When you pay for something is should mean fewer problems either.

• Photoshop CS2 brushes looking scratchy?

  First question usually is you use the pencil tool and not the brush, but you can't have the pencil strokes, so I don't think that's it.  Nor does look like spacing, because that would produce characteristics bumpy.  In fact, it seems that you have a small bristle brush chalk, but with the size and angle of the whole jig.

  Try to reset the brushes, (I'm guessing it's the first thing you tried).  Then try to reset the preferences.

  If problems persist, have a good look the preset Panel. Special attention to the dynamic formand delivery options.

  Another thought, what is the value of brush blend mode?  Dissolve could give these results.  I used the blend mode to produce this Visual gag Photoshop a few years ago:

  The two current brushes A, B and erasing, all have independent settings for their size (RADIUS), the feather (soft-edge) and throughput (opacity).

  Shortcuts are size: square brackets []. feather: shift + []; flow - key 1 to 9 = 10% to 90%, 0 = 100% key or type for example "57" directly.

  If the stream is set to nothing, brush or gum has no effect and if located at halfway, he has a "semi-transparent". A zero or low 'throughput' setting seems to fit with what you describe; or perhaps very small size brush.

Well, I want to make them appear in the thumbnails of my portfolio online (with the work of caricature), but do not know how to proceed. I tried to use Alt texts, but they do not appear in Firefox or Explorer... Is there another way that I'm missing?

• The stylus pressure

  I had a Tablet pressure for awhile now. I just bought a new PC and although the Tablet is installed and works very well, it is does not record sensitive pressure in PS.
