  I've recently switched to a Vista OS computer. Previously (in XP) when I put music files (MP3) on my BB, there was no audio distortion. Since moving to Vista, the audio files sound like listening to music via speakers shit to the sound of high definition (very rough/scrambled). • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry 9800 - file access slow - Please HELP

  I'm new to the Forum of blackberry, but have used a bberry for years... I bought the new blackberry 9800 and love. But lately I had problems when access to the records of the unit, it's the situation.

  2. click on the Applications folder-> open-> go back 2-3 seconds (repeat 3 - 4 times)

  3. click on the Applications folder-> 10-15 seconds to open - > back out (lock device or wait a minute or two)

  4. click on the Applications folder-> perfect 2-3 seconds to open the folder

  No BlackBerry data service: no data, or no service book plan. Add line if necessary plan. Do this correctly configured carrier plan. Return service directories.

  Out of memory? Too many applications, too much data. Remove the need to free up needed space.

  Your problem is you Pocket drained battery (no charger). Please follow described mentioned measures to make it alive.

  Take out the battery and fix it on the pricing (via wallcharger)

  I hope someone here can help me out.  I spent about 4 hours so far, googling and each ant known to man looking for a reading.  Here's my situation.  I have a VZW storm and upgrade to OS le.75.  I tried to back up my camera first by using Desktop Manager, but it fails every time.  It is confusing because it will fail at different points, but always with 'Unknown error' (very descriptive, eh?).  In any case, I have tried everything battery pulls, clear cache, reinstall DM, disabling all FW/AV, disabling UAC software and every combonation it.  Still the same descriptive error.  Someone knows this, or does anyone have a solution?  Here is my system config:

  VZW 9530 OS Storm.65

  DM worm. 4.7.0.32

  Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit (SP1)

  Processor AMD Turion 64 x 2 of HP Pavilion dv6000, 4 GB RAM

  FYI everyone who think they have found a solution to the constantly (and I mean constant) lack of backups.  Sure, you'll find that it works once you found that 'fix', but eventually the failure of backups will come back and sooner than you think.

  The problem is in your browser's cache.  That's the short answer.  I don't know why, but every time that a failure happens during backups everything I need to do to remedy the situation is to clear my browser cache and your Uncle Bob.  For backup/restore in your DTM and click advance.  Go in the cache of your browser and click on "delete".   Return to the last page and save.

  RIM needs to find a fix for this ASAP.  This is a problem for late gen Blackberrys - not exclusive to the storm (GSM or CDMA)

  It could be called 'show all '. Hidden icons will be dimmed... Highlight and tap on the again, who you can then display the icon.

  My torch continues to lose my files that require a battery to restore/being seen pull.  This usually happens after a few hours of use.

  I created a download folder and placed most of my 3rd party apps there and she disappears as well.  While I can scroll or page favorite, frequent and download the headings appear, the apps are all over the place.  The Media folder is a full page size of folder under ALL and nothing shows never under Favorites.  It is difficult to describe clearly.

  I did 5 battery tire yesterday and waited for folders to disappear this last time overnite.  I did research forums and the manual download 9800.  I also removed my card 8 GB SD which I did not reformat and reload before installing.

  I really like the 9800 (coming from the 9000).  I am trying to be patient and solve this vice which dates back to AT & T to another handset.

  I set my left convenience key or the key management connections.

  I only do this for the same reason, when I'm in the car.

  As for letting the bluetooth on permanently. There is not bad except the battery will drain faster. as the phone will send consistent signals to check that the apparatus is nearby.
