

  I got it without any problem, but there are other users on the Forum who reported the issue.
