  • HP officejet 8600 not find network printer (macbook pro and windows 7)

I have installed the new software, set up the printer on the wireless and I can see the printer on my Airport Extreme, but I'm not during the game to the top (I can print via USB). I pulled out of Installer and is went on the forums and found a similar problem with an OfficeJet 6700. I followed the instructions given to the downloaded drivers from Apple. I could then see the printer online... briefly. I even hit print, got 12% in the printing process, but it died on me (not printed). I restarted/rebooted everything (printer, macbook pro, computer windows laptop and router) and no dice. I added the printer manually on the mac using the IP address, and I can see it. It gives me even a Green State, but when I try to print a document, the State of the printer is busy and turn until I have delete the print queue. I don't see anything when I'm in the box ' print and scan "to the default setting, that I should be able to.

    Any ideas out there?

I thought of it. I have a router using a double NAT and I had put the printer on the network of comments, as almost all of my devices are out there, but comments network does not allow access to other devices, only allow access to the internet. Installs everything other than mobile devices at "home"network and everything worked."

  • El Capitan 10.11.2 disconnects from the network of Canon printer macbook pro after each use but with the same OS version iMac remains connected

How to prevent my Macbook Pro El Capitan 10.11.2 going to disconnect my network printer Canon?   My iMac running the same OS version don't unplug and behaves like any normal wireless connection.  I deleted the printer and added back, reset printing, etc. nothing works.  Given that the Mac is 6 "each other and 5 feet of printer during the last test, it must be something specific to the Macbook.  The Macbook identifies the printer after each reboot the printer as printer Canon right, but once the task is completed does not have the printer.  Everything is on the same wireless network. Computer Windows also recognizes the printer and it keeps alive after printing.

Please read this message before doing anything.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

Test in safe mode. Same problem?

After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.

At one point, I don't have Air Print showing next to the printer in system preferences. Printer and scanner works well, but I was told by someone on this forum who Air Print should not see. How can I remove Air Print. I have a Macbook Pro Maverick 10.9.4. HP Scan version 4.1.1. Belkin F5D8236-4 router

Everything worked fine (might print wireless from the Macbook Pro, IPad, and IPhone (using AirPrint on mobile devices).  Got a new modem cable Xfinity and our old Belkin router not Gigabyte connection, so I had to get a new router.  New Belkin and Netgear both wouldn't allow printing of Apple products however, they all managed wireless connected to the internet via a router.  (I work on a PC and surf/printing was never a problem).  Do you have some research and suspicious with compatibility Hello and router issues.

Then, I put old Belkin in service and, unfortunately, now all products Apple cannot print with it.  (All still connect to the internet through a router).

I tried everything and can not replicate the success I had before.

  • Have the new MacBook Pro, made Apple updates for HPprinter c309a scanner, I can print, does not scan.

I have a new MacBook Pro retina and have spent at the Apple updates and updated my c309a scanner all-in-one printer HP Photo Smart.  It will be printed from my computer but will not scan.  It worked perfectly with my 2008 MacBook Pro.  Can you help me get the scanner to work?

The c309a is networked with a PC and it works.  Why the Apple update does not resolve the driver, or whatever is the problem, so that I can scan from the MacBook Pro-Maverick?  All this has worked in the past.

Yes, using the preview method works, but the other two do not.  When I get to the point where I would see print and Scan - I don't have a printer and Scanner of choices that do not allow me the choice (s) from there, as suggested...

Guess I'm stuck with using the method of previewing until Apple finally gets the appropriate update to solve this problem.

    Thank you.

  • Printer HP C310 hung wireless for MacBook Pro does not allow me to choose printing options.

Just replaced my MacBook with a MacBook Pro (NICE!) I have an iMac that has my C310 printer Photo HP Smart connected on it.

Pulled up the new laptop and it was immediately find and access the right printer YAY?

I run an online business and am constantly printing on purchases (portable) coming in. My PROBLEM is that I am not given ALL the printing preferences options, all prints off the coast in color I don't need (price wise - considered ink as)

The options are given to me on the iMac I think that since it is literally connected to it. However, on my old MacBook that I had a few days ago the options all came when I went to print (wireless connection as is the new MBP).

Any thoughts? I tried to click on anything whatever possible in screen printing that is displayed when sending to the printer and he basically tells me what I'm doing not giving options for change to the basic black that I need.

For starters, you can remove the software and reinstall it from the link provided below? Let me know how the printer responds and if these options are put at your disposal once more.

  • Is it smart to play games like World of Warcraft on a macbook pro 13'

    Hello

I'm new to this forum, because I just bought a Macbook Pro 13' of 2015. I used to play games on a computer with windows laptop, but I bought a Macbook Pro for my work and study. I want to play games, but only if its not harmful for my Macbook. I tried to play WoW and he did work properly but the thing is that the fans inside the macbook has started to blow very hard. And the macbook started to warm up, I don't really know if it's a good thing...

The question is: is it smart to play games like World of Warcraft on macbook pro 13' (2015)

I really hope that there is someone in the same situation as me, and he can tell me his opinion on this subject.

Play with the airy machine on a clean surface to allow better air circulation.

  • MacBook Pro & Samsung Smart TV: could not get the display via HDMI

    Hi Forum members,

I'm not able to get the display of macbook to smart tv via HDMI cable.  Here are some of the conclusions that I have. Can someone please shed some light on this weird question.

MacBook Pro Rentina 13 "El Capitan 10.11.5.

    Samsung Smart TV 48 "UA48J6200

    Crush - HDMI cable.

    -TV says 'No Signal'.

-J' checked the cable is good since I'm able to get my Dell Latitude processors E7450 and controller display.

-Go to Preferences > display. I see no possibility to detect the display etc...

-Able to connect same macbook to the sony smart tv at my friend using the same cable and it's all good.

At this point, I am not able to understand where is the problem... TV or Macbook

    Thank you.

Hmm. Have you tried to get your friend or someone connect to your Samsung Smart TV?  It does seem like your Macbook or the cable are the issue.

Edit: actually re read your post. I think that to see the option detect go to Preferences > poster under view press on and hold down the option key. bottom right, it should appear.

  • How to enable two-sided printing on MacBook Pro with Canon MX490 printer

    Hello

I have the MacBook Pro (retina, 13-inch, early 2013) and OS X version 10.11.4 (15E65) and Printer series Canon MX490.

When I try to make a double-sided, the printer settings printing does not allow me activate two-sided printing.

Also when I go into the settings of the printer, there is no option for me to select this option to enable printing double-sided or duplex printing etc..

When I try to print with TextEdit settings, I still get the same printer settings and it does not allow me to enable two-sided printing.

I couldn't find answers online, and frankly it's frustrating. I would appreciate if anyone can help with the problem.

    Thank you very much!

This is the screenshot of the settings under the printer to textedit. Sorry I don't tie with the original message earlier.

  • No printer available for the new Macbook Pro

I got a new Macbook Pro 13 inch OS X El Capitan.  I used my Time Machine backup of my previous Macbook pro to get running.

Everything works except printer / scan options.  When I go to system preferences / printers it says "there is no printer available" even when I click on the

+ symbol.  The folder library/printer has the printer options.  I tried the recovery of backup options, but still no printer.  Ideas?

    Hello..

    "no printer is available."

Visit the website for your printer manufacturing and research of drivers for v10.11 El Capitan compatibility you can download then install.

BTW, your new Mac may have been sitting in inventory for a short time, that is why it is running v10.11.3.

Download and install the v10.11.4 update on the App Store and then download and install the drivers for your printer.

You can access the App Store by clicking on your high Apple  left of your screen, then click on App Store. When the App Store opens, select updates from the top of the menu in the window of the App Store.

Your Mac may restart several times during the update process. That's ok.

  • HP officejet pro 8600 - cannot print from my macbook pro

We just bought a new HP officejet pro 8600 but for some reason, we cannot get my macbook pro to print on it. My mac says it is connected to it. It is listed in the printer only and all the settings look fine, but when I send a document to the printer, it will not be printed. He did print the first day we had (a week ago) but it stopped and we cannot figure out what to do. My daughter's PC will be printed, as well as the pc of my husband. It is the first time that I had problems printing to a hp from my mac. Any thoughts?

I had my Officejet Pro 8600 about six months.  Recently, I had the same problem.  It continues to print from my Windows computers but not the Mac.   Labour goes into the impression that it is place on a wedge.  I tried many fixes, including the removal of the printer and reinstall.  Usually removing and reinstalling it will fix for a while, but now, even that does not work.  In my view, that the permanent solution is to buy another printer.

  • 10.11.4 OS update printer drivers deleted on my MacBook Pro

After the execution of the last update on my MacBook Pro (13-inch, late 2011, 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB of RAM), I can no longer print or scan documents. All my printers are missing from system preferences. I downloaded and reinstall the drivers Support from Apple. No luck... still no luck.

    Help!

What is to happen, it's only when add you the printer in system preferences. Ether, you should get the drivers to use or if necessary a pop arrives, asking you to download it. Are you able to add printers?  https://support.Apple.com/kb/PH21719?locale=EN_US & viewlocale = en_US since I do not know which printers you are trying to use it's as far as I can tell.
