  How can I get FireFox to work on the first version of the Google ChromeBook? Everytime I open it it said to update or upgrade to FireFox and make it your main page. So I downloaded it and it's open once it is installed, but then a message appears that says "can't stand" search for an application that supports FireFox and its software, or something of the sort. I was sitting here with a full battery when I started and now it is dead... and I still don't have FireFox on my ChromeBook.

  It is designed and done a little differently from the likes of Windows and Linux and will not support another browser being installed.

• Record of. PDF with repeatable subforms adds a new Instance.

  I have worked with dynamic forms LiveCycle Desinger for a few years now, and this is the first time I see this kind of behavior.

  I have a very big form in LiveCycle Designer. There or 50 subform repeatable sections. I save the designer, and then open it in Adobe Acrobat X Pro. Acrobat Pro, whenever I have re-record it then re-open, a new instance is added to each subform repeatable.

  If I fill it, save it, and then reopen it, he has all my info, as well as a subfrom empty additional below each section.

  I have no formcalc in the presave, nor do I have any global fields in my form... In addition, each single repeatable subform named. I am at a loss.

  I have a sample of this pdf here. If you have a different file hosting site you prefer, do let me know.

  I'd appreciate any help anyone could offer. I don't know what is the cause.

  I found the answer to my problem. I had a devil of a time from Googling the problem, so I'll put some sentences that I tried below, where like-minded individuals has a similar problem.

  The main problem was with data binding. I had left the data binding for all as the default 'using the name (...) '. I was under the impression that as long as the sibling elements have been appointed to the same thing, there is a conflict. I was wrong.

  In my form, I used static subforms to organize the fields available in a dynamic repeatable subform. The static subform called "sf_positioning". It happens that this field has an uncle named the same thing. It was close enough to provoke a conflict, making the repeatable subform record an additional instance whenever the data has been saved. This can be corrected in one of two directions... ((1) set one of the subforms wrongful use "no data binding" (use this only if the content of the subform is not be exported or merged) or 2) give the subforms of unique names.

  I need to look if everything must be particularly well appointed... As I said, it makes more sense to me that the only restriction should have been on the sibling elements, but I will in the future to make sure there are at least three degrees of separation between just like named controls/subforms.

  I know that the download speed is slow and you need patience with downloading drivers. AFAIK VAP is designed to model different laptops running Vista and I really can't believe that the file is damaged. I recommend you use a download manager. Please try it out.

  On my 'to-do bar' under "show hidden icons" I show 2 occurrence of Norton Internet Security supposed to be running.

  How can I confirm how many times it is running.  It seems to be the same product.

  If I look at 'taskmgr' it shows as 2 instances of work?  Why would it be?

  Any ideas.  I know I should probably symantic asking this question, but I can't find my passwd info connect there right now.

• Remove the tags in Windows Photo Gallery

  This question is about the photo gallery Windows on a Vista operating system. My question is about the drop-down auto-liste of tags that grows each time you enter a new tag. Handy if you want to use something you've used before but a nuisance if you want to erase it. I figured out how to remove tags on the pictures still on the computer. My question is about the images that have been deleted and is not recoverable. There is always this tag leftover junk that applied to these photos that I deleted. appears whenever you try to add a new tag and resists all efforts to remove it. I contacted gateway computer people since they installed the operating system and got the solutions really wild just to remove the unnecessary tags. I thought that everything you enter, you should be able to delete... just... but this has proved to be a great puzzle. I hate to have to do a restore to original factory specifications and lose everything I've added to this day to get rid of these pesky tags. In addition, it simply repeats the problem unless I have find how to remove the little monsters.

  Hi Jo,.

  It's a good thing to be careful when you edit the registry.  In your case, as the registry key seems to be very specific to the Windows Photo Gallery, we can export the folder safely we are change.  Be sure to close the Windows Photo Gallery before you start.

  • Click the ball to Start .
  • Type regedit in the box start the search.
  • Navigate through the folders on the left at the following key:

  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Gallery\Library\PreviewPane\LabelAssignment\MRU photo

  • Right click on the folder MRU in the left hand window and choose export.
  • Give it a file name (no matter what you name it) and save to the desktop.
  • In the right window, you will see keys named MRU00, MRU02, MRU03 etc...
  • Right-click on these keys and click on delete.

  Once you are finished, close the registry editor by clicking the x in the upper right and restart your computer.  When she returns to the top, open the Windows Photo Gallery and see if the tags are gone.

  If you receive errors of ANY opening of photo gallery, simply, do a right click on the file that you have already saved on the desktop and choose Import.  That will undo any changes that we have made.

  My HP 6700 is no longer connects to my wireless network.

  1. the icon for wireless connection of the Control Panel indicates connectivity and provides the network name and IP address.

  2. I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer drivers.

  3 device Manager is normal... no problems detected.

  4. I tried to connect to two different computers in different rooms, but no luck. No computer is able to see the printer.

  Let's try the following steps:

  1. If make sure that the printer is not located too far away from your router, however to ensure that it is also not placed within 2 metres of your router, 2-3 meters will be an optimum distance to test...
  2. Click on the wireless to the printer icon, then click on settings and select default network. confirm to any guest and a confirmation e-mail should appear.
  3. Click on the wireless icon again and then click on settings, click on Wizard wireless and reconnect the printer to your router, now check for the difference.
  4. If it persists, try unplugging your router from the power for 10 seconds, let the 2 minutes to start and then turn the printer off and turn it back on. You can see any difference then?
  5. If the same persists, try to update the latest firmware using a temporary USB:

  You can see any difference now?

  I own a Dell Inspiron 580.  Recently formatted my computer and now I get a random crash once a day.  This is the info that I can find in the event log if that helps.  Let me know if I can give you more information to solve this problem.  It's very frustrating.  It seems to happen when I alt tab of a game for a window.

  Which should I download?

  You can either download the pre-compiled. ISO you want to burn to a CD and then boot from the CD, or you can download the automatic installer of the USB. What this will do is format your USB drive, make a boot device and then install the necessary files. Both do the same job, it's just you that you choose, or you have available (be it CD or USB).

  Note that some older generation motherboards do not support USB boot, your only option is CD (or floppy if you really wanted to).

  How does Memtest (you don't need to read, it's only for those interested in the details):

  Memtest uses algorithms (more precisely two), namely move reversal & what is considered Modulo-X. Essentially, the first algorithm filling memory with a pattern. From the address down, it checks to see if the model has been changed (it should not be), wrote the complement of bosses, increments the address and repeats. To from the highest address (as opposed to the lower), it follows the same checklist.

  The second algorithm is due to some limitations, the first being that all adjacent cells are currently tested for interaction due to modern chips being from 4 to 16-bit wide on the storage of data. That said, bosses are used to move forward and ensure that all adjacent cells have at least been written with all the possible combinations of a and zero.

  The second is that cache, buffer and disorderly execution implementation will interfere with the moving inversions algorithm. However, the second algorithm is not affected by this. For the offsets of 0-20 start, the algorithm will write every 20th location with a pattern, write all other locations with the addition of bosses, repeat the previous (or more) times and then check each location 20 for the reason mentioned previously.

  Now that you know how Memtest actually works, it is important to know that tests it passes through all mean something different. It will test 0 through 12 trials, which many use one or the other algorithm discussed above, among many other things.

  Hi, I'm using PSCS4 and I'm on XP.

  I thought I'd ask this until I started my project.

  I have a job to create a trade show display booth. There are 13 put graphics in place of wall panels. Normally, I see each one in Photoshop. 11 are the same size, half the size, and we're not really apply to this question because it is small and above a door.

  I was instructed to apply a background image of a map of the world to these graphics, but not on each separate chart, but acorss the surface of panels. (could be split it halfway because there is one side, and then others, like an L shape.) Here is a picture of a drawing I received with no top work yet.

  

  I wanted to know if there was a way to do what I think it would get tricky with bleeding involved and such. There are also strips inbetween each Panel (as you can see in the picture) and I guess I want a few things to line it up right. I could do it the way I normally would, while making sure that I get in the right places, but I was wondering if there was a way to throw all this somehow differently.

  I'm a little confused as to if you're talking about making the full size for the cabin or panels panels for a perspective view rendering. MTSTUNER approached the second possibility. Here is some info you might find useful anyway.

  If I understand you correctly, you ask how to create something like below. Except that there will be additional graphs on each panel above the map.

  

  Here is a way.

  Do a front view of the walls: first create a rectangle the same proportions as the panels. Customized size. Then copy it and move it to the right of the width of the Panel. Repeat the process until you've done 13 panels. I've marked the corners with yellow. The door is black (duh!) Now scale the Panel to the left of the inside corner right width 50% do half a Panel. Now, move the panels on the left until everything lines up again.

  

  Now stick your card in and turn it to match your view of wall.

  

  Now split the two-part plan. We need to divide above the door. Thanks to the miracle of the tectonic plates, we have a convenient place to divide the map here. The Atlantic ocean on a line to the East of Newfoundland and West of Africa. With the set selection tool to see the transformation of the controls, I chose the half left and did drag the handle to the right until the corner (yellow line). Then do the same with the right half, align the left edge with the right of the door. (To avoid resampling the card twice, you could split it before adding it, then turn each half to fit.)

  

  Here is the result. You can now create your individual panels.

  

  To create the first Panel on the left, Ctrl + click the thumbnail of the layer of the Panel. Select the layer of the card.

  

  Now copy the selection into a new layer (Ctrl + J). I name this layer of card Board (awesome!) 1. It is now the background for additional graphics. Repeat for each Panel, including panel half.

  

  Here are the first five boards, including the left wall (I would group). I added a race outside panels to simulate management panels. Then he pushed them just to realign the. Now you can select each Panel and add additional graphics on the map. You will work on a sign at a time, but you can see how the wall looks like as a whole. Repeat for the other three walls. (Or you could consider the three panels to the right of the door going aroud the corner one.)

  

  If you create full-sized panels or a perspective view, the method above might work for you. At least conceptually.

  To apply the over to a rendering of the cabin, create a perspective view of the room, as described by MTSTUNER. Then merge a copy of each group of wall in a new wall layer. Apply to each new layer of wall to the perspective grid. Below, you can see the result. The work was forshortened and skewed to the right perspective.

  You can manually download and install updates:

  There is something to do with the help of CS5 > update function, but as far as I know it does work as expected more.

• Repeatable crashes on properties > additional metadata (mac)

  Hi all.

  New user here.

  I just bought CS5.5 at my local Mac store and am running Acrobat Pro 10.0.0.

  I'm working with pdf metadata but I get repetitive crashes on a file > properties > additional metadata (click once or twice) on my pdf /all/. This is regardless of the source of the pdf file and it was repeated after the removal of several Adobe plists as reproducible on a Test account. It also happens on my MacBookPro and my Mac Pro. I am running Snow Leopard.

  Apparently advanced technical Assistance is supposed to get back to me in the next day or so. Did anyone had this problem and/or has an idea of where to go to fix this? Is someone using this feature on Mac with success?

  Adobe does not confirm the dates of any future bugfixes to the public. Each bug is prioritized based on severity and complexity, as well as the calendar is constantly evolving. Thank you it's frustrating.

  Properties > additional metadata into force button takes you to the XMP library, so as much metadata is not encrypted any other software that can manipulate XMP will see it too (like Adobe Bridge, and there is a whole list of things here). In Acrobat X, if you want to see (but not change) the XMP tree, you can use Preflight (it's a bit messy but it will show you the data):

  Open the preflight tools > Print Production Panel, then choose something out of the list of profiles or audits that isn't a fix (i.e. has no key symbol). All you want is to run something without making any changes, you are looking for in the results window. Click on analyze, then on the result window, open the overview > Document information tree - all your metadata are there.

• Repeating offers to install the additional content in first items 10

  After installing first Elements 10 "successfully", everything seems to be all right the first day. All additional content appears in the menus, just as it should. But the next day, when I get home from Premiere Elements, I'm greeted by a message saying that the additional content is NOT installed, and I would like to install it? (See image below).

  I have installed and reinstalled first Elements 10 at least 5 times, then on the multi-plate DVD version, I bought and downloaded version first. I get the same message.

  Although there is only the simplest installation instructions printed with the DVD, I followed the instructions for installation as shown on the Web. The programs control panel indicates all additional content from Adobe first Elements 10 is installed. If you click 'Yes' in response to the full to install content warning, the system goes to UNINSTALL additional content, because it is already installed.

  I am running Windows 7 64-bit, processor Intel core i7, 12 GB of RAM and masses of storage capacity. No other programs are defective. I am not a novice in computer science and have used different versions of Premiere Elements version 3 on since 10 years. I also have Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and Adobe Lightroom 4.1 on my system. I wonder if there is a conflict with another program, perhaps something totally independent of first Elements10. Something is perhaps the PE10 triggering, forcing him to lose that extra content, indeed, was installed. May a registry cleaner, such that CCleaner, TuneUp Utilities 2012 or other utility of some being clear essential tweaks?  Furthermore, although it shows as being installed in the Control Panel, none of the additional content is available within the program after the second day of use, even if it was there the day before. This type of error is a new one for me, and frankly, I'm puzzled.

  

  I think that I finally stumbled on the reason of the problem. I have another program, tune up Utilities 2012, I have used for many years. It's a kind of Toolbox of utilities, among which are automatic and 1-click maintenance routines that occur behind the scenes, but send a message onscreen after execution.

  Yesterday, I reinstalled first Elements 10 again another time. All additional content was there, as usual. I stopped the system from one day to the next. When I turned it on this morning, everything was still recognized and present - all additional content.

  While in the morning I was working on other tasks and I noticed that the message of the 1-click maintenance routine was executed. Now, I'm taking no chances, so I re started immediately Premiere Elements and that is! and here! -additional content has been are most recognized.

  AHA!

  I then used one of the functions of the development utilities to restore the 1-click Automatic changes, what he had done, and then restarted first Elements - all additional content has been recognized once more.

  My conclusion: the registry changes made by tune-up utility caused the problem. Apparently, it detects a Premiere Elements-associated registry entry that she assumed incorrectly as an error.

  Needless to say, I have informed the tune-up commercial support and stopped the program to run until they clarify or solve the problem.

  Thus, it may be that it is not a question of Premiere Elements, although it always seems strange that a registry entry is that questionable.

• Is there a faster way to add text repeated in addition to the hand tool?

  Every day I receive several documents to edit and to each, there is a page where I enter the date 3 times. The file come with me so I can't do the thing in javascript, others spoke. I just go to tools, add text (date) and then use the hand for copy/paste tool. However, since for some reason hand tool that she pours just in the middle of the screen and I have to drag it to the area I need, I found it faster just to keep clicking and typing in the date I need.

  Whenever I do this, I keep thinking, "there must be a better way." Are there?
