  I just started using icloud drive to store very large files, but now my local storage on my MBA has dropped way to several concerts less than a gigabyte. Icloud tent hiding too well locally? I can't find a setting for this.

  iCloud drive holds shadow copies of all the files on your Mac so you can always access your documents, even in offline mode. It is supposed to keep your documents synced to your devices, not as only an off-site storage to save space on the mac.

  You can't stop the shadow - on iCloud drive all files will be downloaded to your Mac, if you enable iCloud drive.

  If you want to iCloud drive as an external storage without the shadow, don't turn on your Mac, but only use the web interface at www.iCloud.com to download and view the documents there. But then you will not be able to see iCloud drive as a drive in the Finder.

  Your Subvi makes no sense since your loop will always leave after the first iteration and you always initialize your counter to 0 whenever run you it. This is a problem.

  Your code also suffers from several places that are made by the queue data. You will get undeterministic behavior since you do not know which dequeue will get the first data. In general, for a producer/consumer using the architecture queued one or more loops loops should be given enqueueing to the queue. A single loop must be made of data. These loops shuold run in parallel to each other. In your code, you can only run your Subvi whenever you press the Start button and as said you will always show the value 1 to the queue. What you need to do, is to have your Subvi managed independently once it is started. Use "Start Asychronous CAll" to start your Subvi when the Start button is pressed then let it just run. Have it post the meter to the queue. Your lower loop in main VI should remove the values and display them. You need not wait in this lower loop since it is the purpose of the dequeue. This loop will be inactive if there is no current data and run only when the data is in the queue.

  In the upper loop of your VI main remove the dequeue and the queue. You don't need them as the Subvi is all that is necessary to validate the data in the queue.

  You can also check what type of file has .wmv files.
  Go to the control panel. Click default programs.
  Click associate a file or Protocol with a specific program type.
  Highlight .wmv and see what kind of program is to open these types of files.
  By default, there are Windows Media Player.

  If it's another program, change to Windows Media Player and then try again to open the .wmv files.

  Manually delete the files in the AppData folder is never a good idea. It can damage the installed programs and programs might not work.

  I worked on issues related to the time to do a full scan with MSE.  I discovered that the MSE scan spent 4 hours going through the files in "\Windows\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\App Data\Local\Microsoft\Media Player\Art Cache\Local MLS". With the information of the community, I was finally able to access these files and watch. I was more then a bit surprised to find that the cover is the cover art for tracks I have in iTunes. I deleted some files and found out that the cover for iTunes still works. Windows Media Player is not just music cover art.

  So anyone know why Windows Media Player load cover art files on my system for iTunes titles? It loads the same cover for each track in an album don't ask me there are as many files in this folder.

  I have disabled the service "wmpnetwk" and if it does not start even when I restart the computer. Once again thanks to the community. So if I just delete these files that will be the end of the matter?

  Why is album art missing sometimes?

  The player would not be able to download album art from the database in the following situations:

  • You are not connected to the Internet during extraction of a CD.

  • You are connected to the Internet, but the online database is missing album art (or there is no media information at all) for the CD you are ripping.

• CP 2.7 and 2.8 data send problems

  I have a client who has 3 collectors installed on Windows 2008 Server (not R2).  They initially would not data to send to the site, optimize it and saved the data locally.  Finally, they received permission to send data.  I got registered collectors and after 2 days, two smaller collectors had 90% of the loaded data and big was charged at 60%.  All, this has been done using 2.7.2 build 36849.  They have decided to change the CP 2.8, then build 48432.  I removed from the ID database for 2 small sensors, disabled the collectors on the dashboard.  We have uninstalled CP 2.7 deleted everything in the CP directory and then installed CP 2.8.  None of them worked or indicated, if completely new VM servers were built and CP 2.8 on which is installed and a new company has been installed to optimize.  We sent the inventory data, or send performance data.  They have been uninstalled and reinstalled several times but no change.  The client then decides to return to CP 2.7 because I couldn't find something wrong with the installation and nothing on the sites to help.  So the new VM servers were built and installed CP 2.7 and a 3rd company was founded.  The first collector was recorded on Optimize but nothing has been sent to the inventory or performance.  They tell me that a yellow padlock shows on the collector and when it tries to send data, under the padlock, it reports that data is not sent.  According to me, that the security of their network has been changed to not allow the data to leave the site.  It is a facility of the Government which has very tight security policies.

  Any suggestions on how I can confirm that the data is not blocked?  I can't remotely access systems and they are a handful of States far so a visit is not possible at this time.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  In a pinch, I copied files in the Outbox and put them on a CP collector running in a machine virtual on my laptop to upload to the mother ship of my office.

• Why don't Folders\msgFilterRules.dat Local gets recreated (from where?) when Thunderbird is restarted

  I followed the instructions for hand edition msgFilterRules.dat repeatedly, having left off Thunderbird first, but when I restart Tbird I see the old state of the file instantly recreated. Very frustrating. I searched all C:\Users\Gary\AppData for any msgFilterRules.dat, only this one is one of my main account (with the name of my domain/server name) and is not to copy this one. It clearly restores a copy of what it was before.

  If all the tips already posted on the copy of the filters, etc., are quite useless for me, if I want to copy my main account in local folders.

  What do you mean that you need to get your SIM card fixed? It sounds like one of two things that cause you problems, either there is a problem with your SIM, or you need to troubleshoot your phone. Have what troubleshooting you tried? You don't list everything, and if you suffer from this problem since iOS 8, I would ask why you do not have the home phone? Who provides a service for your device, Apple, an Apple authorized service provider or your carrier?

  I have the mission critical data on a MQ01ABD100H of Toshiba to SSHD which was in a Sony VAIO for less than one year who decided to stop working from one day to the next. All I care about is the data. A professional data recovery company apparently reputable rated player, told me that it was a "mechanical failure", said they could recover the data and gave me a quote of $1500.00. A week later I was told something different; They said the platters and heads seem to agree and the problem seems to be on the circuit board and/or flash drive, and they didn't know how to recover the data. They told me that they have consulted Toshiba too. I asked them if they replaced the pcb Board and they would not tell me or answer questions more. I have the drive in my hands and am looking for options. I really believe that my data is recoverable if the trays are okay, right?

  Here's what I know for sure; the bios of the machine of Sony VAIO Windows 8.1, correctly recognizes the drive. However, it does not start and is not accessible or recognized with cmd prompt Windows 8.1 UEFI options. The drive is not encrypted. After putting the reader into an external enclosure and its connection to another Win8.1 machine, the player starts with no extreme sounds of survey. Slowly, she clicks a few times as if the heads are looking, but then calms down and keeps running quietly. I have installed a Data Rescue PC3 software that recognizes the drive and its attributes correctly but can't read or clone. I have the Partition Wizard software mini tool, which recognizes the drive correctly, but shows the drive as being unreadable.

Must the reader Flash itself be harvested? But what happens if the flash player is bad, how can the firmware ever be recovered? Any ideas anyone? ... other than myself shot in the head, I'm kidding. I think that this may be a common problem that will often not resolved.

  I am not an expert but if applications cannot access the data and cannot read data from the SSHD then you will need professional help...
