Help of Smartphones blackBerry with wifi / email setup my BB9700 unlocked

Hello

I had my (very old) BB9700 unlocked for my daughter and the SIM works fine for calls and texts.  It seems to connect to the wifi (symbol), but when I try the browser I get "unable to connect to the internet, please try again later" and e-mail implemented only allows me to choose a "e-mail account work with a bb Enterprise Server.  I can't find the manual op and it's been long that I was a user of bb.  Can anyone help?

Thank you very much

p pod

Yes, that's correct. No data plan = no email, no BBM surveys, etc.. Nothing which requires BlackBerry services.

    Hi all

I'm having a problem with my Blackberry. BBM and internet work very well, but my e-mail does not work (I can not receive or send emails). When I click on the email configuration, nothing happen.

I called Orange, and they told me that it is a problem with blackberry and not with the operator.

Does anyone have the solution for me? or a number to call the Blackberry service?

    Thank you very much!!

If it has not been suggested by your company, try to send the service on your phone directories.  To do this, on your home screen, follow the installer > >(Menu Key) E-mail accounts > Service books > Send Service directories.  No more problems with configuration of e-mail can be resolved by typing www.blackberry.com/integrate in the browser on your phone.

Let us know if that helps you.

  • Storm Smartphones blackBerry with html emails are truncated

    Hello

I just got my Storm-love it. I put it to the top with gmail (which seems very well) and my personal domain email (which is not).

Whenever I have reply to or forward emails with html, the resulting message reach its destination scrambled.  New e-mail created on the BB are fine.

The error happened when I responded to messages from Yahoo, verizon and aol (so far).  I tried to disable html in the options, but it did not help.

  • Browse smartphones blackBerry with WIFI

I'm new on the BB pearl 8120 and have a question that would be easy for most of you to anwser that I am sure.

Can someone please tell me if my internet connection is through the connection Wireless at home or if I connect in fact across the network. I mean there must be an icon or something to make a difference between the two. Otherwise I could spend hours on the net, assuming that I'm connected via WIFI when in fact, I got to be connected via the network.

My WIFI is being picked up by the phone, because his name is displayed on the phone but I don't see any distinct way in to connect via broadband wireless, so I guess it's the same browser button to connect.

Any help at this point would be much appreciated.

If someone also has the phone number for BB United Kingdom support, would be nice.

    Thank you

When I am connected via Wi - Fi the theme I use (the theme of the T-Mobile) shows the mobile network and my Wi - Fi network, so I know I'm connected. If you want to be sure that you use the network Wi - Fi then make sure to set your default browser in the HotSpot browser (Options > Advanced Options > browser). This browser should work only when you are connected via your Wi - Fi network.

  • Phone No. Smartphones blackBerry with Wifi connection on...

    Hi guys

During the last two weeks at home, I've not received phone calls when someone tries to ring me. When I try to resonate, the call 'fails' every time. If I turn off the Wifi, I can send and receive calls normally.  Not had a problem before, and when I check "service status" and diagnoses in the phone, he told me that everything is OK.

I use my phone with an Orange livebox wireless router, which shows also without flaws.

Any ideas what could cause this problem?

    Thank you very much.

Hmm... seem to have healed it by resetting with the battery. Will try it for a few days and come back if it continues!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry pearl 9105 email setup problems

I have the new handset that was originally on orange, had it unlocked to use my sim 3... Cannot set up an e-mail address with the phone and the blackberry messenger does not work? Can not find options on the phone to do the sorting, put online is not a problem, it goes directly to the page planet 3?

    Hello

    A few possibilities:

    (1) your prior carrier has not released your BB PIN of their BIS. (Must arrive before point 2 can work).

    (2) your current operator has not assigned an account of adequate data to allow the BIS.

    See this FAQ:

  • Smartphones blackBerry with wifi at home

We don't have 3 g in our region.

If I want to connect to my home WiFi, should I get out the check to [disable] "mobile network" AT & T and have only a selected Wi - Fi connection?

    Thanks for all the time!

You can all the two leave checked, but for the love of the battery, if the unit continues to search for the mobile network, disable it.

  • Smartphones blackBerry with Blackberry ID problems

I deleted my Blackberry ID by clicking on the link provided in the confirmation email that I received when I first created it. Now when I want to check my account or put in another SIM, he still asks me to connect, but I don't know my password longer (am now at 6 out of 10 attempts). At the same time, when I click on the option 'forgot password' it tells me to make sure that my BlackBerry ID enabled one I typed the right e-mail address? !!!

How I can ged rid of it all? I don't need a Blackberry ID and want to just my phone as it was before I created this account in the first place. Help, please

Yes, a wipe will delete all user data and perhaps all the 3rd party apps... see these for reference:

    • KB26694 How to change the ID BlackBerry PlayBook, BlackBerry tablet or a smartphone BlackBerry with BlackBerry 7
    • KB16307 Actions performed by the BlackBerry smartphone during the removal of the user stored and application data

If you use your BB (I'm not on this point), you can make a backup of your data first with Desktop software and then restore after completing the BB ID wipe and other things..., it would be better to wait the restoration before know of things work well, just in case where:

You should also probably do a selective restore rather than a wholesale restoration... just to be sure restore you only the data items that are important (e.g., contacts, calendar, etc.) and not on the databases that could be problematic if restored:

    • KB03974 List of database for the blackBerry smartphone

In addition, it would be a good idea to use a desktop app Organizer for your data, rather than having your BB as the "main source". With a compatible organiser, you can synchronize between your PC and your BB all these data, which then allows you to forward to your full size PC monitor/keyboard/mouse to actually work with the data:

    • KB12268 BlackBerry Desktop Software for Windows supported for synchronization applications
    • KB03315 How to synchronize Organizer data (calendar, to-do list, memo list and list of contacts) using the BlackBerry Desktop Software
    • KB19148 How to synchronize Organizer data in Microsoft Office for Mac between the phone smart BlackBerry and your Mac using BlackBerry Desktop Software

I know I'm throwing a lot to you, but, well... I want to make sure that you are getting the most out of your BB you can, as well as the protection of your data at the same time. Oh Yes... which reminds me... don't forget to activate the app BB Protect free once you have everything... He's going to save your data in the cloud as an extra measure of data protection. It will also help in the case of loss or theft.

  • BlackBerry smartphones no Personal do Email Setup icon

I just got a Curve 8310 several days ago.  I went through the installation wizard, and when he got to the part configuration to e-mail my options only 2 have been

    1. I want to use ot an accouint work email with BlackBerry Enterprise Server

    2. I want to ignore the e-mail configuration

There was nowhere for me to email setup and personal as he says in the book or the tutorial I consulted on the AT & T website.  Under the Blackberry Setup icon, when I click on it only the configuration wizard and configuration bluetooth icons are available, not personal email configuration icon that I continue to read while being available.  I looked everywhere else and not been able to find.

I did go and create an online account so that I could receive emails, but still I don't know how to set up on my real device.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

After doing some research further in this forum, I came across a few other posts with the same question, and it seemed that their provider I forgot to activate their account data.  I talked to my provider and this is the problem with mine too.  Email configuration icon appeared and everything works fine now.

  • Smartphones blackBerry with emails problem

    Hello

For some time (2 or more weeks), I have problem with my emails. Some of them come with delays to the aircraft, some of them come at all. Resemble delays of 15 minutes up to a few hours. For example: today last email I received at 07:40 on the interval, during the day I got 30 + emails and I don't have on the device. I called to the Poland of T - Mobile, but it seems that they don't care. "We're sorry, we're working on that, we'll fix it...". ». I called them last week, yesterday, an official complaint was sent by post 3 days ago. Still nothing. Is there another solution for this problem? My camera BB9900 with OS 7.1 worm 2061 (v. 7.1.0.714, platform 5.1.0.532).

    Thanks in advance

Hello and welcome to the community!

Your device, that's all that you can do the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

If this does not it, it's on the door-side (as they have told you), and unless you have a way to fight them, you must wait for them to solve. You can, of course, check your contract documentation to see if it is at any point in the required resolution that they must respect... that normally would require so some financial remedies to their users. I have no idea what your contract might say in this regard, however.

    Good luck!

  • Email synchronization to Smartphones blackBerry with Outlook 2007

I am absolutely new to Blackberry, so I hope there is a solution to my problem.  I was syncing my device with Outlook and Calendar Contacts tasks & Memo Pad all sync using Desktop Manager, but there is no possibility to synchronize email.  As the strength of the Blackberry is its email management I know I must be missing something.  I am an individual user, and that's why I use BIS.  I've just migrated from a Palm tree where I had no such problem.  In addition, the e-mail program will not synchronize wireless.

A way to fix this takes a few steps. They may need to be modified depending on how you use your email and if you have multiple addresses among other things, but most of what follows can be useful:

1 using the webclient Blackberry (the correct link to use would be provided by your service provider) you can manage your email addresses for your Blackberry.

One of the options provided in the webclient service allows you to automatically bcc to another e-mail address you have, all emails you send from the Blackberry. This gives you a way to actually get a copy in your Outlook. You can then set a rule in Outlook to move all emails that come from your Blackberry in your 'sent' folder, or any other, you choose to do this.

If you use only one address you can bcc yourself and then put in place a (also available in your webclient) filter to avoid duplicates, back to your Blackberry.

    2. When you send emails from Outlook, bcc those you want to appear on your Blackberry directly to your

    Blackberry e-mail address.

The final result is not exactly the same email synchronization would achieve, but I found that it gives me useful information on what email I sent him, if I use Outlook or my Blackberry at the same time.

I hope that helps a little...

  • BlackBerry smartphones want to use old BlackBerry with wifi only

I want to give my daughter an old Verizon BlackBerry Curve 8530 to use as a device with wifi, gmail/cat-only.  It is not active with Verizon (meaning that it has long - since been disabled and is not a phone number that are associated with him).

I have trouble getting the job data.  I joined the wifi network but I can not open a Web page or gmail.  I played with all the settings of network, but found no solution.

    Any ideas?

Hello and welcome to the community!

I can't say what OS you're on, but if I remember correctly the last OS for this model was the one where there was no possibility to make it work on WiFi only. These levels of devices/OS required an active subscription from a company to a data plan BB in order to use all services, even via WiFi only.

I know that's what you were eager to learn, but it is what it is.

    Good luck!

    Hello:

I need help on how to synchronize or transfer all my files, calendar address etc... my Palm Desktop to my Blackberry 9000 "BOLD".

I saw the switch device Wizard in the Office Manager, but when I clicked in there the option click in Palm is not accessible.

    Hi olive_cin:

I just did this last night, synchronize Palm with Outlook, then synchronize Outlook with Blackberry with all my categories intact in my BB.

You can also create new categories in your Outlook Express.

Thank you Bold_Sue and olive_cin for your advice and your entries.  My problem is now solved and I have no need to carry a separate Palm and a separate cell phone.

  • Smartphones blackBerry synchronization of Emails

    Hello

I'm having problems receiving emails from work on my Storm2!

We have a microsoft exchange without BES server and I wanted to know if there is anyway to sync my phone wireless with mail/contacts/calendar/tasks etc. - its seems to be what making known, but very slowly, my device is the display of read and unread emails, but this isn't what is on my work PC!

BlackBerry offers an app for that?

To receive emails on a Blackberry need it a BES?

I thought owning a Blackberry was going to revolutionize my experience of e-mailing, could simply go back to the iPhone!

Since you are not sure, I do notice:

    • You come to offend those in a support forum for users of BlackBerry with your threats of iPhone community.
    • Then, without pause, you criticise these comments as "not constructive and it does not help anyone.
    • Oh, can pretend you that you know what I mean... lol.

So, learn to play well with others and act like a big boy now and let's all agree well in the sandbox sand.

You can't do what you are wanting to do it via WiFi. It's just not possible. I'm sorry. There is no 'midlet' for this purpose.

    Your options are, roughly:

    (1) synchronize your contacts, calendar, notes and tasks via USB > Desktop Manager > Outlook. Your mail will be pushed via a BIS account. It syncs, but rather to "reconcile" for your mail server.

To synchronize contacts, calendar, notes and tasks and balance/ELECTRONIC MESSAGES on your device:

    (2) get an account BES, Exchange shared hosting server to something like hassles for the BES server.

    (3) to host your own blown full BES server, Exchange and get a BES of your carrier account.

    (4) try the new BESX when available. See the RIM site for more details.

I might be missing one option.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry 8330 BES email missing icon

Initially, I place my Blackberry with Internet Web mail to my work Exchange account.  It worked and I got a message icon and an icon of electronic mail.  E-mail formwork happen instantly, but it would happen.

Then we installed the BES professional at work and set up the blackberry connect via BES.  I can get e-mail messages in my e-mail folder (icon) twice; Once instantly (from BES), and later I would get the same message on the Internet.  I then deleted the Internet e-mail account to stop the duplication; However, the end result is that the e-mail icon has disappeared leaving only the message icon.

How can I get the email from BES what icon reloaded?  I sent service books and re-recorded.  I also restored the internet account; However, BES traffic does not appear instantly as it did initially.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

I found my answer on in the following article in the knowledge base Blackberry "see KB03151 for more information on the role of the service books in the integration of email with BlackBerry Internet Service accounts. Due to the function of the average service books, there is no icon on the home screen of your BlackBerry smartphone to individual emails sent from a BlackBerry Enterprise Server. »
