  I have HP w1907 desktop... I use it since 2008.
  Last month I format to have the new windows 7 in it... Previously I was also working with win7 Ultimate.

  But it's keep restarting after the use of 4-5 minutes and so I installed the entire operating system yet.

  It worked very well... after 3-4 weeks, when I started it, it gets stuck at the 'HP invent' blue Boot Screen.

  This display has the instructions to enter the "Boot Menu", "Setup" and "System Recovery" by pressing key "F11" aor "Esc", "F10".  It is just there for ever.

  If I try to enter the 'Boot' Menu by pressing the 'Esc' key, I get the message "Loading Boot Menu... ", but then it hangs there forever just.  If I try to enter the "Setup" Menu, I get a similar result - it says 'enter the Setup... ". "and just hangs there.  By pressing the "F11" key does not seem to do anything.

  Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  Date and the incorrect time can certainly cause problems.  What happens usually, however, is that the sites Web will not be opened because the State in which the certificate is not up-to-date.  I have not heard of the time and date causing the computer does not start.  I think that you need to change the CMOS battery.  Here's a guide on how to change it.  The guide has also some good troubleshooting information.

  Once the battery has been replaced, we'll see what happens.

  Restart the machine and check how it works.

• Windows XP will not load past the Blue error screen

  Hi, wondering for a while if someone can help me...

  My xp system will not load past the Blue error screen that is displayed when the computer stopped suddenly or inadequate.

  No matter what are the measures that you choose to take (safe mode, the most recent configurations... etc) the system will just beyond the blue screen on the windows logo download page, where the loading bar moves about 10 seconds before returning to the blue loading page.

  So far I have tried to leave the computer as long as an unused months while I was abroad, remove the battery for varying amounts of time and leaving the computer as long as a day.

  In the absence of a recovery disk, I have no idea how to do to return to the form and would like to receive advice or suggest, keeping in mind I'm not a computer genius (if had'nt you may have guessed). Preferably, without losing my element pictures and videos stored on the hard drive, but it's just preference.

  It does not seem good friend if the Windows operating system does not start even using safe mode, then I don t think you will be able to run the operating system without new OS reinstallation. :(

  To back up data from the HARD drive I recommend that you connect the internal HARD drive to external USB HDD controller and a backup of the HARD drive on another computer.

  Then you could try to reinstall the operating system on your laptop using the Toshiba Recovery CD

• Satellite M30: Blue error screen - how to diagnose what it is?

  I have a hardware problem, but I'm not sure of the exact nature. Even if I look like the hard drive or something to communicate with her.

  Well, if you n t have no experience in hardware or laptops so it of not easy to locate the fault.
  As jmatthews says you can try to check the Blue error screen. If you google around you will find also information about this error massage.

  In the past months, my computer has been the object of a freezing randomly, and Ctrl + Alt + Delete does not work. I stopped him via the power button.   I have no idea what to do, and at this point, my first priority is to save important files on the computer. Does anyone know what is the problem?   Start the computer in safe mode (press F8 continuously immediately after power and don't worry beeps when you press the button) and let it boot without a network.  Once there right click on the desktop and then click Properties.  Click settings and the value of the monitor mode (640 X 480) VGA or SVGA (800 X 600).  Accept the changes and restart the computer.  You should have a mediocre screen, but you should see it now.  Download and install the appropriate drivers for your video card in the laptop to the web site of the manufacturer of the laptop.  Install the drivers and then you should be able to set the display of the laptop to the correct native resolution for your computer monitor (must be in the documentation of the laptop).
