  Hi, is there is no way to create a Master Volume Control / Mute button that controls the audio files on the entire Folio?  We have individual pages with noise when the page loads and there is a mute option for these on each individual page to help

  A few months ago, controls for volume/mute on my 4000 ergonomic keyboard stopped working. I searched this forum for solutions and found a number of similar problems, but none of the solutions worked on my system. Here is my configuration:

  • Windows XP SP3
  • Card SB Live PCI (audio embedded is disabled)
  • IntelliType Pro 8.15.406 software (updated 5.1; the problem began under this version)

  Here is what I tried:

  • Updated drivers SB
  • Use the original car audio system
  • Disable/re-enabling all audio devices
  • Removing the audio streaming software
  • New keyboard 4000 (not for this problem - just need a new one)
  • Return to the Bank of keys customized by default in the keyboard control panel

  None of them have worked. Any other ideas?

  I had the same problem, after a few hours of reading, I found my problem;

  • Run "services.mcs" without the quotes.
  • Locate "Human Interface Device Access.
  • Try restarting the service is running, if it is not executed.
  • Change the "Startup type" to "Automatic" and start the service.

  I started the service, and my buttons started working again.

  Put your XP CD in your CD/DVD player, don't let it start.

  Then: Start > run > type in msconfic > enter > extract the > at the top of the page type sndvol32.exe > to the second point in your DVD/CD player > thride type in c:\windows\system32 > then check out the file, replacing if necessary.

  Or

  Go to c:\windows\system32\dllcache and copy the sndvol32.exe file in your c:\windows\system32 and crush. To access this file, you need to enable "Show hidden files/system files" in Windows Explorer (Tools > Options > display etc.)

  I have Windows 7.  Explorer Windows automatically sorts my files in each folder.  I put in "sort by..." Name ', so for now he is sorting alphabetically, but no matter what I put in 'Grading', it does it automatically.  But I want to be able to move the files to the folder in different orders, and then once I'm satisfied with the order, then I can change the name of each file and then choose to classify them alphabetically or otherwise.

  For example, this is useful for a folder full of photos.  Let's say I have a folder with 50 photos in there of holiday, and I would like to re - order these photos, but I want to play visually with different orders until I have decide to order, I like most.  So I want to move each file/photo until I like the Decree.  To do this, I would open this particular folder in Windows Explorer, then select the "Large icons" view and then moving the photos until I like order.  And then once I have pictures in the order I want, then I would like to rename each picture (1, 2, 3, etc.) and then Windows Explorer say "sort by...» Nu.  That's how it was on my old computer, but I got XP and now I have Windows 7, but I can't imagine that Windows 7 would not let me do the same thing.  But the way it works for me now, Windows Explorer comes automatically orders/sorts my files depending on the option "sort by" I chose.  So if I change the name of the files (from 'Photo #25' to ' Photo #10 "'), it automatically goes this photo between" Photo #09 "and" Photo #11 ".»»  And if I try to move 'Photo #10' next to say "#37 picture"to see how they look next to each other, it won't let me.   A solution that worked for the restoration of some features.
