Smart phone BlackBerry Smartphones is malfunctioning after the upgrade.

Hello

I just got my blackberry a few weeks ago, and it worked perfectly until I've downloaded BlackBerry Desktop Manager, plugged in my camera and updated... It works much more slowly. There is a good 5-15 seconds when you try to access the menu of the delays and it will freeze while I'm answering incoming calls. Also I woke up no longer works. There is no sound coming out when it goes off, the volume is set to high, but it still sounds when someone calls me. It worked before the update, and I changed no settings after. Is there a way to roll back the update. I thought that updates were supposed to solve problems and issues, not to create them.

Thank you C

PS It's a BlackBerry 9000 by Rogers, o/s. 4.6.0.303

Hmm... When he began to occur after the update I removed the battery put it and restarted it, but it did not help. Five minutes ago I accidentally dropped it it and the battery fell... Turn again, and it works very well, so far. I guess that it needed, it was a quick kick in the * beep *, as may parents TV old

  • BlackBerry smartphone App Vanished after the upgrade to registered test?

I downloaded an app from last week (iRecordIt for health monitoring). After the trial expires I set up my account paypal with the appworld and bought the full version, after the purchase he made me reboot, so I did, and when I did the first thing I noticed was the app was no longer on my main screen in the top6 section. But this isn't on my phone anywhere, I checked every folder. It can be accessed by going to AppWorld > MyWorld, but shortcut icon / what that either current deletion is really annoying because it is an application frequently used for me.

Any ideas on how to get the application to display correctly? It cannot be copied or moved or whatever it is from MyWorld or settings > applications of the screen, so I don't know what to do.

I just got this blackberry "BOLD", my first blackberry and this is my first real "purchase" of the appstore so it probably has something to do with it lol.

HA! I have a physical batterypull on my phone and the icon of this app is back on my screen of welcome where it belongs, weird, but it worked !

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Ringtone problem after the upgrade

    Hi people.

Friend to me has just upgraded its OS "Bold" and during the process, he accidentally pressed the button cancel on the charger. He continued the upgrade again after and everything works perfectly EXCEPT that now the ringtones are all sounded even!  It can find the list of ringtone, but when he played I, it all sounds the same.  Seemed that the ringtone database was damaged for some reason any.

Beside you WIPE the device, is there another way to restore this function in full?

Well, a backup and restore of the database "should" certainly work, but if it isn't, then wipe and restore the operating system on the device should, as indicated.

This theme has the software and the instuctions to do exactly that:

  • Smart phone BlackBerry Smartphones does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Blackberry App World

    Hello

I just all new BB Curve 8900 on Vodafone. Its the first BB I've owned and I seem to have a bit of trouble. When I try to download the App World, I get the following error message:

"Device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Blackberry App World"

    How can this be?

OK then... interesting for Vodafone to push support far... Well, by I guess.

So I guess that I change their instructions... rather than to remove an installed version of the AppWorld in the way they suggest, I suggest go to:

Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications

See if BB AppWorld is listed as installed. If so, highlight (but do not click) it and then press the BBKey and select Delete. If she wasn't there, then continue on these steps.

Then do a batt pull reboot:

With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.

Then re - activate your THS:

Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > BBKey > sign up now

Then re - send all the service books:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB02830&SLIC...

    Then do another reboot batt-pop.

Then, get a new link for AppWorld from here:

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/appworld/download.jsp#tab_tab_download

And re - download and install it.

I hope it's going to go right. If not, then it could still be useful a call to Vodafone...

    See you soon!

  • BlackBerry smartphone password reset after the end of support

I have no more phone support.

My old password does not work.

I can't get my ID blackberry for work.

I want to just this device to open.

This means that you have your employers device, they have you removed from their network and forced a new password to you. You can call to ask what is the password.

BUT, probably, their intention to reset the password is for you to do a wipe of the device security so that none of the persistent employer email, data, etc., remain on this device.

After clearing security, you end up with essentially a new, fresh, device with no previous, ready to install as a personal device data.

I've updated BBM from version 7 to 7.0.1. After the reboot, I found that my BBM was gone. I checked my world in Blackberry World, to see that it is installed, but it was gone. I had to reinstall version 6 to BBM. Version 6 installation means that I've lost the BB voice that came with v7. Nobody knows where and how can I get the previous version 7.0.1. IE version 7?

  • Smart phone BlackBerry Smartphones search featureunder settings no longer works

While in the settings, I used to be able to tap the magnifying glass and the type of keywords to quickly find a specific setting (for example hits 'Wi' to appear 'Wi - Fi calling Menu', which can be found manually through settings > more > caller Menu Wi - Fi). However, after the last update of system, most of my searches returns no results. I tried looking for a bunch of different settings, using a few letters or setting full/label, but almost all of the results are blank.

What is strange, is that I was able to search with success the main Wi - Fi setting and the main setting of Bluetooth, but only after I opened manually these two parameters. For example, the first time that I searched 'wi', nothing came. Now, it brings up the main Wi - Fi setting (settings > Wi - Fi), but no other system settings that contain "wi". I was curious, why I was able to get at least a result during previous searches returned anything. I thought that maybe I had to manually open the connection setting Wi - Fi before it would recognize it as a game, so I tried this 'theory '. I searched 'b' and got no results. I went to settings, manually open the Bluetooth setting, then returned to the page main parameters and searched for 'b' again. It worked, bringing the main Bluetooth parameter. I have a little more luck with the other parameters of the system.

Got an update today and I am happy to report that it works again. Thank you, BlackBerry!

  • Smart phone BlackBerry Smartphones wiped clean - all restored but NO E-MAIL

My Bold 9700 was wiped yesterday (long story on the children playing with a password protected BB!) In any case, I was able to do a full restore of the backup on my desk minimal info was lost HOWEVER since the wipe clean I have not been able to set up my email properly on the BB accounts.  I go to "manage email accounts" and I still see all accounts there.  I select one, enter my e-mail password for this account and click on 'check' and each time (for each account) I get the following message - "sorry, impossible to continue your session. Please log in again. »

Can someone help me?  I use this BB for work and I really need those on there email addresses before Monday AM.

    Thank you!

Before Monday AM?  What in ten minutes?  We are here for you!

From the browser on your phone, type http://mobile.blackberry.com .  Scroll to the bottom for Communications and electronic mail.  You can set up your email adddress (es) from there.

It's actually quite simple and easy to downgrade the OS on your device. Follow the instructions posted on the link below:

    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/How_do_I_downgrade_the_OS_on_my_BlackBerry%3F

Similarly, I would recommend simply instead upgrade to the latest version of the operating system for the 8310, see link below for directions:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones "Tasks" icon after the operating system upgrade

Just upgraded (?) to os 5.0.0.771, 9000 "BOLD" on Telstra in Australia.

This update was offered by an email from RIM.

The 'Task' icon has now disappeared, and I can't sync my tasks with Outlook.

Any ideas how I can get the 'task' back, or if I then try to re - install the update?

Simply plug the device back in to Desktop Manager and run the application loader.  Make sure you check the box for the tasks in the list of applications.

    Thanks, did it, didn't work.

However, the upgrade was kind enough to do a backup, which I restored it, and now all fixed.

    Thanks for your help

  • Phone of blackBerry Smartphones is block after the time-out period

I recently installed Blackberry Protect on my curve. Before installing it, my phone never locked and required a password to backlight timeout. Now, the phone crashes and requires me to enter a password to use the phone. I would remove this requirement lock without removing Blackberry protect. If anyone can help?

Honestly, a device security password is not necessary to protect.

You can disable in Options > Security > password.

Hello everyone. When I try to load the OS 5 on my Storm 9220, the app Loader (and also DM) 'Uploading RAM image' cling for hours and no progress. What should do?
