Smartphones blackBerry and text email

I have the Curve 8900 and I didn't understand how to separate my normal text of my email messages.  Whenever I get an email it goes to my messages folder and my e-mail folder.  Does anyone know if there is a way to separate the two?

Thank you

Messages folder > Menu > Options > General settings > SMS and Email = separate inboxes.

That will move your SMS messages in a separate folder.

ALL your e-mail messages will go to your main messages folder, you can't change that.

Just hide your specific e-mail folder, it is not really necessary.

  • Question of Smartphones blackBerry about Blackberry and my email Web email.

I am currently using ATT Yahoo Web Mail, and I have a Blackberry Tour, which has been configured to receive emails from my Web Mail in turn.

My situation is that whenever I get a Web Mail and then it is sent to my lap on my Web Mail it shows that its in the open State. I was wondering if there is any way to solve this problem. What I want is that my blackberry Tour to be separated from my Web mail only for its open state between the two.

Also, I used this with Yahoo Web Mail and not ATT Yahoo Web Mail with the Blackberry Tour where it was made exactly cela where the blackberry was not Web mail whenever I open it from my blackberry. So I wonder if its an option that must be pushed or do I need to contact someone for this be resolved because I contacted Yahoo ATT and they suggested that I need to contact support by email BlackBerry in this regard as they said that its more likely that the BlackBerry server is causing this situation , but I want a second opinion before I try to call them.

    Thank you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BES and BIS emails for display separation

Just bought a Bold 9000 (my first BB) and very disappointed that separation of BES and BIS emails is not a standard feature. BES can be displayed via the files of common messages that shows everything, including BIS emails/SMS/IM etc. BIS messages can be seen in their respective folder (i.e. yahoo/gmail)

There is a product like know empower (http://www.getempower.com/)is a PURCHASABLE third party product that is supposed to separate the mails, but it is certainly a good way to provide this functionality as part of your product that I won't have to sift through all of my emails and understand those who are BES/BIS.

Empower the BTW does not work on later versions of the o/s of BB and this means that the "BOLD" is assigned. Come on guys, the sort...! Either buy empower and integrate into your device where it can be updated with your resource ample or build something that focuses a bit more to the needs of the customer.

BES 4.1.5 gives you an option to separate BIS and BES mail. Also the sms/mms can be separated as well.

  • Smartphones blackBerry and email roaming

I'm new to Blackberry and have set up my email to my handheld as it comes in my Inbox mailbox.

I'm soon going on foreign holidays and don't want my emails to push while I'm foreign because of the cost of roaming.

Does anyone know how can I activate pushing off the coast while I'm away?

Do you know if your on a BES (receipt of company e-mail on your device and your device is configured by your IT Department), or BIS (just receipt of personal e-mails)?

If your on a BES, then your IT Department can disable forwarding of e-mail on your account and then turn it back on when you get home. I believe you can also go into Messages. Options | E-mail settings and set the "Send Email to handheld".

If you use only BIS, you can enter in your BIS carrier site and go the section filters on your email account. You can then set the filter to not forward messages to your device.

  • Removal of Smartphones blackBerry and reading the emails in Outlook not reflecting only not on Blackberry

I've set up by O2 of BIS and links to 3 email accounts.  They are all IMAP.  I start Outlook to connect to these accounts from my laptop.  Almost everything works perfectly.  Always receive emails for delivered to Outlook and Blackberry OK.  If I open an e-mail or delete it on Blackberry, then this is reflected in the accounts of e-mail OK.  All emails deleted on the Blackberry are displayed in a basket on my email account.  What does not work, it is when I delete or read an e-mail in Outlook.  This is reflected on the Blackberry and I have to manually read or delete messages on the subject.  All the settings for accounts on the Blackberry look good balance that is wireless enabled, the victories of the mailbox and delete on handheld and mailbox is enabled.  If I do a balance now, nothing happens, read and deleted messages are still on the Blackberry.

    Any ideas anyone?

You need BES to do, only BIS is not enough

Yes, that's correct. No data plan = no email, no BBM surveys, etc.. Nothing which requires BlackBerry services.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry and Smartphones are interchangeable on e-mail networks?

I am a user of BB Curve which is changing jobs to another employer who uses the Motorola what. Can I use my curve if the employer does not use a Blackberry corporate email server? In other words, the BlackBerry and Smartphone are interchangeable on the e-mail systems?

You can use the curve not BlackBerry Enterprise server. But you can use BlackBerry Internet Service and integrate professional email address via POP/IMAP/OWA and still continue to use BB. Your IT will know if they have access POP/IMAP/OWA.

  • Smartphones blackBerry lost all emails & SMS after change of date

After that I updated my BB Bold 9000 date 6 July 2015 , I lost all received emails and text messages. It is amazing that this can happen without any warning. This certainly isn't the first time that I am losing all my data. It's so frustrating that I am strongly considering leaving BlackBerry and switch to another brand.

An assistance service, you can call and talk to a real person also seems to be not implemented to BlackBerry. Maybe they hate costomers?

    Your comments are welcome.

    Let me know.

I am mainly interested to recover SMS lost - are. I have seen that it is possible to use back pointing up. How to recover SMS throughy this method? I don't see TEXT in the list.

Connect your BlackBerry to your PC via the USB cable.

    Open Desktop Manager > backup/restore > advanced.

In the right pane, you will see your device data, in the left window, you will see your backup data. Do scroll through SMS messages and see if there's something there.

IF you do not see the backup data in the page on the left, above the pane, you choose file > open and navigate to your specified IPD backup file and open it.

In the left pane, navigate to the SMS database and highlight the

Key. Don't come here to criticize the volunteers very well here, either. Check my 26 000 posts here and see how understanding I have for frustrated users. I have very little understanding for rudeness.

    Karim says:

I can count tens of thousands of users who have been helped here.

It is excellent for those thousands, but is not strange is that a device needs a forum where thousands of users need to go to get help because they are lost or frustrated. The best provider is a provider that does not need a helpdesk because everything is clear. This seems to be impossible these days

Of course, it is not strange that there is a forum like this. You have quite a learning curve high on BlackBerry, and you have users. Combine the two and you have gobs of questions.

    Karim says:

It is if you have a BlackBerry with Vodafone BIS data Plan. How do I know this?

Call your carrier and you ask if you have the BlackBerry BIS data Plan. They will know. It should be on your billing, as well.

    Hello

You have little free memory left on your device. 15 MB is considered to be minimal, you

You have a lot of third-party applications on your time BB, icall, bbalerts etc?

I don't know your level of experience, so if you know I'm sorry but if please read and let me

not know if this is the case.

Most people close the applications by pressing escape or the red button. This does not close the applications.

Each application has an option CLOSE. For example, if you are in the calendar, press the menu key (spotted) and scroll down to the bottom CLOSE is listed. Go through each application and then press close. Go to the menu press browser and options select cache operations clear all categories and reached escape it will say cleaning memory.

Go to options - security - garbage collection - enable. The BB will now clean up the memory when idle for 5 minutes. (if you have this option)

Follow the steps in this article written by JSANDERS for the release of the memory. The article contains JCLARS OPTIMIZE YOUR MEMORY GUIDE.

    http://www.BlackBerryForums.com/General-BlackBerry-discussion/116396-managing-your-BB-memory-lost-CA...

If you follow these steps and face up to your memory, your phone will run smoothly.

  • Smartphones blackBerry deleting old emails

    Hello!

Someone out there will know the answer to this.

I recently had to remove an e-mail address, and then reinstall it. Unfortunately, before I removed it, I forgot to highlight all my email as 'read '.

After removing and reninstalled the email address, rather than to have an empty Inbox and 0 unread emails, I have an empty Inbox and 41 emails not read. It is of course always store the old email somewhere or pick up the unread number somewhere but I can't work where.

Could someone post or PIN me with a solution to this. I know someone out there has done this at some point!

    Thank you

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

We can answer here, in this forum.

Tips to clear the message unread... try them in the order.

If you have a new icon rogue Message on your home screen, or a negative number (-1), one of these solutions could erase or reset:

    Try these options:
    * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or with the BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)
    Messages > saved Messages
Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
    * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date
Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
    * Clean and reload your OS.

You can update your profile here to provide your name and model carrier of BlackBerry device, so that when you have a question, what information should be asked from the start. Click my settings > personal information and then SAVE at the bottom of the page.

  • Smartphones blackBerry synchronization of Emails

    Hello

I'm having problems receiving emails from work on my Storm2!

We have a microsoft exchange without BES server and I wanted to know if there is anyway to sync my phone wireless with mail/contacts/calendar/tasks etc. - its seems to be what making known, but very slowly, my device is the display of read and unread emails, but this isn't what is on my work PC!

BlackBerry offers an app for that?

To receive emails on a Blackberry need it a BES?

I thought owning a Blackberry was going to revolutionize my experience of e-mailing, could simply go back to the iPhone!

Since you are not sure, I do notice:

    • You come to offend those in a support forum for users of BlackBerry with your threats of iPhone community.
    • Then, without pause, you criticise these comments as "not constructive and it does not help anyone.
    • Oh, can pretend you that you know what I mean... lol.

So, learn to play well with others and act like a big boy now and let's all agree well in the sandbox sand.

You can't do what you are wanting to do it via WiFi. It's just not possible. I'm sorry. There is no 'midlet' for this purpose.

    Your options are, roughly:

    (1) synchronize your contacts, calendar, notes and tasks via USB > Desktop Manager > Outlook. Your mail will be pushed via a BIS account. It syncs, but rather to "reconcile" for your mail server.

To synchronize contacts, calendar, notes and tasks and balance/ELECTRONIC MESSAGES on your device:

    (2) get an account BES, Exchange shared hosting server to something like hassles for the BES server.

    (3) to host your own blown full BES server, Exchange and get a BES of your carrier account.

    (4) try the new BESX when available. See the RIM site for more details.

I might be missing one option.

  • New to the blackBerry Smartphones Blackberry and LOVE my Storm! Now, how can I get the best party?

OK, I am new to Blackberry and devices in general.   I had a Palm, but never really used.   Now, I have a Blackberry, I really want to learn how to get the most out of it.

I want to get more organized with my calendar and schedule.   I want to keep a list of things to do.  I want that all my contacts easily manageable.

In my Palm, she had a beautiful desktop app where I could add Notes, or memos or items to my calendar and then synchronize when it would move anywhere in my Palm.

The B; ackberry Desktop application does not seem to have that same out of the box user friendilyness.    So my question, what program to use, how total, all this together to get the most out of my Blackberry?

    Outlook?   Google Calendar?  Another program?

    Thanks for any suggestions!

    Jamie

The most transparent way is synchronization with Outlook, via the Desktop Manager.

Step 1 install Blackberry Desktop Manager Manager of
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/

    Step 2
Connect blackberry to your PC via a USB cable and let the blackberry device driver install. During the device driver installation is complete, it will warn 'material installed successfully' in your windows taskbar.

    Step 3
Run the Blackberry Desktop software and choose the option SYNCHRONIZE.

    Step 4
Now choose CONFIGURE and you can select the CONTACTS, CALENDAR, NOTES, and databases TASKS by clicking on the boxes next to each. After you select each item, it will ask you which application you want to synchronize with, there are OPPORTUNITIES for all.

    Step 5
Now click OK on all windows until you are on the main blackberry Desktop Manager screen. Click SYNCHRONIZE. Make sure that the SYNCHRONIZE ORGANIZER DATA checkbox is checked. Now, click SYNCHRONIZE NOW to start the synchronization.

  • Sounds of Smartphones blackBerry for alerts (email, text and voicemail)

Forgive my ignorance, this is all very new to me. Where can I find (other than the selection of the plant) different sounds to alert the type of message that I get.
