Sleep monitoring auto?

You just have to go to sleep with your watch on? Then it detremins how long you sleep. Because last night I did it and I check the health and nothing was there

Hello

Apple Watch does not include sleep as a built-in feature of follow-up.

Some third-party applications to provide sleep tracking features. Some of them also require a related third-party accessory, while others use the sensors to the watch.

  • Cannot turn off the prompt of password to wake up sleep monitor

So whenever my screensaver lights up and I'll be back to wake up the monitor I get the password of the user account guest.  I am running Windows XP home on a dual boot Macbook Pro.  I have the owner administrator account and staff use account for the safety of navigation, which is attached to Power User.  Regardless of which account I'm in, if the monitor goes to sleep, wake up, I have to enter a password, which is terribly boring.  I have the option "Ask for password when the computer wakes from sleep mode" unchecked under the Advanced tab of the Power Options Control Panel in the control panel.  I have my power supply mode set to always on while that plugged.  I also have my user defined in fast user switching accounts.

At this point, I wonder if the standard user account is an exaggeration.  Maybe I should do all my work on behalf of owner so that at home?

  • Difference between "Auto off" and "Sleep" on LaserJet P1102W

The user guide for the LaserJet P1102W indicates that the default Auto setting in the properties is 5 minutes.  "Automatic stop" drop-down list does not contain a setting of 5 minutes - rather it contains "never, 30 min and 1,2,4,8, & 24 hours."  However, the drop-down list 'Sleep' contain 5 min and other selections up to 1 hour.  What is the difference between auto-off"and"Sleep ".

I have several computers around the House than any print to the same printer.  I want to always available for printing without issue in the basement to activate it, but yet they want more economic mode.

What is the difference between 'Sleep' and 'Auto off' and how should I put them in my terms of service desired?

    Thank you.

    Hello

I understand that you are looking for some explanations between the Sleep and automatic shutdown of the Laserjet P1102W printer. I would be happy to offer you answers!

For your desired operating conditions, I think that you already put as you would like. Standby essentially puts the printer in a State of very low power consumption, but the printer can be awakened from this State by sending a print job (meaning you don't have to go to the printer to remove it from that State). The auto-off function off the printer completely after a period of time. The only way to take the printer out of State would be to go to the printer and press the power button.

To have several computers connected to this one printer I would recommend leaving the auto-off Never and Eve to what you think is the best. As I said, the printer will wake up fashion 'sleep' and accomplish what you ask without physically going to the printer.

Hope this helps, have a nice day!

  • HP 2311 x monitor won't sleep

I have my system my computer Setup will put my monitor to sleep after 10 minutes if the computer is idle.  The problem is that my monitor will not fall asleep.  It shows the system status menu, scan for input device, said so he'll sleep, power light goes Orange and a few seconds later he wakes. Then start the whole process again and again.  If I put the system to sleep monitor goes to sleep (didn't at first when I got until I updated the driver of HP).  I connected it to the DVI plug.

It seems that I found my own solution and I'm posting so it can help others.  Although my computer is about 3 1/5 years it has a DVI and VGA connections for the monitor.  The HP2311x monitor has DVI, VGA and HDMI connections.  I got the screen hooked up using the DVI connection.

I changed and hooked it up to the VGA connection.  Set the computer up so the monitor going to sleep in a minute and waited.  Monitor went to sleep and not wake up until I moved the mouse.  Tested several times more and no problem.  So apparently there's something with connections DVI monitor won't sleep when you use this connection.

  • New U2413 monitor won't allow my Mac Pro computer to sleep

My new U2413 monitor works fine. However, when I try to turn my Mac Pro (model 1.1, with OS 107.5) computer to sleep monitor goes to 'power save' mode that triggers the computer to wake up, the monitor return to power save mode, the back of the computer to sleep and so on. If I change the preferences of the computer to the monitor and the computer to sleep after 10 minutes, the monitor going to sleep, but the computer does not work. Any ideas? Is it possible to turn off the monitor power saving mode?

I tried your suggestion to use an external USB key to monitor the connection. It works!  The computer and the monitor can now go to sleep at the same time. The only downside is that the auxiliary USB ports on the monitor is no longer connected to the computer. So, now I need a hub USB powered, connected to the computer, since I have more USB devices (card reader, USB stick or two, two scanners and two printers) that the USB ports on the computer.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

  • Monitor goes to sleep during playback of a dvd in wmc

I browse my residential wireless to my server in the Solution Explorer. I mount a disk image file video dvd (iso, I'm 1507 of them) in the remote location on a virtual drive.

I installed an external software 'The Maxifier'. I go to the icon and choose the start page, WMC opens on the second display (projector). This process prevents it being trapped on the second screen of my mouse. Select (with mouse) movies/dvd and everythings great.

Unfortunately displays to sleep while the movie is playing (prevents other dvd playback software it) Screensaver is set to 'none' If food options (when to turn off the monitor) is set to 10 minutes they will sleep in 10 min. If the value 2 hrs. they leave in 2 hours. I can move the mouse or press a keyboard, and they wake up back. Everything works normally except the software MCE preventing sleep monitor during playback. cannot find any setting to solve this problem.

The problem is the remote computer is in my room, Planner normally wakes up the computer in the middle of the night, doing what he has to do, then fall back to sleep. (must be the internal code that the interview wakes the computer no display signal is sent unless there is user imput - oh well) Once the Scheduler wakes the computer it's not going to go back to sleep until the time of power options is obtained without user imput. (another pain in the neck) The sleep time can be lower timer monitor. If I set the monitor to 3 hours (longer than the movie), while I don't have the move disrupton, then when the movie ended I have to remember to put in a shorter time, or what I've done is completely close the box every night and leave the timer at 3 hours.

    Simplify the problems

1 MCE does not monitor to fall asleep during DVD playback.

2 when the Scheduler wakes the computer from sleep mode and finishes his tasks he does not put the rear computer to sleep.

Remember that the monitor and the computer will go to sleep under the power options are set to, not a pilot or external software issue preventing sleep.

  • How change the default resolution for windows to use when the monitor is not connected

Hi, how can I set the resolution by default that windows uses when the monitor is turned off or not connected at all? My problem is that normally I use 1920 x 1080, but when I put the pc to sleep or just turn monitor and leave it like that for a while with a few app maximized, when I get back and turn the monitor on the resolution is correct but the enlarged window is resized to 1024 x 786 resolution. I tried to change in the registry DefaultSettings.XResolution a DefaultSettings.YResolution in all instances and it worked fine for a long time. Then some update that happened and now it no longer works. I reinstalled the system, but it still does not. How can I force windows to use always the 1920 x 1080?

It seems that TMM disabling did the trick. Maximized windows are not yet moved to the left edge of the screen, well, those who have been maximized is maximized correctly as they should. I had to disable TMM through registry as I had no MMR in Task Scheduler.

If anoyone is interested I've followed the instructions described here:

  • 1600 x 900 external monitor on T61/X3100GMA

I recently bought a new external monitor (Samsung SyncMaster 2043) with a resolution of 1600 x 900. I have connected VGA cable to my T61, which has an Intel X 3100 graphics card. I've read elsewhere that this graphics card supports a resolution of 1600 x 900. However, the GMA on my T61 driver displays a maximum 1440 x 900 resolution when the monitor is connected. Even my paltry netbook with an Intel GMA 950 can produce the correct resolution to VGA connection screen.  I installed the driver for the monitor on the T61, but it did not help with the problem. Does anyone know of a way to get the correct resolution to work? I've read elsewhere that this might be a limitation of the strange BIOS with Lenovo?

A workaround is described in http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/T400-T500-and-newer-T-series/I-can-t-get-1600x900-resolution-on-my-exter.... Just follow steps 1-3 as shown in the site linked in the discussion forum. Use keys of your monitor auto adjust function to get a clear picture. Don't forget to change the horizontal lines of 1600 to 1599, Lenovo saw fit to block the resolution 1600 x 900 on ThinkPad recent.

  • Unable to set the display resolution, Intel HD 4600 in Device Manager displays ' generic non-pnp monitor low resolution.

I am slot as Windows 7 Pro on a Dell Intel 64 bit pc with a screen HD Dell I5 and Intel HD graphics 4600 driver.  PC woke up a few hours of inactivity, after no updates known to windows or other programs, with icons and pages double size beyond the limits of the monitor, setting the low resolution and Device Manager showing ' no generic pnp monitor low resolution ' instead of 'Monitor Dell HD' and no option to increase the resolution.  No help with reset, not restoration, disconnection and reconnection monitor auto plug n Play, 'Search new device', 'add a device', update of the graphics driver, reinstall the drivers from the Dell monitor.  Troubleshooting peripheral reported to date and working correctly.  After I finally uninstalled driver restarted, and graphic displays "default monitor" Device Manager (no longer "generic low resolution"), no graphics driver identified, but don't allow me to change to a higher resolution.  New windows had to be individually size / expanded to fill the screen.  This can be corrected?  I want to optimize my display settings for this monitor.  I have reinstall my graphics driver or just be happy that I can use my computer?  Thank you.

Call Dell.  Your monitor should have a 3-year warranty.  Your matching OptiPlex with a warranty of one year more.

Also, check all the hidden and invisible buttons on the monitor.  Someone may have inadvertently changed one of these.

  • Computer goes to sleep automatically.

    Original title:

    Yet another problem of sleep

    This one is different.

My PC will just goes to sleep. I checked the power options, looked at the process to see what is running, done everything I know and can't know why he won't go to sleep. I have the ability to set to turn off the monitor after 5 minutes and the hard drive after 10 minutes.

    Here are the different part.

    Windows 7 Professional

If I click on the Start button, go close and choose to sleep in the list, this 'thing' will go to sleep, monitor first, then hard drive and stays asleep until I have move the cursor or something to wake it up.

So what prevents it from sleep doesn't bother it once it is put to sleep.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Jerry

    Hi Jerry,

Do one by an option in the following article:

Windows 7 is not going to sleep

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/97687

If this problem continues after you disable a device, disable the devices in this list one by one until you determine which device is causing the problem. If you want to re-enable a device to wake the computer, run the following command:

    Powercfg - deviceenablewake " " DeviceName "order. "
    Open a command prompt window
  • Apple Watch battery problems

I received my Apple Watch, 38 mm, Sport edition yesterday and have been loving him. However, I am having a few problems with the battery. Eventually, I expect too much, but the battery seems to pass quite quickly. Last night, while trying to use a sleep monitoring app, my watch died 6 hours only, when there was a load of 95%. Today, I did a test and canceled my watch 20 minutes. I didn't turn it on, or even move. Less than 20 minutes, he had already lost 4%. This is how the battery is usually? Or I'm dealing with a real problem? In addition, all the patches? Currently I am restarting my phone and my watch. I wouldn't send it and wait anxiously for another week. Thank you!

    Hello

Battery life varies depending on use and other factors.

According to your daily use, it may be normal for your watch to require nightly charge.

During tests, for example, Apple has reached 18 hours of battery life with the next use: 90 time checks, 90 notifications, 45 minutes of usage of the app and a workout of 30 minutes with Apple Watch Bluetooth music playback. Other examples of the life of the battery when using different are available here:

    http://www.Apple.com/watch/battery.html

If your watch is shorter battery life than would suggest examples of Apple that you should expect, try the following steps, which have helped to solve the problems of the battery life for some users:

For optimal performance of your watch (including more efficient communication in energy between your devices), keep the Wi - Fi or Bluetooth enabled at all times on your iPhone.

  • Satellite L650D - LCD noise in the background

    Hello!

Please tell me there is someone knows solution or tool that will synchronize the LCD?
I have a noise on my LCD screen which is very irritating, is the strongest on a gray background.
On a white background (or other light colors) is ok. I can work normally, but sometimes it's tiring just my eyes when I'm working on gray themes or something.

Looks simular like noise on my screen on PC. I solve that by pressing the button on monitor auto config, but I have no button here :)
    Help, please!

    Hello

To be honest, I never heard about the noise from the LCD screen.
Are you sure that this background noise is caused by the LCD and not another part such as mainboard or AC adapter / CC?

In any case, you must follow the instructions posted by Akuma. Check the display settings and update the BIOS.
