Smartphones Blackberry blackBerry under photo files file

Hi all!  I just got a new Blackberry Curve 9330 through Sprint series.

I was trying to download an attached image of an e-mail when I think I can hit a wrong button... or two.  Although I was able to save the image, I now have a file called "Blackberry" in my photo files.

Media-> photos-> photo files-> BlackBerry

I don't think it was here before and during the opening, the Blackberry folder contains folders for the rest of my media, but with nothing in them and all under the heading 'Camera '.

Any of you know what I've done, and how I can fix this problem?

Thank you.

Go to the media folder.  Press the menu button and select "explore".  Then, you can browse the actual structure of the file and modify as you wish.

  • Synchonizing of Smartphones blackBerry - no Photos found photos

I have BB Desktop Software Bundle V5 1626 and have failed for the last 2 versions to synchronize my photos of the device memory or the memory card. When I click on Media Sync/photos it shows no pictures at all. I read that it is suggested to revert to the version that uses Roxio but this version always crashed my computer, so this isn't an option for me. How can I get my pictures from my bb to my laptop? I certainly don't want to send all. Thank you.

Well, thanks to ongoing research (and a lot of frustration) I found the solution to my problem.

All of this has to do with the encryption of the photo files. When encryption is enabled, the image files will have the jpeg.rem extension. These files cannot be synchronized by BB Desktop Manager. They will be not even appear in the synchronization window.

How do you turn encryption power?

Unlike is written in the Curve 8900 help file, the encryption option is not under Options/memory but rather under Options/Security Options.

Once under security options you can enable/disable encryption for media card and the memory of the device.

You can not yet see the photos in BB Desktop Manager after you disable the encryption?

This is because disable encryption does not remove the extension of rem in the pictures that were taken while the encryption was on. Only the photos that you take after the encryption was turned off can be synchronized by the Manager.

So, how do you get the files encrypted on your computer?

Email, my friends. It's the only way. I'm sorry. (I'm not looking forward to this task)

  • Problems of Smartphones blackBerry with photos

Hi and welcome to the forums.

You should have the photos set up to save the map.

Blackberry directories on the map of support should be listed as:

    BlackBerry

    Photos

    Music

    Ringtones

    Video

    VoiceNotes.

    Try using these directories.

    Hello

In native mode, PDF is searchable on a BB only when they live in an attachment (for example, an attachment). Once detached, you need additional software (plus tax is based) in order to make the PDF file. If it's the PDF only you are afraid, then the easiest "fix" would be to email to yourself... then keep that email so that you can use the Service of the attachment to view the PDF file. If you have several PDF files you need to work with in this way, you should study the different options for an app to Add - you make PDF files.

    Good luck!

  • Find Smartphones blackBerry & management of files and PDF display

    Dear all

I copied the files using Desktop Manager for a memory card on my phone.  Some files are in .xls format and most are in PDF format.

    I have some problems.

    (1) how can I look at the files that are on the media card, and organize files in different folders etc. i.e. is there an application to manage the files. I went to the Applications, Slideshow to Go, then to "Open a file" and traveled to \Media Card\Blackberry\documents where the files should be and nothing shows.

    (2) once I find them, how can I view PDF files - those for example.

To test this situation, I sent an email from my computer at home test attaching one of these PDF files that was in the file \Media Card\Blackberry\documents as expected. I noticed that each file in the folder had a "?" icon next to it.

I forwarded email happened to my home computer and I was able to view the PDF file I sent.

When I went back to my e-mail folder and tried to see - on my phone the attachment I sent it came with the message "this type of attachment cannot be seen on the device.

When I sent the file to my phone from my computer at home and opened the attachment in the Inbox, this time I was able to view the attachment.

I hope you can help, because these PDF files contain my rates and I need to access them when I'm on the move.

If things work out, then you can already see the two letters of extra drive in Windows, that would mean then - no need to re - install anything. If you do not see the letters of readers, then you may not be in on the device mass storage mode?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones photo file format changed in. jpg.rem

    Hello

In the last two months, I've faced a weird problem with my photo files. Each file made / saved will be named with the extension. jpg.rem

Since then, I can't front/send my photos through any media IE. BBMessenger, group e-mail chats, etc.

I tried changing the extension manually but rejected by the system.

What actually happens? And how it can be fixed pls?

    Thank you very much
    Andy

Don't worry, you already enabled file encryption and you cannot view the file on any other device other than your own. Go to options > security options > encryption, and then select Disable from the menu drop-down
